To develop efficient adsorbent materials for storage and separation of C2H2, an unprecedented supercage MOF, [Me2NH2]⋅[Zn3(ALP)(TDC)2.5]⋅3.5DMF⋅2 H2O ( 1 ) was constructed through medicinal molecule allopurinol (ALP) and S-containing 2,5-thiophenedicarboxylic acid (H2TDC). 1 contains a novel linear trinuclear cluster that is composed by ALP and carboxylates and forms a final uncommon 5-connected yfy topological framework. The framework possesses three types of interlinked cages decorated by rich functional sites, and reveals not only high adsorption capacity for C2H2 but also excellent selective separation for C2H2/CO2 and C2H2/CH4 at 298 K. Dynamic breakthrough experiments on C2H2/CO2 (1:1) mixture and C2H2/CH4 (1:1) mixture also demonstrated the potential of the material to separate C2H2 from CO2 or CH4 mixtures. Using Green's function method, we investigate the spin transport properties of armchair graphene nanoribbons (AG- NRs) under magnetic field and uniaxial strain. Our results show that it is very difficult to transform narrow AGNRs directly from semiconductor to spin gapless semiconductors (SGS) by applying magnetic fields. However, as a uniaxial strain is exerted on the nanoribbons, the AGNRs can transform to SGS by a small magnetic field. The combination mode be- tween magnetic field and uniaxial strain displays a nonmonotonic arch-pattern relationship. Insomnia is a common sleep disorder that is closely associated with the occurrence and deterioration of cardiovascular disease, depression and other diseases. The evaluation of pharmacological treatments for insomnia brings significant clinical implications. In this study, a total of 20 patients with mild insomnia and 75 healthy subjects as controls (HC) were included to explore alterations of electroencephalogram (EEG) complexity associated with insomnia and its pharmacological treatment by using multi-scale permutation entropy (MPE). All participants were recorded for two nights of polysomnography (PSG). The patients with mild insomnia received a placebo on the first night (Placebo) and temazepam on the second night (Temazepam), while the HCs had no sleep-related medication intake for either night. EEG recordings from each night were extracted and analyzed using MPE. The results showed that MPE decreased significantly from pre-lights-off to the period during sleep transition and then to the period after sleep onset, and also during the deepening of sleep stage in the HC group. Furthermore, results from the insomnia subjects showed that MPE values were significantly lower for the Temazepam night compared to MPE values for the Placebo night. Moreover, MPE values for the Temazepam night showed no correlation with age or gender. Our results indicated that EEG complexity, measured by MPE, may be utilized as an alternative approach to measure the impact of sleep medication on brain dynamics. 相似文献

To get desired sound absorption,we proposed a novel periodic composite structure comprised of micro-perforated plates(MPPs),porous materials and air cavities.The composite structure is then solved using an equivalent circuit model,with equivalent fluid porous model and Maa's theory.Distributed four-pole elements are used to handle structures which are not compact compared to the sound wavelength.The model procedures are validated and confirmed as satisfactory by published results and finite-element results.Analysis conducted on a single layer shows that,compared with traditional MPP,the porous addition can increase sound absorption in the low-to-medium frequency range;however,the advantage of porous materials in the high-frequency range is lost.Meanwhile,by arranging the porous materials in parallel and controlling their filling ratios,the absorption curve of the composite structure can be tuned.As to periodic composite structures,it is found that the influence of layer number N is mainly in the low-to-medium frequency range.When N varies,the half-absorption bandwidth increases over 40%(≥380 Hz) compared with a single layer.Compared with multi-layered MPPs,N=2 and N=4 produce an increase of bandwidth by 50%(≥400 Hz) and 30%(≥300 Hz) respectively.As N increases,the sound absorption is better but the enhancement weakens as it tends to the limit of the composite structure.These results show the potential enhancements that can be made to the traditional MPP,which can benefit the research on wideband noise reduction in the low-to-medium frequency range. 相似文献
