Poly(chloropropyl-methyl)silsesquioxanes (PCMSQ) were prepared using the base catalyzed sol–gel processing on methyltrimethoxysilane (MTMS) and 3-chloropropyltriethoxysilane (CPTES) with 5:5, 6:4, and 7:3 molar ratios in methanol and water. The PCMSQ with 6:4 molar ratio of MTMS:CPTES, which has the maximum yield, according to the elemental analysis, was chosen and some chlorine atoms of the chloropropyl groups were changed to different amines by refluxing it with ethylenediamine (en), diethylenetriamine (dien), ortho-phenylenediamine (opda), and 2-imidazolidinethion (imt). The amine grafted PCMSQ were then used to support MoO2(acac)2 complex and dien grafted PCMSQ with higher metal content was applied to the epoxidation of cis-cyclooctene with TBHP. The product yields were studied by gas liquid chromatography and the catalytic procedure was optimized for the parameters involved such as the solvent and oxidant. The catalytic activity of this catalyst also was investigated toward epoxidation of some other alkenes. It was also applied to check its reuse ability.
In this research, micro-spherical poly-organo-silsesquioxane was prepared using the base catalyzed sol–gel processing of methyltrimethoxysilane and 3-chloropropyltriethoxysilane with different molar ratios. The sample which has the maximum yield, was used to graft MoO2(acac)2 and for the successful anchoring, some chlorine atoms of the chloropropyl side groups were changed to amines. Then the prepared catalyst with higher molybdenum content was used for the epoxidation of cis-cyclooctene and some other alkenes with TBHP.

A facile and practically applied protocol for synthesis of benzil derivatives using styrene and arene diazonium salts is reported. Pd(OAc)2/SeO2 catalytic system was found to be efficient for chemoselective synthesis of benzil. Selenium dioxide works well as an oxidant under milder reaction conditions. Moderate to very good yields of the desired products were obtained.  相似文献

Atisane‐type diterpenoids are the principal constituent of tetracyclic C20‐diterpenoids, widely isolated from the plant kingdom with varying degrees of structural complexity and pharmacological activity. The tetracarbocyclic system with the unique bicyclo[2.2.2]octane skeleton of this natural product family has generated interest within the synthetic community. Divergent total synthesis is an effective tactic to synthesize several atisane‐type diterpenoids using structural interconversion from a common intermediate. We study Lusztig?s t-analog of weight multiplicities, or affine Kostka–Foulkes polynomials, associated to level one representations of twisted affine Kac–Moody algebras. We obtain an explicit closed form expression for the unique t-string function, using constant term identities of Macdonald and Cherednik. This extends previous work on t-string functions for the untwisted simply-laced affine Kac–Moody algebras.  相似文献

A simple and convenient methodology for selective sulfonation of aromatic compounds using sulfuric acid under sonication is described. The present methodology shows a considerable enhancement in the reaction rate along with improved selectivity compared with the reactions performed under silent conditions. The effect of various parameters such as agitation speed, sulfuric acid concentration, and temperature on reaction system have been investigated and are explained on the basis of ultrasonically generated cavitational effects.  相似文献

Drop retraction methods are popular means of measuring the interfacial tension between immiscible polymers. Experiments show that two different drop retraction methods, imbedded fiber retraction (IFR) and deformed drop retraction (DDR), give inconsistent results when a surfactant is present on the surface of the drop. These inconsistencies are deemed to be due to dilution of the surfactant and due to gradients in interfacial concentration of surfactant along the drop surface. This physical picture is quantified for the simple case of a Newtonian drop in a Newtonian matrix, with an insoluble, nondiffusive surfactant at the interface. The drop is deformed in computational fluid dynamics simulations by shearing the matrix, and then allowed to retract. Dilution and interfacial tension gradients effects are found to be especially large at the early stages of retraction, making IFR unsuitable for measuring the interfacial tension of surfactant-laden interfaces. The effects of surfactant dilution and gradients are found to persist even at late stages of retraction, causing the DDR method to underestimate the equilibrium interfacial tension significantly. The largest underestimates occur when the drop viscosity is lower than the matrix viscosity.  相似文献

Breaking news: A unique discontinuous property and an active phase of Ni/ordered Ce(2) Zr(2) O(x) (x=7-8) solid-solution catalysts were observed during methane steam reforming.
