Heat transfer and fluid flow in HEM crystal growth of silicon in cylindrical cavity is studied numerically. The walls of the crucible are heated to a fixed temperature. The exchanger that causes and induces natural convection is seated at the middle‐bottom of the crucible. The finite‐volume method is employed to solve the governing equations with proper boundary conditions. The effects of transport mechanism on the temperature distribution, melt flow, pressure and stream function are presented. We focus our work on the pressure field which has not yet been studied in HEM crucible. Also, we extend our work on a wide range Grashof number and for large numbers until 1012 not yet studied in HEM furnace. It is found that the onset of flow fluctuations appears at Gr = 1010. Uniform temperature is observed in the entire melt at high Grashof number with development of a thermal boundary layer close to the exchanger. The thermal boundary layer thickness is calculated for strong buoyancy regime. Besides, for very high Gr number, buoyancy has less effect on temperature and then on melt‐crystal interface shape. During enlarging Gr, pressure evolution is related to temperature variation more than flow pattern.  相似文献

An efficient heterogeneous Pd catalytic system has been developed, based on immobilization of Pd nanoparticles (PNPs) on a silica‐bonded propylamine–cyanuric–cysteine (SiO2pA–Cyan–Cys) substrate. The synthesized catalyst was characterized by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, FT‐IR, N2 adsorption analysis (BET), TGA and inductively coupled plasma/atomic emission spectroscopy, and catalytic activity of this catalyst was investigated in the Suzuki and Sonogashira cross‐coupling reactions. The catalysts showed excellent performance in these two reactions, including various aryl halide derivatives (except aryl chloride derivatives) with phenylboronic acid and phenylacetylene under green conditions. Moreover, the catalyst was recycled for several runs without any significant loss of catalytic activity. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this work, a batch chemiluminescence (CL) method has been proposed for the simultaneous determination of two structurally similar alkaloids, noscapine and thebaine. The method is based on the kinetic distinction of the CL reactions of noscapine and thebaine with Ru(bipy)32+ and Ce(IV) system in a sulfuric acid medium. The least squared support vector machine (LS-SVM) regression was applied for relating the concentrations of both compounds to their CL profiles. The parameters of the model consisting of σ2 and γ were optimized by constructing LS-SVM models with all possible combinations of these two parameters to select the model with the minimum root mean squared error of cross validation (RMSECV) as the best. The parameters of this model were then selected as optimized values. Under the optimized experimental conditions for both compounds, the detection limits obtained using the LS-SVM regression were 0.08 and 0.1 μmol L?1 for noscapine and thebaine, respectively. The proposed method was utilized for the simultaneous determination of the compounds in pharmaceutical formulations and plasma samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Abstract

A mild and operationally simple method for the synthesis of thiocyanohydrins is described. Mukaiyama reagent is used as an effective reagent for the solvent-free conversion of epoxides into their corresponding thiocyanohydrins. The reactions were completed in <5 min to give thiocyanohydrins with perfect regioselectivity and isolated yields.  相似文献

The thermal storage unit consists of two concentric cylinders where the working fluid flows through the internal cylinder and the annulus is filled with a phase change material. The system carries out a cyclic operation; each cycle consists of two processes. In the charging process the hot working fluid enters the internal cylinder and transfers heat to the phase change material. In the discharging process the cold working fluid enters the internal cylinder and absorbs heat from the phase change material. The differential equations governing the heat transfer between the two media are solved numerically. The numerical results are compared with the experimental results available in the literature. The performance of an energy storage unit is directly related to the thermal conductivity of nano-particles. The energy consumption of a residential unit whose energy is supplied by a thermal storage system can be reduced by 43?% when using nano-particles.  相似文献

CO2 reforming of methane (CDRM) was carried out over MgO supported Ni catalysts with various Ni loadings. The preparation of MgO supported Ni catalysts via surfactant-assisted precipitation method led to the formation of a nanocrystalline carrier for nickel catalysts. The synthesized samples were characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption, H2 chemisorption, TPR, TPO and SEM techniques. It was found that the high catalytic activity and stability of the prepared catalysts could be attributable to high dispersion of reduced Ni species and basicity of support surface. In addition, the effect of feed ratio, nickel loading and GHSV on the catalytic performance of CDRM over the catalysts were investigated.  相似文献
