Using multiple importance sampling (MIS) technique, the optical communication system performance affected by polarization-mode dispersion (PMD) and polarization-dependent loss (PDL) is simulated numerically. The power penalties and system outage probabilities are obtained for optical communication systems with on-off keying (OOK) or differential phase shift keying (DPSK) modulation. The simulation results show that DPSK always performs better than OOK. When the system has moderate PDL (about 1.5 dB), it is necessary to compensate effectively the fiber PMD in order to enhance the system tolerance to the PMD and PDL. However, the efficiency of PMD compensation will degrade rapidly when the PMD of the whole optical link drops into the low value. 相似文献

通过系统性的常规水质采样分析与水面光谱测量外场同步试验,建立了由FY-1C多通道扫描辐射计、Landsat卫星TM和Seastar卫星SeaWiFS等在轨卫星多通道遥感器以及一组设想的遥感通道遥感反演叶绿素a浓度和总悬浮物浓度的优化通道组合模型,提出了一种利用水面上标准反射板的反射光谱和遥感图像本身确定大气透过率和反射率从而实现大气校正的水质指标卫星遥感反演方法.所建立的模型和方法被用于遥感解译我国典型富营养化湖泊太湖和滇池从80至90年代的富营养化程度及其分布状况随年份的变化.本项研究为进一步开展湖泊水质业务化卫星监测打下了基础. 相似文献

Oxygen vacancies (OVs) dominate the physical and chemical properties of metal oxides, which play crucial roles in the various fields of applications. Density functional theory calculations show the introduction of OVs in TiO2(B) gives rise to better electrical conductivity and lower energy barrier of sodiation. Here, OVs evoked blue TiO2(B) (termed as B‐TiO2(B)) nanobelts are successfully designed upon the basis of electronically coupled conductive polymers to TiO2, which is confirmed by electron paramagnetic resonance and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The superiorities of OVs with the aid of carbon encapsulation lead to higher capacity (210.5 mAh g?1 (B‐TiO2(B)) vs 102.7 mAh g?1 (W‐TiO2(B)) at 0.5 C) and remarkable long‐term cyclability (the retention of 94.4% at a high rate of 10 C after 5000 times). In situ X‐ray diffractometer analysis spectra also confirm that an enlarged interlayer spacing stimulated by OVs is beneficial to accommodate insertion and removal of sodium ions to accelerate storage kinetics and preserve its original crystal structure. The work highlights that injecting OVs into metal oxides along with carbon coating is an effective strategy for improving capacity and cyclability performances in other metal oxide based electrochemical energy systems. 相似文献

Visually readable codes play a crucial role in anticounterfeiting measures. However, current coding approaches do not enable time‐dependent codes to be visually read, adjusted, and differentiated in bright and dark fields. Here, using a combined strategy of piezoelectric lattice selection, oxygen vacancy engineering, and activator doping, a lanthanide ion‐doped titanate is developed that integrates mechano‐, thermo‐, and photo‐responsive color change (>18 h for bright field), persistent luminescence (>6 h for dark field), and stimulus‐triggered multimodal luminescence. The feasibility of optical encoding, visual displaying, and stimulus‐responsive encrypting of time‐dependent, dual‐field information by using the developed material is demonstrated. In particular, the differentiated display of dual‐field modes is achieved by combining mechanostimulated abolition of only the persistent luminescence and thermo‐ and photostimulated reversal of both the color change and persistent luminescence. The results provide new insights for designing advanced materials and encryption technologies for photonic displays, information security, and intelligent anticounterfeiting. 相似文献
