A tetranitrile monomer was synthesized by nucleophilic aromatic substitution of N,N′-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-4,13-diaza-18-crown-6 onto 4-nitrophthalonitrile. A series of polymeric metal-free and metallophthalocyanine (M = 2H, Zn, Cu, Co and Ni) polymers was prepared by polymeric tetramerization reaction of the tetranitrile monomer with proper materials. The electrical conductivities of the polymeric phthalocyanines measured as gold sandwiches were found to be ∼10−9–10−4 S cm−1 in a vacuum and in argon. The extraction ability of the metal-free polymeric phthalocyanine was evaluated in tetrahydrofuran using several alkali metal picrates such as Li+, Na+, K+ and Cs+. The extraction affinity of the metal-free polymeric phthalocyanine for K+ was found to be highest in the heterogeneous solid–liquid phase extraction experiments. The disaggregation property of the metal-free polymeric phthalocyanine was investigated with sodium, potassium and ammonium ions and methanol. All the novel compounds were characterized by using elemental analysis, UV–Vis, FT-IR, NMR and MS spectral data and DTA/TG.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Because of the high radiation dose in applications involving nuclear reactors, medical treatments etc., it is important to reduce the exposure to radiation of areas and workers. In this study, we were examined gamma ray shielding parameters of the newly produced Re-based superalloys. Mass attenuation coefficient (µ/ρ) of the alloys were obtained experimentally at 81, 276, 302, 356, 383 keV photon energies emitted from 133Ba radioactive source using Ultra Ge detector. The experimental results were compared with the values obtained by the WinXCOM program and were found to be in perfect agreement with each other. Additionally, effective atomic number (Zeff) and electron density (Neff) were determined for produced Rhenium (Re) based super alloys in the energy range 1 keV–100?GeV. S5 sample which has maximum Rhenium percentage own the largest µ/ρ and Zeff values. Moreover, by using Geometric Progression (GP) approximation, EABF and EBF were computed for the superalloys depending on the energy and penetration depths. It has been deduced that the values of EABF and EBF are minimum in the medium energy region. EBF and EABF values of the alloys have changed depending on the equivalent atomic number. Among alloy samples under study, S5 superalloy is the best for gamma ray shielding. However, in general, considering the radiation energies used in many applications, all the alloys under study have satisfactory radiation absorption properties.  相似文献

The title compound, C13H13ClN4O2, contains both a phenyl and a triazole ring, both of which are approximately coplanar with the entire mol­ecule. The triazole ring has substituents at the 1‐, 2‐ and 4‐positions. Phthalonitriles disubstituted by alkylsulfanyl moieties of different bulkiness (tert-butyl, adamantly, cyclohexyl and hexyl) and in 4,5- or 3,6-positions, respectively, set A and set B, have been prepared for comparative structural analyses. Miscellaneous parameters such as melting points and related polarity of the compounds are summarized. Poly(acrylonitrile-co-isobutyl methacrylate), PAN-co-PIBMA, and poly(acrylonitrile-co-methyl methacrylate), PAN-co-MMA copolymers are synthesized by emulsion polymerization. The structural characterization is done by FTIR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy and thermal analyses are performed by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). After various amounts of LiClO4 salt loading into copolymer films, the dielectric properties of these films at different temperatures and frequencies are determined. The effects of different methacrylate groups and salt content on the dielectric properties of copolymers are investigated. It is found that the dielectric constant increases systematically with increasing MMA and IBMA content in the copolymer. The samples with higher salt content show higher ac-conductivities.  相似文献

Recent scientific studies have proven the importance of trace elements on human health. The main food supplies are plants and animals, which are significant sources of these minerals. Studies on determining mineral compositions of herbs, spices and some other crops have increased all over the world. Published works revealed that spices, herbs and medicinal plants should be consumed to obtain beneficial trace elements. Selenium (Se), one of the most vital trace elements, has a significant role in human diet acting as a preventative agent against some serious illnesses. Despite numerous scientific works on mineral compositions of medicinal and aromatic plants, investigations of selenium content in these foods could not be successfully studied until recently due to the lack of suitable analytical methods for selenium analysis. Thus, publications on selenium concentrations of foods are recent. In this regard, selenium contents of some medicinal and aromatic plants commonly used as spices, herbal teas and traditional medicines in Turkey were studied in the present research. Selenium contents of the most used parts of these plants were analyzed by ICP-OES (Varian Vista-Pro, Australia). Of the analyzed 26 medicinal and aromatic plants, the highest Se concentration (1133 microg kg-1) was found in sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) and the lowest in sumac (Rhus coriaria L.) fruits (11 microg kg(-1)).  相似文献

A Zn(II) phthalocyanine substituted with eight hydroxylated sulfanyl moieties in non-peripheral positions was designed to exhibit properties desired for photodynamic therapy: hydrophilicity, isomeric purity and near-infrared absorption in addition to high singlet oxygen generation. Multimedia indexing and retrieval has become a challenging topic in organizing huge amount of multimedia data. This problem is not a trivial task for large visual databases; hence, segmentation into low- and high-level temporal video segments might improve the realization of this task. In this paper, we introduce a weighted undirected graph-based movie scene detection approach to detect semantically meaningful temporal video segments. The method is based on the idea of finding the dominant scene of the video according to the selected low-level feature. The proposed method starts from obtaining the most reliable solution first and exploit each solution in the subsequent steps recursively. The dominant movie scene boundary, which can be the highest probability to be the correct one, is determined and this scene boundary information is also exploited in the subsequent steps. We handle two partitioning strategies to determine the boundaries of the remaining scenes. One is a tree-based strategy and the other is an order-based strategy. The proposed dominant sets based movie scene detection method is compared with the graph-based video scene detection methods presented in literature.  相似文献
