We study the inhomogeneous deformation of a wedge of an incompressible generalized power-law Neo-Hookean material. We find solutions which have a boundary layer structure, in the sense that adjacent to the boundary the solution is inhomogeneous, while in the core region the solution is homogeneous. It is found that such solutions have an associated pressure field that is bounded. Inhomogeneous solutions are also possible when the pressure varies logarithmically with the radial coordinate. We also establish explicit exact solutions for specific values of the parameter. The results reduce to the Neo-Hookean solution when the power law exponent is set to unity. 相似文献

The performance analysis of dual (two-branch) maximal ratio combining (MRC) under imperfect weight, named imperfect MRC, due to the noise imbalance is derived over independent but non-identical Rayleigh fading channels. Considering the system (or channel) conditions that the noise level of each branch is different, we present the accurate performance analysis of imperfect dual MRC in terms of average combined signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), outage probability and average symbol error rate for a large class of modulations in closed-form and compare them with the performance of the perfect MRC and the perfect selection combining (SC) over non-identical but independent Rayleigh fading channels based on the interesting statistical results on the combined SNR. Bit-interleaved coded modulation with iterative decoding (ID) is an effective scheme for both AWGN and fading channels because it simultaneously realizes large Euclidean distance and high diversity. In the literature, ID schemes with hard-decision feedback (HDF), as well as soft-decision feedback (SDF), have been investigated. While HDF/ID exhibits a performance inferior to SDF/ID, it is much simpler to implement. To enhance the performance of HDF/ID with moderate additional complexity, we propose a uniform soft-decision feedback ID (USF/ID) scheme. The proposed scheme is applicable in both single antenna and multiple antenna communication systems. The simulation results verify that it achieves impressive performance gain over HDF/ID and has a practically more attractive implementation than SDF/ID, especially for complexity-constrained wireless applications. 相似文献

We introduce a new trellis coded differential unitary space-time modulation scheme for multiple-antenna wireless systems. In the new scheme, the constellation expansion is executed using a super unitarity technique so that the number of available unitary matrices is increased but the transmitted symbol alphabet is kept the same. A novel set partitioning strategy is then applied to the expanded matrix set. This scheme avoids the rate-loss problem suffered by traditional code design.
