The one-electron oxidation of Mitomycin C (MMC) as well as the formation of the corresponding peroxyl radicals were investigated by both steady-state and pulse radiolysis. The steady-state MMC-radiolysis by OH-attack followed at both absorption bands showed different yields: at 218 nm Gi (-MMC) = 3.0 and at 364 nm Gi (-MMC) = 3.9, indicating the formation of various not yet identified products, among which ammonia was determined, G(NH3) = 0.81. By means of pulse radiolysis it was established a total κ (OH + MMC) = (5.8 ± 0.2) × 109 dm3 mol−1 s−1. The transient absorption spectrum from the one-electron oxidized MMC showed absorption maxima at 295 nm (ε = 9950 dm3 mol−1 cmt-1), 410 nm (ε = 1450 dm3 mol−1 cm−1) and 505 nm ( ε = 5420 dm3 mol−1 cm−1). At 280–320 and 505 nm and above they exhibit in the first 150 μs a first order decay, κ1 = (0.85 ± 0.1) × 103 s−1, and followed upto ms time range, by a second order decay, 2κ = (1.3 ± 0.3) × 108 dm3 mol-1 s−1. Around 410 nm the kinetics are rather mixed and could not be resolved.

The steady-state MMC-radiolysis in the presence of oxygen featured a proportionality towards the absorbed dose for both MMC-absorption bands, resulting in a Gi (-MMC) = 1.5. Among several products ammonia-yield was determined G(NH3) = 0.52. The formation of MMC-peroxyl radicals was studied by pulse radiolysis, likewise in neutral aqueous solution, but saturated with a gas mixture of 80% N2O and 20% O2. The maxima of the observed transient spectrum are slightly shifted compared to that of the one-electron oxidized MMC-species, namely: 290 nm (ε = 10100 dm3 mol−1 cm−1), 410 nm (ε = 2900 dm3 mol−1 cm−1) and 520 nm (ε = 5500 dm3 mol−1 cm−1). The O2-addition to the MMC-one-electron oxidized transients was found to be at 290 to 410 nm gk(MMC·OH + O2) = 5 × 107 dm3 mol−1 s−1, around 480 nm κ = 1.6 × 108 dm3 mol−1 s−1 and at 510 nm and above, κ = 3 × 108 dm3 mol−1 s−1. The decay kinetics of the MMC-peroxyl radicals were also found to be different at the various absorption bands, but predominantly of first order; at 290–420 nm κ1 = 1.5 × 103 s−1 and at 500 nm and above, κ = 7.0 × 103 s−1.

The presented results are of interest for the radiation behaviour of MMC as well as for its application as an antitumor drug in the combined radiation-chemotherapy of patients.  相似文献

Smoke flavourings are produced on a large scale and have been applied to a variety of food products for more than 30 years. The use of them has many advantages compared to traditional smoking techniques. Among others, the amount of (known) toxic compounds deriving from combustion processes can be more easily controlled in smoke flavourings. In order to ensure safe products, a new European Regulation requests data on the composition and lays down, in particular, the maximum permitted concentrations for selected polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). This review compiles results published on the chemical composition of liquid smoke flavouring primary products, partly in relation to production process parameters, and the analytical methods involved. The methods cover chromatographic techniques for analysis of specific compounds including extraction methods and clean-up procedures. Analysis of sensorial and bulk parameters such as acidity and total phenolic compounds are described as well as they are used as standard methods for analysis of liquid smoke flavourings. A special section is devoted to discussing the analysis of PAHs.  相似文献

The concept of numerical Kekulé structures is used for coding and ordering geometrical (standard) Kekulé structures of several classes of polycyclic conjugated molecules: catacondensed, pericondensed, and fully arenoid benzenoid hydrocarbons, thioarenoids, and [N]phenylenes. It is pointed out that the numerical Kekulé structures can be obtained for any class of polycyclic conjugated systems that possesses standard Kekulé structures. The reconstruction of standard Kekulé structures from the numerical ones is straightforward for catacondensed systems, but this is not so for pericondensed benzenoid hydrocarbons. In this latter case, one needs to use two codes to recover the geometrical Kekulé structures: the Wiswesser code for the benzenoid and the numerical code for its Kekulé structure. There is an additional problem with pericondensed benzenoid hydrocarbons; there appear numerical Kekulé structures that correspond to two (or more) geometrical Kekulé structures. Summary An automated continuous monitoring method for total mercury at sub-ppb level based on cold vapor atomic-absorption-continuous micro flow analysis is developed. The method uses continuous micro flow sample partial digestion, reduction and extraction in small bore tubes at low flow rates of reagents. Tin(II) chloride in sodium hydroxide solution was used as a reducing reagent. A mixed solution of potassium peroxodisulphate and copper(II) ion was used as oxidizing and catalytic reagent, respectively. The method was successfully applied to the completely continuous monitoring of total mercury in both wastewater and saline water without a heating digestion bath.

