The aldol approach to construct the tetracyclic polyquinane skeleton of 12, followed by hydroboration and the HMPA mediated dehydration of four hydroxyl groups has resulted in the facile synthesis of the chiral polyquinene, tetracyclo[6.6.0.01,5.08,12]-tetradecane-3,6,10,13-tetraene 2. This method completely avoids the troublesome fragmentation reactions earlier encountered when the strained tetraone 9 was reacted with nucleophilic reagents.  相似文献

A process is described for the oligomerization of methyl ester of dehydrated castor oil fatty acid over molybdenum oxide on silica–alumina catalyst. The process is compared with thermal oligomerization. The nature of the reaction in both the processes are shown to be the same from the structural elucidation of the product despite the variation in product composition. The percentage of dimer in the product in both the processes is observed to attain an equilibrium value at around 270°C. The catalytic process is shown to follow a second-order kinetics with respect to the monomer, whereas the thermal reaction follows a first-order kinetics. The kinetic scheme derived for the catalytic process is shown to be consistent with the steps of the general mechanism proposed for oligomerization reactions over transition metal catalysts [V. G. Kumar, S. Venkatachalam, and K.V.C. Rao, J. Poly. Sci. Polym. Chem. Ed., 22 , 3850 (1984)].  相似文献

The diabetes is a critical disease from the small children to old age people. Due to improper diet and physical activities of the living population, obesity becomes prevalent in young generation. If we analyze self care of individual life, no man or women ready to spend their time for health care. It leads to problem like diabetes, blood pressure etc. Today is a busy world were robots and artificial machines ready to take care of human personal needs. Automatic systems help humans to manage their busy schedule. It motivates us to develop a diabetes motoring system for patients using IoT device in their body which monitors their blood sugar level, blood pressure, sport activities, diet plan, oxygen level, ECG data. The data are processed using feature selection algorithm called as particle swarm optimization and transmitted to nearest edge node for processing in 5G networks. Secondly, data are processed using DBN Layer. Thirdly, we share the diagnosed data output through the wireless communication such as LTE/5G to the patients connected through the edge nodes for further medical assistance. The patient wearable devices are connected to the social network. The Result of our proposed system is evaluated with some existing system. Time and Performance outperform than other techniques.

The two-dimensional quantum well laser simulator Visible Laser Simulator (VLS) has been extended to simulate III–V nitride based lasers. In this paper, we present details about the laser simulator and focus on the six band k.p solver used to calculate the electronic band structure. The effect of strain on bulk and quantum well electronic dispersion is analyzed, and the influence of the built-in polarization charges on the band diagram is likewise considered.  相似文献

A double substrate uncatalyzed bromate oscillator is reported. Oscillations occur for several minutes, the color of the solution alternating between dark brown and reddish yellow. The oscillatory wave form (Pt electrode) has a distinct pattern, with a progressive increase in the amplitude and time interval. This article reports a continuation of our work on the substituent effects on the preferred helical conformations and the mutarotation of substituted poly(L -prolines). The size of the substituent has been increased from a methyl group to an ethyl group in the 5 position. The purpose is twofold: (i) according to our theoretical conformational energy calculations, an ethyl group in the 5 position can exert a greater steric effect than can a methyl group; and (ii) the rotation-isomerization of the ethyl group introduces a new intriguing fact to the problem. The cis isomer of 5-ethylproline was synthesized by catalytic hydrogenation of Δ′-2-ethylpyrroline-5-carboxylic acid, whereas for trans-5-ethylproline, a chemical separation method involving p-toluenesulfonyl chloride was used. The resolution of cis-5-ethylproline and the assignment of absolute configurations have been carried out by fractional crystallization and circular dichroism spectroscopic techniques, respectively. Poly(cis-5-ethyl-D -proline) was obtained from its corresponding N-carboxyanhydrides via a ring opening polymerization.  相似文献

Reaction of 1-methyl-3,4-dihydro-β-carboline 1 with methyl glycidate 4 gave the novel tetracyclic conjugated γ-lactam, 2-methylpyrrolo[1′,2′:1,2]pyrido[3,4–6]indol-3-one 5 . The same compound 5 was obtained in higher yield when 1 was treated with methyl 2-methoxyacrylate 7 . Sodium borohydride treatment of 5 resulted in the cleavage of lactam to yield the unexpected alcohols 8 and 9 .  相似文献

Zn0.52Se0.48/Si Schottky diodes are fabricated by depositing zinc selenide (Zn0.52Se0.48) thin films onto Si(1 0 0) substrates by vacuum evaporation technique. Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (RBS) analysis shows that the deposited films are nearly stoichiometric in nature. X-ray diffractogram of the films reveals the preferential orientation of the films along (1 1 1) direction. Structural parameters such as crystallite size (D), dislocation density (δ), strain (ε), and the lattice parameter are calculated as 29.13 nm, 1.187 × 10−15 lin/m2, 1.354 × 10−3 lin−2 m−4 and 5.676 × 10−10 m respectively. From the IV measurements on the Zn0.52Se0.48/p-Si Schottky diodes, ideality and diode rectification factors are evaluated, as 1.749 (305 K) and 1.04 × 104 (305 K) respectively. The built-in potential, effective carrier concentration (NA) and barrier height were also evaluated from CV measurement, which are found to be 1.02 V, 5.907 × 1015 cm−3 and 1.359 eV respectively.  相似文献
