A novel renewable resource based tri-functional epoxy resin from itaconic acid (TEIA) was blended with petroleum based epoxy resin (DGEBA) and fabricated at different ratios. Then, it was by thermally cured with methylhexahydrophthalic anhydride (MHHPA) in presence of 2-methylimidazole (2-MI) catalyst. The tensile, modulus, strength of virgin epoxy resin (41.97 MPa, 2222 MPa) increased to 47.59 MPa, 2515 MPa, respectively, with the addition of 30% of TEIA. The fracture toughness parameter, critical stress intensity factor (KIC) revealed enhancement of toughness in the TEIA bio-based blends system. The thermomechanical properties of TEIA (tri-functional epoxy resin from itaconic acid) modified petroleum-epoxy networks were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). Optimizing the current distribution of an evenly spaced antenna array has shown to be an efficient approach for reducing side lobe levels. In this article, the Tchebyscheff distribution-based antenna array synthesis approach is combined with an adaptive signal processing algorithm for beamforming and side lobe level reduction in smart antennas in various fading situations. The performance of smart antennas in uniformly spaced linear, planar, circular, and semi-circular arrays are evaluated. The presence of Rayleigh and Rician channels is examined in the network. The least mean square (LMS) and normalised least mean square (NLMS) algorithms are applied as adaptive algorithms. In fading environments, the NLMS algorithm with Tchebyscheff distribution outperforms than the LMS algorithm with Tchebyscheff distribution, with a side lobe level decrease of 11.23 dB. The lowest side lobe achieved with the NLMS algorithm with Tchebyscheff distribution is???45.59 dB for uniform planar array.
Today’s era is the era of smart and remote applications exploiting advancement in sensors, cloud, Internet of things etc. Major application is in healthcare monitoring and support using wireless body area network (WBAN) in which sensor nodes sense vital physiological parameters and send to server through sink i.e. smart phone nowadays for seamless monitoring. The most significant issue in such applications is energy efficiency which leads to enhanced network life time that ensures uninterrupted seamless services. From source to sink data transmission may occur considering three different scenarios: source to sink single hop direct data transmission irrespective of in-between node distance, source to sink multi hop data transmission in which transmission range of source node is fixed at a threshold to find next forwarder node and transmission range of source node is incremented by affixed value until data gets transmitted to sink. In this work WBAN having different network configurations based on fixed or random positions of nodes have been simulated. Different scenarios with fixed and varying number of nodes are framed and simulated using MATLAB 2020a for performance evaluation of proposed algorithm in terms of energy consumption, network lifetime, path loss etc. due to data transmission from source to sink. Experimental results show that incremental approach is better than direct one in terms of energy consumption, path loss and network lifetime. While selecting transmission range of a source node, it is considered to keep Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) lower to reduce impact on human tissue.

With the advent of planar photonic bandgap (PBG) materials different topologies of PBG structures have been proposed to improve the bandpass and band rejection performances of microwave signals. Conventional circular patterned PBGs have constraints in the broadband performance due to the high ripple heights in S-parameters. In this paper, we suggest two novel configurations with non-uniform dimensions of circular patterned PBG to improve the stopband bandwidth and the ripples. The dimensions of the circles are varied proportionally to the Binomial and Shebyshev polynomial distributions. The S-parameter performances with respect to frequencies have been presented. It is seen that Shebyshev distribution produce excellent performances by suppressing ripples and generating sharp cut-offs. 相似文献
A laminar steady-state 2D axisymmetric model of a direct current (DC) thermal plasma torch using a magneto-hydrodynamic approach has been developed. The model takes into account the entire torch system comprising the plasma gas injection, the inner region of the torch, and the jet exiting into the ambient environment. Numerical results are obtained for two different power inputs chosen from published experimental data. The temperature predictions at the torch exit are found in good agreement with experimental results. Velocity analysis of the plasma jet has been presented and the impact of electromagnetic force on jet velocity is analysed. The Lorentz force arising due to the coupling of fluid motion and electromagnetic forces shoots up the jet velocity to significantly high values near the cathode tip. Temperature and velocity profiles are in good agreement with the characteristics of a long laminar plasma jet. An operating value of heat transfer coefficient (h) has been suggested for optimal torch operation, thus ensuring a low anode erosion rate and acceptable thermal efficiency. The argon torch has the maximum temperature and longest jet length among the plasma gases considered. 相似文献
The kinetics of the interaction of glycine-l-leucine (Glyleu) with cis-[Pt(cis-dach)(OH2)2]2+ (dach = 1,2-diaminocyclohexane) has been studied spectrophotometrically as a function of [cis-[Pt(cis-dach)(OH2)2]2+], [Glyleu] and temperature at pH 4.0, where the complex exists predominantly as the diaqua species and Glyleu as a zwitterion.
The substitution reaction shows two consecutive steps: the first is the ligand-assisted anation and the second is the chelation
step. The activation parameters for both the steps were evaluated using Eyring’s equation. The low ∆H1≠ (51.9 ± 2.8 kJmol−1) and large negative value of ∆S1≠ (−152 ± 8 JK−1mol−1) as well as ∆H2≠ (54.4 ± 1.7 kJmol−1) and ∆S2≠ (−162 ± 5 JK−1mol−1) indicate an associative mode of activation for both the aqua ligand substitution processes. 相似文献

reaction proceeds via a rapid outer sphere association complex formation step followed by two consecutive steps. The first
of these involves ligand-assisted anation, while the second involves chelation as the second aqua ligand is displaced. The
association equilibrium constant for the outer sphere complex formation has been evaluated together with the rate constants
for the two subsequent steps. The activation parameters for both steps have been evaluated using Eyring’s equation. Thermodynamic
parameters calculated from the temperature dependence of the outer sphere association equilibrium constants are also consistent
with an associative mode of activation. The product of the reaction has been characterized by conductivity measurement and

The interaction of thiosemicarbazide with the title complex has been studied spectrophotometrically in aqueous medium as a
function of [complex], [thiosemicarbazide], pH and temperature at constant ionic strength. At pH 7.4, the reaction shows two
distinct paths; both of which are [thiosemicarbazide] dependent. A parallel reaction scheme fits well with the experimental
findings. An associative interchange mechanism is proposed for both the paths; the activation parameters calculated from Eyring
plots are ΔH1≠ = 14.2 ± 0.8 kJ mol−1, ΔS1≠ = −241 ± 2 JK−1 mol−1, ΔH2≠ = 30.8 ± 1.4 kJ mol−1 and ΔS2≠ = −236 ± 4 JK−1 mol−1. From the temperature dependence of the outer sphere association complex equilibrium constants, the thermodynamic parameters
calculated are ΔH1° = 34.25 ± 1.9 kJ mol−1, ΔS1° = 146 ± 6 J K−1 mol−1 and ΔH2° = 9.4 ± 1.1 kJ mol−1, ΔS2° = 71 ± 3 JK−1 mol−1, which gives a negative ΔG° at all temperatures studied, supporting the spontaneous formation of an outer sphere association
