Silver and gold organosols are easily prepared by transferring nanoparticles from aqueous phase into isooctane with high efficiency (>90%). Concentrations of sodium oleate and magnesium chloride have crucial effects on the transfer efficiency. Based on the UV-visible absorption spectra, TEM micrographs of nanoparticles, as well as molecular modeling calculation about the adsorption conformation of sodium oleate molecules, a possible phase transfer mechanism is proposed.  相似文献

CO2 molecule chemisorbs selectively on the zigzag tube edge without an activation barrier, whereas it physisorbs on the armchair edge of nanotubes. In addition, carbon nanotubes can be etched by an adsorbed oxygen atom of CO2 molecule. The catalytic efficiency of adenylyl cyclase activity of edema factor (EF) from Bacillus anthracis is enhanced by approximately 1000-fold upon its binding to mammalian protein calmodulin (CaM). A tandem cell-based and protein binding-based screen of a 10,000 member library identified a molecule that inhibits the EF-CaM interaction and therefore the adenylyl cyclase activity. A combination of fluorescence spectroscopy and photolabeling studies showed that the molecule targets the CaM binding region of EF. A series of related compounds were synthesized and evaluated to identify one compound, 4-[4-(4-nitrophenyl)-thiazolylamino]-benzenesulfonamide, that maintained activity against EF but showed minimal toxicity to two cultured cell lines. This compound represents an important reagent to study the role of EF in anthrax pathology and may represent a drug lead against anthrax infection.  相似文献

Reactions of two new tripodal ligands 1,3,5-tris(1-imidazolyl)benzene (4) and 1,3-bis(1-imidazolyl)-5-(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene (5) with metal [Ag(I), Cu(II), Zn(II), Ni(II)] salts lead to the formation of novel two-dimensional (2D) metal-organic frameworks [Ag(2)(4)(2)][p-C(6)H(4)(COO)(2)].H(2)O (6), [Ag(4)]ClO(4) (7), [Cu(4)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](CH(3)COO)(2).2H(2)O (8), [Zn(4)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(2) (9), [Ni(4)(2)(N(3))(2)].2H(2)O (10), and [Ag(5)]ClO(4) (11). All the structures were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Crystal data for 6: monoclinic, C2/c, a = 23.766(3) A, b = 12.0475(10) A, c = 13.5160(13) A, beta = 117.827(3) degrees, Z = 4. For compound 7: orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 7.2495(4) A, b = 12.0763(7) A, c = 19.2196(13) A, Z = 4. For compound 8: monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 8.2969(5) A, b = 12.2834(5) A, c = 17.4667(12) A, beta = 96.5740(10) degrees, Z = 2. For compound 9: monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a =10.5699(3) A, b = 11.5037(3) A, c = 13.5194(4) A, beta = 110.2779(10) degrees, Z = 2. For compound 10: monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 9.8033(3) A, b = 12.1369(5) A, c = 13.5215(5) A, beta = 107.3280(10) degrees, Z = 2. Both complexes 6 and 7 are noninterpenetrating frameworks based on the (6, 3) nets, and 8, 9 and 10 are based on the (4, 4) nets while complex 11 has a twofold parallel interpenetrated network with 4.8(2) topology. It is interesting that, in complexes 6,7, and 11 with three-coordinated planar silver(I) atoms, each ligand 4 or 5 connects three metal atoms, while in the case of complexes 8, 9, and 10 with six-coordinated octahedral metal atoms, each ligand 4 only links two metal atoms, and another imidazole nitrogen atom of 4 did not participate in the coordination with the metal atoms in these complexes. The results show that the nature of organic ligand and geometric needs of metal atoms have great influence on the structure of metal-organic frameworks.  相似文献

