Current Understanding toward Isonitrile Group Biosynthesis and Mechanism

Isonitrile group has been identified in many natural products.Due to the broad reactivity of N≡C triple bond,these natural products have valuable pharmaceutical potentials.This review summarizes the current biosynthetic pathways and the corresponding enzymes that are responsible for isonitrile-containing natural product generation.Based on the strategies utilized,two fundamentally distinctive approaches are discussed.In addition,recent progress in elucidating isonitrile group formation mechanisms is also presented.     

Self-Compacting Alkali-Activated Materials: Progress and Perspectives

Alkali-activated materials (AAMs) are considered to be alternative cementitious materials for civil infrastructures. Nowadays, efforts have been made in developing AAMs with self-compacting ability. The obtained self-compacting AAMs (SCAAMs) accomplish superior passing and filling properties as well as excellent mechanical and environmental advantages. This work critically revisits recent progresses in SCAAMs including mixture proportions, fresh properties, mechanical strength, microstructure, acid and sulfate resistance, high temperature behaviors, impact resistance and interface shear strength. To facilitate direct comparison and interpretation of data from different publications, mixture proportions were normalized in terms of the content of key reactive components from precursors and activators, and correlation with mechanical behaviors was made. Moreover, special attention was paid to current research challenges and perspectives to promote further investigation and field application of SCAAMs as advanced construction material.     

Statistical thermodynamics of polydisperse polymer blends with strong interaction

A statistical thermodynamics theory of polydisperse polymer mixtures with strong interaction between dissimilar components based on a lattice fluid model is formulated. Expressions for the free energy, equation of state, phase stability and spinodal for a polydisperse, binary polymer mixture with strong interaction are derived.     

实际量子密钥分配扩展BB84协议窃听下的安全性分析

考虑强衰减激光脉冲技术实现的准单光子源和量子信道损耗以及窃听者Eve窃听能力有限等实际情况, 提出了一种窃听装置;同时对扩展BB84协议的各种窃听做了全面分析,计算得出发送者Alice/窃听者Eve所获得的交互信息量和发送者Alice/接收者Bob所能容忍的误码率上限,以此作为检测量子信道安全性的标准,同时得出Breidbart基/分束攻击相结合的方法是比截取/重发更为有效的窃听方案.

Positron Annihilation Study on the Thermal Fatigue in a Die Steel

Samples of 5Cr2NiMoVSi die steel which underwent thermal fatigue with different fatigue cycles have been studied by using microhardness and positron lifetime measurements. It is found that the microhardness and the positron lifetime parameters increase and decrease alternatively with increasing the number of the fatigue cycles. The experimental results reveal that the fatigue strain, the dynamical recovery, and recrystallization and the precipitation are main causes of variation of the defects in the process of thermal fatigue.

Positron lifetime study in BaTiO3 ceramics with different Ba/Ti ratios

The positron lifetime spectra in 0.25 at.% La-doped BaTiO₃ with different Ba/Ti ratios have been measured at room temperature. It was found from the experiments that with deviating from exact stoichiometry the positron lifetime τ₂ decreases and the intensity I₂ increases for Ba/Ti ratio smaller than stoichiometric and they have more significantly similar changes for Ba/Ti ratio larger than stoichiometric. The non-monotonic dependence of positron lifetime parameters on Ba/Ti ratio is regarded as that the τ₂ component is contributed together by positrons annihilating at the grain boundaries and Ba vacancies and/or Ti vacancies, and small deviations from exact stoichiometry would be expected to increase the concentration of defects such as Ba vacancies for Ba/Ti < and Ti vacancies for Ba/Ti > 1.
