Minimum achievable phase noise of RC oscillators 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
To make RC oscillators suitable for RF applications, their typically poor phase-noise characteristics must be improved. We show that, for a given power consumption, this improvement is fundamentally limited by the fluctuation-dissipation theorem of thermodynamics. We also present the analytical formulation of this limit for relaxation (including ring) oscillators using a time-domain phase-noise analysis method which is introduced in this paper. Measurement shows the maximum possible improvement is generally less than 6dB for ring oscillators, while it can be as high as 21dB for other relaxation oscillators. The suboptimal performance of relaxation oscillators is attributed to the continuous current flow in these oscillator topologies. These results provide useful insight for feasibility studies of oscillator design. 相似文献

A very mild and highly efficient synthesis of some novel 1H‐1,2,3‐triazolyl carboacyclic nucleosides via a ‘Click’ Huisgen cycloaddition of N‐propargyl nucleobases and azido alcohols using Cu/aminoclay/reduced graphene oxide nanohybrid (Cu/AC/r‐GO nanohybrid) as nanocatalyst is described. The preparation and characterization of Cu/AC/r‐GO nanohybrid are discussed. This catalyst was characterized by X‐ray diffraction, FT‐IR, TEM, and energy‐dispersive analysis of X‐ray techniques. Cu/AC/r‐GO nanohybrid is a stable and highly efficient heterogeneous nanocatalyst that can be easily prepared, used, and restored from the reaction mixture by simple filtration, and reused for many consecutive trials without significant decrease in activity. 相似文献

Overlapped FFT has been proposed as a signal detection scheme in dynamic spectrum access to reduce the variance of the noise and improve the detection probability. However, the improvement of the detection probability in the conventional overlapped FFT is bounded with the upper limit of the overlap ratio. This paper proposes a new overlapped FFT scheme using additional frames. In the proposed scheme, in addition to the original FFT frames, new frames that consist of multiple subframes with non-continuous samples are constructed and included. It can realize the increase of the number of the FFT frames and the improvement of the detection probability compared with the conventional scheme. Numerical results through computer simulation show that the proposed scheme improves the detection probability by up to 0.07. On indoor channel models the proposed scheme also improves the detection probability. In addition, it is clarified that as the delay spread increases the detection probability reduces due to the correlation between the frames. 相似文献

A simple and non-separative analytical method for selective determination of amylose in Iranian rice has been developed. It was based on the reduction of silver ions by amylose and production of Ag nanoparticles, which exhibit surface plasmon resonance (SPR) spectra in the ultraviolet/visible region. The formation of Ag nanoparticles in the presence of amylose was monitored by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and dynamic light scattering (DLS). The experimental conditions were optimized to obtain the highest yield for nanoparticle formation. Partial least square (PLS) regression as an efficient multivariate spectral calibration method was employed to make a connection between the SPR spectra of the generated Ag nanoparticles and the amylose content (AC) of the rice starch. The number of PLS latent variables was optimized by leave-one-out cross-validation utilizing prediction residual error sum of square (PRESS). The proposed model exhibited a high ability for prediction of amylose concentration in both standard starch samples and real rice samples prepared from different regions of Iran. The relative errors of prediction were almost lower than ±5% for different real samples and the detection limit was 3.23 weight percent of amylose in rice. In this study, an oxadiazole multi-wall carbon nanotube-modified glassy carbon electrode (OMWCNT?GCE) was used as a highly sensitive electrochemical sensor for hydrazine determination. The surface charge transfer rate constant, k s, and the charge transfer coefficient, ??, for electron transfer between GCE and electrodeposited oxadiazole were calculated as 19.4?±?0.5?s?1 and 0.51, respectively at pH?=?7.0. The obtained results indicate that hydrazine peak potential at OMWCNT?GCE shifted for 14, 109, and 136?mV to negative values as compared with oxadiazole-modified GCE, MWCNT?GCE, and activated GCE surface, respectively. The electron transfer coefficient, ??, and the heterogeneous rate constant, k??, for the oxidation of hydrazine at OMWCNT?GCE were also determined by cyclic voltammetry measurements. Two linear dynamic ranges of 0.6 to 10.0???M and 10.0 to 400.0???M and detection limit of 0.17???M for hydrazine determination were evaluated using differential pulse voltammetry. For ultra-wideband (UWB) communications with signal energy dispersed by a large number of multipath components, the design of a Rake receiver that can provide a desirable output signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) using only a moderate number of fingers becomes an important issue. In this paper, we propose a pilot-channel-assisted log-likelihood-ratio selective combining (PCA-LLR-SC) scheme for UWB Rake receivers to be used in long-range low-rate UWB communications envisioned by the IEEE 802.15.4a PHY specification. The pilot and data channels are constructed using quadrature sinusoidal bursts that have the same Gaussian envelope. The system parameters are optimized through jointly minimizing the channel estimation mean square error and maximizing the receiver output SNR. Extensive simulations confirm that the proposed PCA-LLR-SC scheme is capable of providing robust low-rate UWB communications in fast-fading multipath channels and in the presence of multi-user interference. 相似文献
