Nanoscale metal‐organic frameworks (NMOFs) have attracted increasing attention for biomedical applications due to their large specific surface area, good biocompatibility, adjustable structures, and diverse functions. By choosing appropriate metal ions and ligands, NMOFs can be synthesized and regulated to assist the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, acting as imaging agents, drug carriers, and cancer therapeutic agents. This review summarizes the recent advances of NMOFs in synthesis, biocompatibility, imaging, and applications in cancer therapies. Among these, the term “biocompatibility” is used to outline their various biological characteristics, and it is mainly discussed from the aspects of size and surface properties of NMOFs. The imaging section mainly emphasizes the application advantages of NMOFs as imaging agents in magnetic resonance, computed tomography, and fluorescence imaging. The applications of NMOFs in four cancer therapies, including phototherapy, radiotherapy, microwave therapy, and ultrasonic therapy, are addressed, especially for thermal and dynamic therapy. Within Mobile VCE, a team of several leading U.K. universities, in dose association with major manufacturers and international telecom operators from the mobile industry, have been addressing the challenging task of designing transceiver structures for beyond 3G networks. Innovative approaches led to a plethora of cross-layer optimized technologies of low complexity and high robustness, allowing for the much promised multimedia-centric services over future wireless networks. This article presents a comprehensive overview of the research conducted within Mobile VCE's Core Wireless Access Research Programme, a key focus of which has naturally been on MIMO transceivers. The series of articles offers a coherent view of how the work was structured and comprises a compilation of material that has been presented in detail elsewhere (see references within the article). In this article, the first of four, MIMO channel measurements, analysis, and modeling are presented, which were then utilized to develop compact and distributed antenna arrays. Parallel activities led to research into low-complexity MIMO single-user space-time coding techniques, as well as SISO and MIMO multi-user CDMA-based transceivers for B3G systems. Flexible ferroelectric field effect transistors (FeFETs) with multiple functionalities and tunable properties are attractive for low power sensing, nonvolatile data storage, as well as emerging memristor applications such as artificial synapses, though the state‐of‐art flexible FeFETs based on organic materials possess low polarization, large coercivity, and high operating voltage, and suffer from poor thermal stability. Here, developed is an all‐inorganic flexible FeFET based on epitaxial Pb(Zr0.1Ti0.9)O3/ZnO heterostructure on a mica substrate, which not only operates under a small voltage (±6 V) and thus consumes low power with an excellent on/off ratio of 104 as well as retention characteristics, but also shows robust FeFET performance under large bending deformation (4 mm), extended bending cycling (500 cycles), and high temperature operation at 200 °C. Importantly, the FeFET characteristics depend on temperature, but not on temperature history, critical for operation under repeated thermal loading. The excellent mechanical flexibility and functional robustness of the flexible FeFET originate from the unique van der Waals bonded layer structure of mica, facilitating a small bending radius yet modest strain. This work demonstrates the great promise of mica as a universal platform to integrate complicated functional devices for flexible electronics, especially under harsh environment. 相似文献

It is shown that in an open Λ-type system with spontaneously generated coherence, the transient evolution rule of the gain of lasing without inversion (LWI) is very sensitive to variation of the relative phase φ between the probe and driving fields; the variety of the atomic exit rateγ_0 and the ratio C of the atomic injection rates also have a considerable effect on the phase-dependent transient evolution rule of LWI gain. We find that whenφ=0, the transient and stationary LWI gain increases with C increasing but decreases with γ_0 increasing; whenφ≠0 , the effect of C andγ_0 on LWI gain is just opposite to that when φ=0 ; in order to get the largest transient and stationary LWI gain, we need selecting suitable values of φ,γ_0 and C. 相似文献

In this paper, we give an ever wider and new class of minimax estimators for the location vector of an elliptical distribution (a scale mixture of normal densities) with an unknown scale parameter. The its application to variance reduction for Monte Carlo simulation when control variates are used is considered.
