Two‐microphone binary mask speech enhancement (2mBMSE) has been of particular interest in recent literature and has shown promising results. Current 2mBMSE systems rely on spatial cues of speech and noise sources. Although these cues are helpful for directional noise sources, they lose their efficiency in diffuse noise fields. We propose a new system that is effective in both directional and diffuse noise conditions. The system exploits two features. The first determines whether a given time–frequency (T‐F) unit of the input spectrum is dominated by a diffuse or directional source. A diffuse signal is certainly a noise signal, but a directional signal could correspond to a noise or speech source. The second feature discriminates between T‐F units dominated by speech or directional noise signals. Speech enhancement is performed using a binary mask, calculated based on the proposed features. In both directional and diffuse noise fields, the proposed system segregates speech T‐F units with hit rates above 85%. It outperforms previous solutions in terms of signal‐to‐noise ratio and perceptual evaluation of speech quality improvement, especially in diffuse noise conditions.  相似文献

The partitioning of three amino acids, L-phenylalanine, L-tryptophan and L-tyrosine, has been studied in surfactant-based aqueous two-phase systems (ATPS) of Triton X-100 + salts + H2O at 298.15 K. Sodium citrate as an organic salt and magnesium sulfate as an inorganic salt were used to prepare the ATP systems. The effects of tie-line length and salt type on the partitioning of amino acids have been discussed. The results show that the partitioning behavior of the amino acids in the systems containing MgSO4 and Na3C6H5O7 are significantly different, because increasing the tie-line length in MgSO4 solutions leads to a decrease of the partition coefficient, whereas the opposite trend is found in Na3C6H5O7 solutions.  相似文献

The complexation reactions of 4′-nitrobenzo-15-crown-5 (4′NB15C5) with Zn2+, Mn2+, Cr3+ and Sn4+ cations were studied in acetonitrile–ethanol (AN–EtOH) binary solvent mixtures at different temperatures by the electrical conductometry method. The stability constants of the resulting 1:1 complexes were determined from computer fitting of the conductance versus mole ratio data. The results show that the selectivity order of 4′NB15C5 for the metal cations in the AN–EtOH (mol-%AN=76) binary solvent at 298.15 K is: Cr3+>Mn2+≈Zn2+>Sn4+, but the selectivity order changes with the composition of the mixed solvents. A nonlinear relationship was observed between the stability constants (log 10 K f) of these complexes and the composition of the AN–EtOH binary solvents. The corresponding thermodynamic parameters (DHco, DSco)(\Delta H_{\mathrm{c}}^{\mathrm{o}}, \Delta S_{\mathrm{c}}^{\mathrm{o}}) were obtained from the temperature dependence of the stability constants using van’t Hoff plots. The results show that the values and also the sign of these parameters are influenced by the nature and composition of the mixed solvents.  相似文献

This paper studies a joint optimization problem of sub‐carrier assignment and power allocation in orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) wireless networks. A major challenge in solving the optimization problem is non‐convexity caused by the combinatorial nature of sub‐carrier assignment problem and/or non‐convex objective functions. To address the combinatorial complexity, we formulate the resource allocation problem as an optimization problem with continuous variables. We propose a novel approach based on a penalty function method and an interior point method (PM/IPM) to solve the problem. In specific, using a two‐step implementation, the penalty method is applied first to convert the non‐convex feasible region to a convex one. Then, the interior point method is deployed to solve the problem which is non‐convex only in the objective function. To evaluate the performance of PM/IPM, we apply a genetic algorithm (GA) that achieves near optimal solutions of the problem by iterative searching. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this research, we consider thermodynamically the behaviour of an accelerating BIon and show that the entropy of this system has the form of Tsallis entropy. A BIon is a system that consists of a brane, an anti-brane and a wormhole which connects them together. By increasing the acceleration of branes, the area of BIon increases and its Tsallis entropy grows.  相似文献

Silver oxide nano layers were prepared by RF magnetron sputtering on amorphous SiO2 substrates. O2 pressure in chamber was varied from 1 to 4 and 7 mTorr during growth process. The effects of different O2 pressure on structural, morphological and optical properties of the films were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy and UV–Vis spectroscopy analyses. Optical reflectance measured in the wavelength of 350–950 nm by spectroscopy. Other optical properties and optical band gaps were calculated using Kramers–Kronig relations. The X-ray diffraction measurements showed change in crystalline structure with increasing O2 pressure. Preferred orientation has been changed to another growth orientation at 4 mTorr O2 pressure. The Atomic force microscope images showed increasing in roughness consistently by increasing oxygen pressure. The thickness of the thin films decreases (from 217 to 180 nm) with increasing O2 pressure. Optical results revealed that the highest optical band gap of 3.1 eV and the highest transmittance of?~?80% were achieved at lower O2 pressure (1 mTorr).  相似文献

Cancer is among the most prominent causes of mortality worldwide. Different cancer therapy modes employed, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy, have been reported to be significant in cancer management, but the side effects associated with these treatment strategies are still a health problem. Therefore, alternative anticancer drugs based on medicinal plants or their active compounds have been generating attention because of their less serious side effects. Medicinal plants are an excellent source of phytochemicals that have been recognized to have health-prompting effects through modulating cell signaling pathways. Resveratrol is a well-known polyphenolic molecule with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and health-prompting effects among which its anticancer role has been best defined. Additionally, this polyphenol has confirmed its role in cancer management because it activates tumor suppressor genes, suppresses cell proliferation, induces apoptosis, inhibits angiogenesis, and modulates several other cell signaling molecules. The anticancer potential of resveratrol is recognized in numerous in vivo and in vitro studies. Previous experimental data suggested that resveratrol may be valuable in cancer management or improve the efficacy of drugs when given with anticancer drugs. This review emphasizes the potential role of resveratrol as an anticancer drug by modulating numerous cells signaling pathways in different types of cancer.  相似文献
