High‐tech markets are unpredictable owing to rapid technology innovation, diverse customer needs, high competition, and other elements. Many scholars have attempted to explain the uncertainty in high‐tech markets using their own various approaches. However, sufficiently clear ways to predict diverse changes and trends in high‐tech markets have yet to be presented. Thus, this paper proposes a new approach model, that is, systematic market segmentation, to give more accurate information. Using an empirical dataset from the mobile handset market in the Republic of Korea, we conduct our research model consisting of three steps. First, we categorize nine basic segments. Second, we test the stability of these segments. Finally, we profile the characteristics of the customers and products. We conclude that the approach is able to offer more diagnostic information to both practitioners and scholars. It is expected to provide rich information for an appropriate marketing mix in practice. 相似文献

In this study, several naphthalene tetracarboxylic acid diimide (NTCDI) derivatives substituted at the N and N′ positions with long normal alkyl chains of different lengths were evaluated as soluble n-type organic thin-film transistor (TFT) materials. NTCDI derivatives with diundecyl (NTCDI-C11), didodecyl (NTCDI-C12), and ditridecyl (NTCDI-C13) exhibited acceptable solubility in chloroform, and their TFTs showed typical n-type TFT performance with relatively high field effect electron mobility (~0.2 cm2/V s) after annealing at a workable temperature of 150 °C. Although NTCDI with dioctyl (NTCDI-C8) showed good solubility in chloroform, the TFT performance of this material was highly inferior to that of NTCDI-C11, NTCDI-C12, or NTCDI-C13. We could not anneal NTCDI-C8 thin films at workable temperatures in vacuo because of sublimation of the material from the substrates. In contrast, NTCDI with dipentadecyl (NTCDI-C15) and dioctadecyl (NTCDI-C18) exhibited both poor solubility for chloroform and poor TFT performance. In short, these compounds are not suitable as soluble n-type organic TFT materials. 相似文献

Abstract Dynamical simulation of orientation texture evolution of a polymeric liquid crystal under simple shear flow has been carried out. The Leslie-Ericksen equation was numerically solved to obtain three dimensional orientation over the shear plane spanned by the flow (x) and thickenss (y) axes. The present study shows a cascade of complex orientation texture evolutions as a function of the Ericksen number (E) during shear flow starting from a near perfect monodomain condition. When E2>E>E1, directors in the middle gap region twist out of the shear plane in a uniform sense. When E3>E>E2, the twist sense is not of the same sign, but alternating along the flow axis. When E4>E>E3, the middle orientation wall of the alternating twist sense divides into a pair, which migrate towards the bounding plates, forming a series of tubular orientation walls. When E>E4, the tubular orientation walls still form, but through a reentrant two-dimensional in-shear-plane state. 相似文献

Three different N-doped ordered porous carbons (CNx) were produced by a nanocasting process using polyaniline as the carbon and nitrogen precursor. A pyrolysis treatment of iron chloride-impregnated CNx under nitrogen is used in the preparation of the carbon composite catalysts, and this is followed by posttreatments and optimization of the iron loading and the pore size. Exploration of the catalytic activity of the CNx products for catalyzing the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) using rotating disk electrode measurements and single-cell tests shows that the onset potential for ORR of the most effective catalyst in 0.5 M H2SO4 is as high as 0.9 V vs. the normal hydrogen electrode. A proton exchange membrane fuel cell constructed with the catalyst exhibits a current density as high as 0.52 A cm?2 at 0.6 V with 2 atm back pressure using a cathode catalyst loading of 6 mg cm?2. The average pore diameters of synthesized CNx-12, CNx-15, and CNx-16 are 0.7, 4.3, and 14 nm, respectively. It is observed that the pore size and specific surface area are an important factor for increased catalyst activity. The pore size of the most effective catalysts is found to be 4.3 nm. 相似文献

We report the use of a widely tunable detuned dual‐mode laser diode (DML) as a compact and portable continuous‐wave THz emitter. The wavelength difference between the two lasing modes of this DML can be tuned from 2.4 nm to 9.3 nm by using integrated microheaters. The power difference between these modes is less than 1 dB, and the side‐mode suppression ratio is greater than 30 dB over the entire tuning range. 相似文献

In the present study, the effects of interference from combined noises on speech transmission were investigated in a simulated open public space. Sound fields for dominant noises were predicted using a typical urban square model surrounded by buildings. Then road traffic noise and two types of construction noises, corresponding to stationary and impulsive noises, were selected as background noises. Listening tests were performed on a group of adults, and the quality of speech transmission was evaluated using listening difficulty as well as intelligibility scores. During the listening tests, two factors that affect speech transmission performance were considered: (1) temporal characteristics of construction noise (stationary or impulsive) and (2) the levels of the construction and road traffic noises. The results indicated that word intelligibility scores and listening difficulty ratings were affected by the temporal characteristics of construction noise due to fluctuations in the background noise level. It was also observed that listening difficulty is unable to describe the speech transmission in noisy open public spaces showing larger variation than did word intelligibility scores. 相似文献

Combining extensive single particle tracking microscopy data of endogenous lipid granules in living fission yeast cells with analytical results we show evidence for anomalous diffusion and weak ergodicity breaking. Namely we demonstrate that at short times the granules perform subdiffusion according to the laws of continuous time random walk theory. The associated violation of ergodicity leads to a characteristic turnover between two scaling regimes of the time averaged mean squared displacement. At longer times the granule motion is consistent with fractional Brownian motion. 相似文献

We demonstrate the feasibility of a novel and nonionizing process for bladder imaging in vivo, called photoacoustic cystography (PAC). Using a photoacoustic imaging system, we have successfully imaged a rat bladder filled with clinically used Methylene Blue (MB) dye. An image contrast of ~8 was achieved. Further, spectroscopic PAC confirmed the accumulation of MB in the bladder. Using a laser pulse energy of less than 1 mJ/cm2 (1/20 of the ANSI safety limit), a deeply (1.2 cm) positioned bladder in biological tissues was clearly visible in the PA image. Our results suggest that PAC can potentially provide a nonionizing, relatively cheap, and portable tool for bladder mapping. Among our clinical interests, nonionizing PAC with an injection of MB can potentially monitor vesicoureteral reflux in children. 相似文献

Based on our previous work on the differential geometry for the closed string double field theory, we construct a Yang-Mills action which is covariant under O(D,D) T-duality rotation and invariant under three-types of gauge transformations: non-Abelian Yang-Mills, diffeomorphism and one-form gauge symmetries. In double field formulation, in a manifestly covariant manner our action couples a single O(D,D) vector potential to the closed string double field theory. In terms of undoubled component fields, it couples a usual Yang-Mills gauge field to an additional one-form field and also to the closed string background fields which consist of a dilaton, graviton and a two-form gauge field. Our resulting action resembles a twisted Yang-Mills action. 相似文献
