In this article, the performance of quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM)-based single- and double-stage digital interpolators have been compared. The basic interpolator for up-sampling can be a combination of an expander unit with an interpolation lowpass filter in cascade. Complicated implementations can be done by connecting multiple expander and low-pass filter pairs in cascade. This article presents the efficient and effective implementation of digital interpolation systems for up-sampling of single- and double-stage digital interpolators. Comparison is done in terms of spectrum of generated signal, envelope power, modulated signal trajectory, input and output constellation and noise performance. Today's 3G wireless systems require both high linearity and high power amplifier (PA) efficiency. The high peak-to-average ratios of the digital modulation schemes used in 3G wireless systems require that the RF PA maintain high linearity over a large range while maintaining this high efficiency; these two requirements are often at odds with each other with many of the traditional amplifier architectures. In this article, a fast and easy-to-implement adaptive digital predistorter has been presented for Wideband Code Division Multiplexed signals using complex memory polynomial work function. The proposed algorithm has been implemented to test a Motorola LDMOSFET PA. The proposed technique also takes care of the memory effects of the PA, which have been ignored in many proposed techniques in the literature. The results show that the new complex memory polynomial-based adaptive digital predistorter has better linearisation performance than conventional predistortion techniques. 相似文献

In this paper, various parameters are used to reduce leakage power, leakage current and noise margin of circuits to enhance their performance. A multiplier is proposed with low-leakage current and low ground bounce noise for the microprocessor, digital signal processors (DSP) and graphics engines. The ground bounce noise problem appears when a conventional power-gating circuit transits from sleep-to-active mode. This paper discusses a reduction in leakage current in the stacking power-gating technique by three modes – sleep, active and sleep-to-active. The simulation results are performed on a 4 × 4 carry-save multiplier for leakage current, active power, leakage power and ground bounce noise, and comparison made for different nanoscales. Ground bounce noise is limited to 90%. The leakage current of the circuit is decimated up to 80% and the active power is reduced to 31%. We performed simulations using cadence virtuoso 180 and 45 nm at room temperature at various supply voltages. 相似文献

The presence of cluster heads (CHs) in a clustered wireless sensor network (WSN) leads to improved data aggregation and enhanced network lifetime. Thus, the selection of appropriate CHs in WSNs is a challenging task, which needs to be addressed. A multicriterion decision-making approach for the selection of CHs is presented using Pareto-optimal theory and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) methods. CHs are selected using three criteria including energy, cluster density and distance from the sink. The overall network lifetime in this method with 50% data aggregation after simulations is 81% higher than that of distributed hierarchical agglomerative clustering in similar environment and with same set of parameters. Optimum number of clusters is estimated using TOPSIS technique and found to be 9–11 for effective energy usage in WSNs. 相似文献

In this paper a two competing species harvesting model with imprecise biological parameters has been developed. We have developed a method to handle these imprecise parameters and discuss the dynamical behaviour of the model. We have discussed the existence of various equilibrium points and stability of the system at these equilibrium points. Also the bionomic equilibrium of the harvesting model has been analysed. Next the equilibrium solution of the control problem has been derived, and then dynamical optimization of the harvest policy is carried out taking combined harvesting effort as a dynamic variable by invoking Pontryagin’s Maximum Principle. Our important analytical findings are illustrated through computer simulation using MATLAB followed by discussions and conclusions. 相似文献

The car radiator heat transfer enhancement by using TiO2 and SiO2 nanoparticles dispersed in water as a base fluid was studied experimentally. The test rig is setup as a car radiator with tubes and container. The range of Reynolds number and volume fraction are (250–1,750) and (1.0–2.5 %) respectively. Oxidative stress, produced under diabetic conditions, is a possible cause of various forms of tissue damage. The concentrations of antioxidant enzymes in cases of diabetes are significantly decreased, with a concomitant increase in lipid peroxidation. In this study, lupeol, a phytoconstituent from Solanum xanthocarpum, is shown to suppress the progression of diabetes after 21 days. Lupeol treatment caused decreases in glycated haemoglobin, serum glucose and nitric oxide, with a concomitant increase in serum insulin level. Furthermore, treatment with lupeol also increased antioxidant levels, with a decrease in the level of thiobarbituric acid-reactive oxygen species. 相似文献

Validation: Membrane protein structures are sensitive to the environment used for structural characterization. NMR spectra of the full-length M2 proton channel from influenza?A were measured directly in E.?coli membranes and compared to spectra of the protein in synthetic lipid bilayers.
