Compared to conventional photothermal therapy (PTT) which requires hyperthermia higher than 50 °C, mild-temperature PTT is a more promising antitumor strategy with much lower phototoxicity to neighboring normal tissues. However, the therapeutic efficacy of mild-temperature PTT is always restricted by the thermoresistance of cancer cells. To address this issue, a supramolecular drug nanocarrier is fabricated to co-deliver nitric oxide (NO) and photothermal agent DCTBT with NIR-II aggregation-induced emission (AIE) characteristic for mild-temperature PTT. NO can be effectively released from the nanocarriers in intracellular reductive environment and DCTBT is capable of simultaneously producing reactive oxygen species (ROS) and hyperthermia upon 808 nm laser irradiation. The generated ROS can further react with NO to produce peroxynitrite (ONOOˉ) bearing strong oxidization and nitration capability. ONOOˉ can inhibit the expression of heat shock proteins (HSP) to reduce the thermoresistance of cancer cells, which is necessary to achieve excellent therapeutic efficacy of DCTBT-based PTT at mild temperature (<50 °C). The antitumor performance of ONOOˉ-potentiated mild-temperature PTT is validated on subcutaneous and orthotopic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) models. This research puts forward an innovative strategy to overcome thermoresistance for mild-temperature PTT, which provides new inspirations to explore ONOOˉ-sensitized tumor therapy strategies. 相似文献

Bismuth (Bi3+)-included lead-free metal halide (LFMH) materials attract much attention in lighting, display, photodetectors, X-ray detectors, and photovoltaic fields, due to the tunable luminescence and optoelectronic performance in response to crystal and electronic structure, morphology, and particle sizes. This review summarizes Bi3+-included LFMH materials about their preparation approach, crystal and electronic structure properties, luminescence performance, and emerging applications. Notably, Bi3+ ions not only can act as framework cation to construct stable LFMH structure, but can also incorporate into LFMH materials as activators or sensitizers to generate remarkable luminescence tuning and band engineering. The Bi3+ effect on the luminescence and optoelectronic properties of LFMH materials, including, promotion of exciton localization, enhancement of light absorption in near-ultraviolet region, action as sensitizer ions to transfer energy to rare earth or transition metal ions and emission of highly-efficient light is systematically summarized. The proposed structure-luminescence relationship offers guidance for the optimization of current Bi3+-included LFMH materials and the exploitation of new LFMH derivatives. 相似文献

In a previous paper, a scheme of integral approximation was proposed, in which a large number of two-electron integrals containing a certain kind of orbital pairs, i.e., weakly related pairs, can be neglected. A new criterion for partitioning orbital pairs into two groups, i.e., strongly and weakly related pairs, is introduced in order to allow for neglect of more integrals without sacrificing the accuracy of a computation. Test calculations on the BH3? C2H4 complex show that by the use of the new version, results of roughly the same accuracy as was obtained by the old version is obtained by retaining 80% of the integrals used in the old version. This kind of saving is more significant for larger molecules. For example, in a calculation on Cu-porphine with 203 CGTO 'S , the revised version will require about 2.0 × 106 integrals, while the original version will require about 4.5 × 106. A family of homochiral metal carboxylate coordination polymers have been synthesized by treating 2,2'-dihydroxy-1,1'-binaphthalene-6,6'-dicarboxylic acid (H(2)BDA) with metal salts at elevated temperatures. BDA ligands link adjacent metal centers to form 1D coordination polymeric chains using the carboxylate functionality, while the hydroxyl groups of BDA ligands form H-bonds with carboxylate oxygen atoms to link 1D coordination polymeric chains into open frameworks of higher dimensionality. Endostatin, a carboxyl-terminal fragment of collagen XVIII is known as an anti-angiogenic agent, that specifically inhibits the proliferation of endothelial cell and the growth of several primary tumor. We report here the purification and characterization of the recombinant murine endostatin (rmEndostatin) which was expressed in a prokaryotic expression system. This rmEndostatin has similar physiochemical properties of yeast-produced recombinant endostatin, and it also specifically inhibits the proliferation and migration of bovine capillary endothelial cells stimulated by basic fibroblast growth factor. The biological activity of rmEndostatin was also shown by its anti-angiogenic ability on the chorioallantoic membrane of chick embryo in vivo. In this article, we demonstrate the refolding and purification of rmEndostatin, expressed using E. coli system, to a biologically active and soluble form. In addition, these results confirm the activity of endostatin as a potent anti-angiogenic agent. 相似文献
