(all-Z)-(9,10,12,13,15,16-2H6)Octadeca-9,12,15-trienoic acid ( = α-linolenic acid; D6- 4 ) was synthesized to investigate the biochemical formation of linolenic-acid-derived aroma compounds in cultures of the yeast Sporobolomyces odorus, using an established gas chromatographic/mass spectrometric (GC/MS) method. Three compounds were identified as labeled: (Z)-dec-7-eno-5-lactone (δ-jasmin lactone), (Z,Z)-dodeca-6,9-dieno-4-lactone, and (2E,4Z)-hepta-2,4-dienoic acid. Both lactones were biosynthesized mostly under conservation of the initial configuration from their corresponding oxygenated linolenic-acid intermediates. The application of (13S,9Z,11E,15Z)-13-hydroxy(9,10,12,13,15, 16-2H6)octadeca-9,11,15-trienoic acid (D6- 7 ) as a OH-functionalized precursor of δ-jasmin lactone allowed to gain insight into the stereochemical course of the biosynthesis to both enantiomers of this lactone. In this experiment, 88.3% of the metabolized labeled precursor was transformed under retention of the original configuration of the (R)-enantiomer. This investigation is also a contribution to a better understanding of the C?C bond isomerization steps which took place during the β-oxidative degradation of the substrate.  相似文献

Substituted 5-hexen-1-oxyl radicals have been generated from N-(5-hexen-1-oxy)-5-(p-methoxyphenyl)-4-methylthiazole-2(3H)-thiones under tin-free conditions and have been successfully applied as reactive intermediates in a mechanistic study on the formation of bromomethyl-substituted tetrahydropyrans via 6-exo-trig selective cyclizations.  相似文献

Dependent on the relative particle core size, two distinct types of particle topologies in block copolymer/nanocrystal blends have been identified, that is, the localization of particles along the intermaterial dividing surface or at the center of the respective polymer domain. In ternary systems consisting of block copolymer and two different-sized nanocrystal species, the distinct morphological types are conserved, resulting in autonomous size-selective separation and organization of the respective nanocrystals within alternating arrays and sheets.  相似文献

A new, 1-mm-continuum, bolometer detector system has been constructed employing internal adsorption pumping of He-3 to reach an operating temperature close to 0.4 K. The system spectral bandwidth is 800 to 1200 μm. Although the system was originally designed to be used on the 5-m Hale telescope, it has also been successfully used on the 4-m Anglo-Australian telescope and on the 10-m dish at Owens Valley, California. At the 5-m Hale telescope, the system has a full width-half maximum (FWHM) beam size of 55t" and an instantaneous noise-equivalent flux density of 6 \({{Jy} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{Jy} {\sqrt {Hz} }}} \right. \kern-0em} {\sqrt {Hz} }}\) in good weather.  相似文献

N.M.R. Spectroscopic Investigations of Thiophosphazenes. II. N.M.R. Spectroscopic Investigations of 15N Labelled Thiophosphazenes Completely 15N labelled compounds of the type 15N3P3Cl6?n(SR)n, R = Et or Ph; n = 0, 2, 4, or 6, and of the type 15N4P4Cl8?n(SR)n, R = Et; n = 0, 4, or 8, were prepared and investigated by means of both 31P n.m.r. spectroscopy and 15N n.m.r. spectroscopy respectively. The coupling constants 2JPP, in some cases only found by simulating the spectra, and the coupling constants 1JPN are given. The values of these coupling constants and their relation are discussed. The general tendency is visible, that with increasing coupling constant 1JPN the coupling constant 2JPP decreases. With increasing grade of substitution n the 15N chemical shifts are changed to higher fields.  相似文献

The magnetic alignment behavior ofbicelles (magnetically alignable phospholipid bilayered membranes) as a function of the q ratio (1,2-dihexanoyl-sn-glycerol phosphatidylcholine/1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-glycerol phosphatidylcholine mole ratio) and temperature was studied by spin-labeled X-band electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy and solid-state 2H and 31P NMR spectroscopy. Well-aligned bicelle samples were obtained at 45 degrees C for q ratios between 2.5 and 9.5 in both the EPR and NMR spectroscopic studies. The molecular order of the system, S(mol), increased as the q ratio increased and as the temperature decreased. For higher q ratios (> or = 5.5), bicelles maintained magnetic alignment when cooled below the main phase transition temperature (approximately 30 degrees C when in the presence of lanthanide cations), which is the first time, to our knowledge, that bicelles were magnetically aligned in the gel phase. For the 9.5 q ratio sample at 25 degrees C, S(mol) was calculated to be 0.83 (from 2H NMR spectra, utilizing the isotopic label perdeuterated 1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-glycerol phosphatidylcholine) and 0.911 (from EPR spectra utilizing the spin probe 3beta-doxyl-5alpha-cholestane). The molecular ordering of the high q ratio bicelles is comparable to literature values of S(mol) for both multilamellar vesicles and macroscopically aligned phospholipid bilayers on glass plates. The order parameter S(bicelle) revealed that the greatest degree of bicelle alignment was found at higher temperatures and larger q ratios (S(bicelle) = -0.92 for q ratio 8.5 at 50 degrees C).  相似文献

The combination of in situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, infrared reflection spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, and time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry are used to probe the nature of the evolving interface chemistry and metal morphology arising from Ti vapor deposition onto the surface of a CH(3)(CH(2))(15)S/Au{111} self-assembled monolayer (SAM) at ambient temperature. The results show that for a deposition rate of approximately 0.15 Ti atom.nm(-2).s(-1) a highly nonuniform Ti overlayer is produced via a process in which a large fraction of impinging Ti atoms do not stick to the bare SAM surface. The adsorbed atoms form isolated Ti clusters and react with CH(3) groups to form carbide products at the cluster-SAM interfaces. Further growth of Ti clusters appears to be concentrated at these scattered reaction centers. The SAM molecules in the local vicinity are subsequently degraded to inorganic products, progressing deeper into the monolayer as the deposition proceeds to give an inorganic/organic nanocomposite. A continuous overlayer does not form until metal coverage approaches approximately 50 Ti atoms per SAM molecule. These data indicate that for applications such as molecular device contacts the use of Ti may be highly problematic, suffering from both a highly nonuniform contact area and the presence of extensive inorganic products such as nonstoichiometric carbides and hydrides.  相似文献

Crystals of 4(C2H5)4N+F · 11H2O are orthorhombic, space groupPna21, witha=16.130(3),b=16.949(7),c=17.493(7) Å, andZ=4. The structure was shown to be a clathrate hydrate containing infinite chains of edge-sharing (H2O)4F tetrahedra extending parallel to thea axis. The chains are laterally linked by bridging water molecules to form a three-dimensional hydrogen-bonded anion/water framework. The ordered (C2H5)4N+ cations occupy the voids in two open channel systems running in theb andc directions. FinalR F =0.091 for 2278 observed MoK data measured at 22°C.