Summary. The reaction of RuTp(COD)Cl (1) with PPh2Pri and terminal alkynes HCCR (R=C6H5, C4H3S, C6H4OMe, Fc, C6H4Fc, C6H9) affords the neutral vinylidene complexes RuTp(PPh2Pri) (Cl)(=C=CHR) (2a2f) in high yields. These complexes do not react with MeOH to give methoxy carbene complexes of the type RuTp(PPh2Pri)(Cl)(=C(OMe)CH2R), but react with oxygen to yield the CO complex RuTp(PPh2R)(Cl)(CO) (3). The structures of 2b, 2f, and 3 have been determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

The electrochemical behavior of arrays of Au nanoparticles assembled on Au electrodes modified by 11-mercaptoundecanoic acid (MUA) and poly-L-lysine (PLYS) was investigated as a function of the particle number density. The self-assembled MUA and PLYS layers formed compact ultrathin films with a low density of defects as examined by scanning tunneling microscopy. The electrostatic adsorption of Au particles of 19 +/- 3 nm on the PLYS layer resulted in randomly distributed arrays in which the particle number density is controlled by the adsorption time. In the absence of the nanoparticles, the dynamics of electron transfer involving the hexacynoferrate redox couple is strongly hindered by the self-assembled film. This effect is primarily associated with a decrease in the electron tunneling probability as the redox couple cannot permeate through the MUA monolayer at the electrode surface. Adsorption of the Au nanoparticles dramatically affects the electron-transfer dynamics even at low particle number density. Cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy were interpreted in terms of classical models developed for partially blocked surfaces. The analysis shows that the electron transfer across a single particle exhibits the same phenomenological rate constant of electron transfer as for a clean Au surface. The apparent unhindered electron exchange between the nanoparticles and the electrode surface is discussed in terms of established models for electron tunneling across metal-insulator-metal junctions.  相似文献

Multilayers of various phospholipids on silicon substrates are used to induce spontaneous embedding of nanoparticles deposited from the gas phase. The resulting nanoparticle arrangement on the substrate surface is characterized using atomic force and scanning electron microscopy. In the intermediate phase and the liquid crystalline phase of the lipid, a monolayer is formed around individual nanoparticles which leads to an increase in interparticle distances. At the same time, the molecular mobility of the multilayers allows for self-assembly of the particles in regular two-dimensional arrangements.  相似文献

Spectroscopic imaging techniques provide spatial and spectral information about a sample simultaneously and are finding ever-increasing application in the pharmaceutical industry. Effective extraction of chemical information from imaging data sets is a crucial step during the application of imaging techniques. Multivariate imaging data analysis methods have been reported but few applications of these methods for pharmaceutical samples have been demonstrated. In this study, a bilayer model tablet consisting of avicel, lactose, sodium benzoate, magnesium stearate and red dye was prepared using custom press tooling, and Raman mapping data were collected from a 400 μm × 400 μm area of the tablet surface. Several representative multivariate methods were selected and used in the analysis of the data. Multivariate data analysis methods investigated include principal component analysis (PCA), cluster analysis, direct classical least squares (DCLS) and multivariate curve resolution (MCR). The relative merits and drawbacks of each technique for this application were evaluated. In addition, some practical issues associated with the use of these methods were addressed including data preprocessing, determination of the optimal number of clusters in cluster analysis and the optimization of window size in second derivative calculation.  相似文献

A series of 7-substituted 1-ethyl-6-fluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxoquinoline-3-carboxylic acids were prepared from 1-ethyl-6,7-difluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid 8 . Those derivatives reported contain acyclic and heterocyclic substituents linked to the quinolone C-7 position via O, NH or S. The in vitro antibacterial data of some of these derivatives against 4 Gram positive and 4 Gram negative organisms are reported.  相似文献

Rearrangements of 5-acetyl-3-benzoylamino-6-(2-dimethylamino-1-ethenyl)-2H-pyran-2-one ( 1 ) and 3-benzoylamino-6-(2-dimethylamino-1-ethenyl)-5-ethoxycarbonyl-2H-pyran-2-one ( 7 ) in the presence of N-nucleophiles, such as ammonia, hydrazine, and hydroxylamine, into 1-aminopyridine, pyrano[2,3-b]-pyridine, and isoxazole derivatives 5, 11 , and 15 is described.
