磨石磨损分形预测研究

磨合是新机器投入正常运行前所必须经历的一个过程。合理的磨合可防止机器在早期发生咬合,从而极大地延长其使用寿命,基于磨损表面的分形表征,经典接触理论和磨损理论,建立了磨合磨损预测分形模型,以铜合金销和４５＃钢盘试样组成摩擦副,在销－盘摩擦磨损试验机上进行了磨合试验。研究结果表明,基于所建立的模型的磨损率预测结果与试验结果基本吻合。     

热毛细对流温度场全息干涉检测研究

本文采用Ｈｅｌｅ－Ｓｈａｗ盒体,在地面上模拟二维热毛细对流,应用全息干涉技术对热毛细对流温度场进行了测试研究,为了获得感兴趣的热毛细对流温度增量分布,文中提出了将背景温度分布条纹与热毛细对流温度增量分布条纹相分离的方法。

The number of simple modules of a cellular algebra

Let n be a natural number, and let A be an indecomposable cellular algebra such that the spectrum of its Cartan matrix C is of the form {n, 1, …., 1}. In general, not every natural number could be the number of non-isomorphic simple modules over such a cellular algebra. Thus, two natural questions arise: (1) which numbers could be the number of non-isomorphic simple modules over such a cellular algebra A ? (2) Given such a number, is there a cellular algebra such that its Cartan matrix has the desired property ? In this paper, we shall completely answer the first question, and give a partial answer to the second question by constructing cellular algebras with the pre-described Cartan matrix.     

On topological properties of the Hartman-Mycielski functor

We investigate some topological properties of a normal functorH introduced earlier by Radul which is some functorial compactification of the Hartman-Mycielski construction HM. We prove that the pair (H X, HMY) is homeomorphic to the pair (Q, σ) for each nondegenerated metrizable compactumX and each denseσ-compact subsetY.     

Visible evidence for the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture for modular abelian varieties of analytic rank zero

This paper provides evidence for the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture for analytic rank  abelian varieties  that are optimal quotients of attached to newforms. We prove theorems about the ratio , develop tools for computing with , and gather data about certain arithmetic invariants of the nearly abelian varieties of level . Over half of these have analytic rank , and for these we compute upper and lower bounds on the conjectural order of  . We find that there are at least such for which the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture implies that is divisible by an odd prime, and we prove for of these that the odd part of the conjectural order of really divides by constructing nontrivial elements of using visibility theory. We also give other evidence for the conjecture. The appendix, by Cremona and Mazur, fills in some gaps in the theoretical discussion in their paper on visibility of Shafarevich-Tate groups of elliptic curves.