Various kinds of aluminum species in dealuminated mordenite were investigated in detail, and the quadrupole coupling constants (QCCs) for aluminum atoms associated with these species were obtained by means of the newly introduced1H/27 AI TRAPWR method as well as27Al magic angle spinning (MAS) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). QCC values of 11.3, 15.3, 13.3 and (14.0± 0.6) MHz were determined from the TRAPDOR profiles for Lewis acid sites, Bronsted acid sites (SiOHAl) and two kinds of non-framework aluminum species Al(OH) n , respectively. The source of the “invisible Al” is discussed on the basis of the NMR experimental results.  相似文献

The chiral resolving ability of a novel single-isomer cationic β-cyclodextrin (CD), mono-6A-propylammonium-6A-deoxy-β-cyclodextrin chloride (PrAMCD), as a chiral selector in capillary electrophoresis (CE) is reported in this work for the enantioseparation of hydroxy, carboxylic acids and amphoteric analytes. The effect of chiral selector concentration on the resolution was studied. Good resolutions were achieved for hydroxy acids. Optimum resolutions were obtained even at 3.5 mM CD concentration for carboxylic acids. The electrophoretic method showed good linearity and reproducibility in terms of migration times and peak areas, which should make it suitable for routine analysis. In addition, baseline chiral separation of a six-acid mixture was achieved within 20 min. PrAMCD proved to be an effective chiral selector for acidic analytes.  相似文献

Alkylnaphthalene sulfonates with high purity were selected as model components to research synergism for lowering interfacial tension (IFT) in surfactant/alkali/acidic oil systems. The dynamic IFTs between alkylnaphthalene sulfonates with different alkyl chain length and n-decane, oleic acid model oil, or Shengli crude oil were measured. The results showed that the alkylnaphthalene sulfonates with different alkyl chain lengths had different synergism with different acidic components and their ionized acids under the same conditions. The synergism for lowering dynamic IFT in alkylnaphthalene sulfonate/alkali/acidic oil systems was controlled by alkylnaphthalene sulfonate concentration, alkyl chain length, alkali concentration, alkali type, and oleic acid concentration: optimal physicochemical conditions were necessary to the best synergism. This indicates that the synergism among added surfactant acidic components in crude oil and their ionized acids is controlled by the ratio of their interfacial concentrations.  相似文献

Fluorescent polymer cubosomes and hexosomes with aggregation-induced emission (AIE) were prepared from amphiphilic block copolymers PEG-b-PTPEMA where the hydrophobic block PTPEMA was a polymethacrylate with tetraphenylethene (TPE) as the AIE side group. Four highly asymmetric block copolymers with hydrophilic block weight ratio fPEG ≤ 20% were synthesized. Cubosomes and hexosomes with strong fluorescence emission were obtained by nanoprecipitation of polymers with fPEG < 9% in dioxane/water and THF/water systems. Their ordered internal structures were studied by electron microscopy (cryo-EM, SEM and TEM) and the X-ray scattering technique (SAXS). To elucidate the formation mechanisms of these inverted colloids, other parameters influencing the morphologies, like the water content during self-assembly and the organic solvent composition, were also investigated. This study not only inspires people to design novel building blocks for the preparation of functional cubosomes and hexosomes, but also presents the first AIE fluorescent polymer cubosome and hexosome with potential applications in bio-related fields.

Fluorescent Im3̄m cubosome and P6mm hexosome with aggregation-induced emission (AIE) were reported, which were formed by amphiphilic block copolymers PEG-b-PTPEMA. The length of hydrophobic block PTPEMA was adjusted to control morphology formation.  相似文献

An exact vibration–rotation kinetic energy operator for polyatomic molecules has been obtained on the basis of Sutcliffe's method, in terms of curvilinear internal coordinates and rotational angular moment operators. This operator is derived from the kinetic energy operator in Cartesian coordinates by the successive transformations using the chain rule. This kinetic energy operator can be used not only for the system of any triatomic and tetraatomic molecules and common polyatomic molecules in chemistry, but also for the investigation of the collision problems between two molecules after some modifications. Finally, using this Hamiltonian, the rotation–vibration coupling equations of polyatomic molecules have been derived and discussed. © 1992 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献
