A new class of bis heterocycles‐benzimidazolyl pyrazoles were prepared from the Michael acceptor (E)‐3‐(1H‐benzimidazol‐2‐yl)‐1‐aryl‐prop‐2‐en‐1‐one. The thiamide group was exploited to develop thiazole ring on treatment with p‐fluorophenacyl bromide to get tris heterocycles. All the lead compounds were tested for antimicrobial activity. The compound 7d having nitro substituent on the aromatic ring showed greater antimicrobial activity particularly against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Penicillium chrysogenum. 相似文献

A simpler cost-effective method for the isolation of magnetically separable ‘self-doped iron oxide nanocarbons’ (FeO-NC) from waste printer ink (used as a carbon source material which is available free of cost) is discussed here. The process involves carbonization of waste printer ink in a muffle furnace at ~600 °C to obtain FeO-NC. The as-prepared FeO-NC has been investigated as an efficient heterogeneous catalyst for the long-known important organic reaction involving transformation of styrene to benzaldehyde in a quantitative yield (~70%). Importantly, FeO-NC were magnetically separable along with good recyclability, which supports the sustainability of reported process. 相似文献

Titanium dioxide nanoparticles were prepared by a electrochemical reduction method using para-meters such as current density, solvent polarity, distance between electrodes, and concentration of stabilizers to control the size of the nanoparticles. An attempt has been made to enhance the photocatalytic activity of zinc oxide semiconductor by coating it with extracts of natural pigments, chlorophyll and anthocyanin. Coated photocatalyst has been used for the photobleaching of rose bengal dye. Progress of the reaction has been monitored spectrophotometrically by measuring absorbance of the reaction mixture at definite time intervals. The effect of variation of different parameters such as pH, concentration of dye, amount of semiconductor and light intensity on the rate of photobleaching was also observed.
