Twelve series of linear oligomers of four different degrees of polymerization (xn = 8.77−41.55), having a common perfluorinated random copolymeric chain as molecular body and two equal foreign end units of one of the types listed in Table 1, have been synthesized by derivatization of base samples of one of them having a diolic---CH2OH functionality. The glass transition temperature Tg of all the series was measured and thus examined as a function of xn. A clear end unit effect is observed, dominantly determined in every series by chemical nature and structure of the end units, quantitatively expressed at any xn by different positive or negative Tg deviations from the common asymptotic Tg value. The results are also discussed in terms of copolymer end effect and of relation between Tg and end copolymeric composition.  相似文献

The capability of gated saturable absorbers for single-pulse selection is studied theoretically using the classical space-time-dependent rate-equation model. The dynamics of operation is followed experimentally by the well-known pump—probe technique. Comparing the theoretical and experimental results, it is found that gated saturable absorbers can efficiently be used for pulse forming and pulse selection of pulses longer than picosecond.  相似文献

The applicability of differential electrolytic potentiometry as a detection system in flow injection analysis is investigated. A computer-controlled injector which delivers precise volumes of sample solutions in a reproducible manner was developed. Conditions such as current density employed, the concentrations of the solutions used and the flow rate were optimized. Chloride in water was determined by means of this system. The relation between chloride concentration and the measured signal was found to be Nernstian for solutions of concentrations above 6 μg ml−1 chloride. For solutions below this concentration, the relation is linear.  相似文献

The leakage and charge pumping currents were measured in gate-controlled MOS p-i-n diodes fabricated on thin SIMOX substrates. The efficiencies of the techniques as well as their complementary features are analyzed for various experimental conditions. The interface properties of device-grade SIMOX wafers are characterized and shown to be compatible with VLSI requirements. Special interface coupling effects, which occur only in fully depleted SOI devices and modify the conventional signature of charge pumping and leakage current, are thoroughly investigated  相似文献

The characterization of the clusters formed on alkaline hydrolysis of [PdCl4]2– was performed using17O,23Na,35Cl,133Cs NMR and UV spectroscopy. The chemical composition of the clusters was found to be [Pd(OH)2] n ·nNaCl. No mononuclear oxo- or hydroxocomplexes were detected. Two conformal finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) methods are considered, the contour path (CPFDTD) method of Jurgens et al. (see IEEE Trans. Antennas Propagat., vol.40, p.357, 1992) and the overlapping grid (OGFDTD) method of Yee et al. (see IEEE Trans. Antennas Propagat., vol.40, p.1068, 1992). Both TE and TM scattering from a two-dimensional (2-D), perfectly conducting circular cylinder are used to test the accuracy of the methods for curved surfaces. Also, TE and TM scattering from a 2-D, perfectly-conducting rotated square cylinder are used to test the accuracy for corners and edges. It is shown that the conformal method proposed by Yee et al. provide significant improvement in accuracy over the original FDTD algorithm for most of the geometries studied. However, implementation becomes more difficult as the geometries become more complex. The conformal method proposed by Jurgens et al. provide significant improvement in accuracy as well for most of the geometries studied. However, improvement does not occur for the TM case when the square cylinder is not aligned properly with the grid. Implementation of the CPFDTD method is relatively straightforward. For the majority of the cases studied, the OGFDTD method is more accurate than the CPFDTD method  相似文献

A novel class of narrow-band tunable wavelength filters is proposed and evaluated. Wavelength selectivity of the proposed filters Is derived from the finite time response of an optical nonlinearity. The nonlinearity is gain saturation in semiconductor optical amplifier structures. The filters are shown to have very narrow passbands tunable over the entire semiconductor gain bandwidth. The key to filter implementation is a device configuration in which the wave-mixing products can be isolated from the amplified inputs. Three integrated optics compatible configurations are considered and shown to have high filter throughputs 34 to 180% and subangstrom bandwidths  相似文献
