In this paper, testing of radio frequency (RF) devices with mixed-signal testers is discussed. General purpose automatic test equipment (ATE) will be used. In this paper, a more universal test structure utilizing RF building blocks is proposed. A global positioning system (GPS) device is used as an example to illustrate how to develop the RF test plan with this usage. The test plan developed includes fast, cost-effective and dedicated circuitry.

We investigate the effect of an anisotropic depolarizing channel on the classical transmission of quantum entangled states. We calculate numerically mutual information between honest parts as a function of the degree of anisotropy of the depolarizing channel. In contrast to the case of isotropic channels, we found that the mutual information depends on both the degree of anisotropy and the degree of entanglement. It increases with increase in the degree of entanglement for a quantum channel with sufficiently large depolarizing anisotropy and decreases with increase in the entanglement.  相似文献

In this article, we propose the exponentiated sine-generated family of distributions. Some important properties are demonstrated, such as the series representation of the probability density function, quantile function, moments, stress-strength reliability, and Rényi entropy. A particular member, called the exponentiated sine Weibull distribution, is highlighted; we analyze its skewness and kurtosis, moments, quantile function, residual mean and reversed mean residual life functions, order statistics, and extreme value distributions. Maximum likelihood estimation and Bayes estimation under the square error loss function are considered. Simulation studies are used to assess the techniques, and their performance gives satisfactory results as discussed by the mean square error, confidence intervals, and coverage probabilities of the estimates. The stress-strength reliability parameter of the exponentiated sine Weibull model is derived and estimated by the maximum likelihood estimation method. Also, nonparametric bootstrap techniques are used to approximate the confidence interval of the reliability parameter. A simulation is conducted to examine the mean square error, standard deviations, confidence intervals, and coverage probabilities of the reliability parameter. Finally, three real applications of the exponentiated sine Weibull model are provided. One of them considers stress-strength data.  相似文献

The process of polymer synthesis based on polymerization-induced phase separation (PIPS) is revisited from the theoretical point of view. Cahn–Hilliard–Cook theories for spinodal decomposition are adapted to describe the kinetics of phase separation and deduce the time-resolved scattering function, while the double reaction model is used to describe the kinetics of polymerization. Coupling of these two kinetics is provided by the Carother's equation relating the fraction of reacted monomers to the degree of polymerization at time t, denoted N(t). It is argued that the approach to criticality is governed by a critical parameter, χc, that is different from the usual parameter for spinodal decomposition, χs, deduced from the second derivative of the free energy. While the latter parameter depends on the reciprocal degree of polymerization N?1(t), the former one depends on its time integral. This leads to significant consequences on the phase behavior developments during the PIPS process. Hydrodynamic interactions are found to speed up the emergence of instability modes. Although the qualitative trends remain similar to those of the Rouse dynamics, important quantitative changes are found due to the long-range viscous flow effects.  相似文献

This paper tackles the problem of pilot contamination (PC) in mmWave Massive MIMO cellular systems. We propose an analog precoder based on antenna subset transmission technique to mitigate the PC. This technique ensures the interfering signal to become noise‐like signal thus helping a more efficient estimation of channel coefficients. Also, this strategy is low cost and introduces no complexity load. The result shows the effectiveness of the proposed precoder to mitigate PC issue.  相似文献

Test cost is one of the main factors determining the profit margin of a device in production. Current test strategies require hundreds of measurements to determine the specifications of a parameter. In this paper, we present an automatic test-vector generation technique that is based on transfer function manipulation and requires only one circuit simulation. The proposed method consists of generating the first set of vectors by applying a derivation technique to the golden transfer function of the circuit under test (CUT). An interpolation technique allows a new transfer function to be constructed based on the first set of test vectors. The difference between the reconstructed transfer function and the golden transfer function is used to select the second set of test vectors. These new test vectors are selected to achieve the best possible fit. Our technique reduces the test vector size to values that at present can be achieved only by using powerful and time-consuming fault simulation tools. As an example, we apply the method to state variable and Chebyshev filters. We also compute the fault coverage in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of this new technique.  相似文献
