Cancer-based magnetic theranostics has gained significant interest in recent years and can contribute as an influential archetype in the effective treatment of cancer. Owing to their excellent biocompatibility, minute sizes and reactive functional surface groups, magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) are being explored as potential drug delivery systems. In this study, MgFe2O4 ferrite MNPs were evaluated for their potential to augment the delivery of the anticancer drug doxorubicin (DOX). These MNPs were successfully synthesized by the glycol-thermal method and functionalized with the polymers; chitosan (CHI), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polyethylene glycol (PEG), respectively, as confirmed by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. X-ray diffraction (XRD) confirmed the formation of the single-phase cubic spinel structures while vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) analysis confirmed the superparamagnetic properties of all MNPs. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA) revealed small, compact structures with good colloidal stability. CHI-MNPs had the highest DOX encapsulation (84.28%), with the PVA-MNPs recording the lowest encapsulation efficiency (59.49%). The 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5 diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT) cytotoxicity assays conducted in the human embryonic kidney (HEK293), colorectal adenocarcinoma (Caco-2), and breast adenocarcinoma (SKBR-3) cell lines showed that all the drug-free polymerized MNPs promoted cell survival, while the DOX loaded MNPs significantly reduced cell viability in a dose-dependent manner. The DOX-CHI-MNPs possessed superior anticancer activity (<40% cell viability), with approximately 85.86% of the drug released after 72 h in a pH-responsive manner. These MNPs have shown good potential in enhancing drug delivery, thus warranting further optimizations and investigations.  相似文献

Introduces a charge-based nonquasistatic large/small signal FET model that is extracted from measured small signal S-parameter and DC data and can be applied to an arbitrary three-terminal FET structure. The model is based on general physical principles, and provides consistent topologies for both large and small signal simulations to frequencies above ft and over a wide range of node voltages. The procedure for extracting model elements includes deembedding linear parasitic elements and extracting bicubic, B-spline functions, which represent large signal model elements. The spline coefficients are calculated using a constrained least squares fit to a set of small signal parameters and/or DC currents that have been measured at a number of node voltage values. Advantages of this approach include fast parameter extraction for new FET structures, accuracy, computational efficiency, charge conservation, and the requirement of only a single model for all simulation modes. The model can also be used to interface device simulators (e.g., PISCES) with circuit simulators for accurate predictive modeling  相似文献

We report the convenient synthesis of a pyrrole-functionalized tetracationic cyclophane, [2]rotaxane, and [2]catenane. X-ray crystallography has confirmed the interlocked structure of the catenane. We have investigated the solution properties of these systems using solution electrochemistry, NMR, and UV-vis spectroscopy. We have also demonstrated that it is possible to immobilize these systems onto a platinum working electrode surface. We have shown that films of the cyclophane have the ability to undergo complexation with a dialkyloxynaphthalene derivative.  相似文献

Manufacturing plays an increasingly important role in determining the competitiveness of the firm. However, corporate strategy is often formulated with little regard for how these decisions affect operations within the manufacturing system. Detailed models provide a necessary link between manufacturing performance and the functional policies followed by the firm, so that the strengths of the manufacturing system can be consistently reflected in strategic decisions.This paper presents a scheduling model that relates the strategic decisions that determine the type of work that must ultimately be processed by the manufacturing system with the detailed decisions that determine how this work should be scheduled. The model accounts for varying processing time, delay penalty, and revenue characteristics among the jobs available for processing by a single facility, with jobs partitioned in multiple classes such that a setup is incurred each time two jobs of different classes are processed in succession. Given limited processing capacity, the objective is to simultaneously determine the subset of jobs to accept for processing and the associated order in which accepted jobs should be sequenced to maximize the total profit realized by the facility. Problem formulations and dynamic programming algorithms are presented for both the special case in which all available work is from a single job class, and the more general case involving multiple job classes. The insight derived from these models concerning the operational implications of strategic decisions is illustrated through a series of example problems, first focusing on the coordination of marketing and manufacturing policy, and finally by considering important issues related to manufacturing focus.  相似文献

A solvent extraction system has been developed for the separation of172Lu from its long-lived172Hf parent. The parent-daughter pair in equilibrium is maintained in a solution of HDEHP, and the heavy lanthanide daughter is extracted into 9M HCl. The separation factor for this generator is approximately 104. The rare-earth activity so obtained is proposed for compound labelling research and animal biodistribution studies in nuclear medicine.  相似文献

It is shown that for a fixed , there are only finitely many equivalence classes of regular definite primitive quadratic forms over , regardless of the number of variables. Characterizations of those which are universal are also given.
