Four compounds are reported, all of which lie along a versatile reaction pathway which leads from simple carbonyl compounds to terphenyls. (2E)‐1‐(2,4‐Dichlorophenyl)‐3‐ [4‐(prop‐1‐en‐2‐yl)phenyl]prop‐2‐en‐1‐one, C18H14Cl2O, (I), prepared from 4‐(prop‐1‐en‐2‐yl)benzaldehyde and 2,4‐dichloroacetophenone, exhibits disorder over two sets of atomic sites having occupancies of 0.664 (6) and 0.336 (6). The related chalcone (2E)‐3‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐1‐(4‐fluorophenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐one reacts with acetone to produce (5RS)‐3‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐5‐[4‐(propan‐2‐yl)phenyl]cyclohex‐2‐en‐1‐one, C21H21ClO, (II), which exhibits enantiomeric disorder with occupancies at the reference site of 0.662 (4) and 0.338 (4) for the (5R) and (5S) forms; the same chalcone reacts with methyl 3‐oxobutanoate to give methyl (1RS,6SR)‐4‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐6‐[4‐(propan‐2‐yl)phenyl]‐2‐oxocyclohex‐3‐ene‐1‐carboxylate, C23H23ClO3, (III), where the reference site contains both (1R,6S) and (1S,6R) forms with occupancies of 0.923 (3) and 0.077 (3), respectively. Oxidation, using 2,3‐dichloro‐5,6‐dicyano‐1,4‐benzoquinone, of ethyl (1RS,6SR)‐6‐(4‐bromophenyl)‐4‐(4‐fluorophenyl)‐2‐oxocyclohex‐3‐ene‐1‐carboxylate, prepared in a similar manner to (II) and (III), produces ethyl 4′′‐bromo‐4‐fluoro‐5′‐hydroxy‐1,1′:3′,1′′‐terphenyl‐4′‐carboxylate, C21H16BrFO3, (IV), which crystallizes with Z′ = 2 in the space group P. There are no significant intermolecular interactions in the structures of compounds (I) and (II), but for the major disorder component of compound (III), the molecules are linked into sheets by a combination of C—H...O and C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds. The two independent molecules of compound (IV) form two different centrosymmetric dimers, one built from inversion‐related pairs of C—H...O hydrogen bonds and the other from inversion‐related pairs of C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds. Nitroxide free radicals have been used to study the inner space of one of Rebek’s water‐soluble capsules. EPR and 1H NMR spectroscopy, ESI‐MS, and DFT calculations showed a preference for the formation of 1:2 complexes. EPR titrations allowed us to determine binding constants (Ka) in the order of 107 M ?2. EPR spectral‐shape analysis provided information on the guest rotational dynamics within the capsule. The interplay between optimum hydrogen bonding upon capsule formation and steric strain for guest accommodation highlights some degree of flexibility for guest inclusion, particularly at the center of the capsule where the hydrogen bond seam can be barely distorted or slightly disturbed.  相似文献

In the present study, the voltammetric and impidimetric detection of microRNA‐21, mir‐21 from cell lysates was investigated for the first time by using graphene modified disposable pencil graphite electrodes (GME). The surface characterization of GME was performed via electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Upon passive adsorption of inosine substituted antimicroRNA‐21, antimir‐21 probe, InP, onto the surface of GME and then solid phase hybridization of InP with mir‐21, the target, the electrochemical detection was performed by using Differential Pulse Voltammetry (DPV) and EIS techniques. This developed biosensor, GME has presented a 2.77 times lower detection limit of 2.09 µg/mL (3.12 pmol) with respect to unmodified pencil graphite electrode (GE). Moreover it is capable of analyzing mir‐21 in the cell lysates of mir‐21 positive breast cancer cell line (MCF‐7) contrast to mir‐21 negative hepatoma cell line (HUH‐7). The proposed electrochemical yes‐no system does not require any purification and/or amplification step prior to fast detection of mir‐21 from real samples.  相似文献

Taking advantage of an improved synthesis of [Ti(η6‐C6H6)2], we report here the first examples of ansa‐bridged bis(benzene) titanium complexes. Deprotonation of [Ti(η6‐C6H6)2] with nBuLi in the presence of N,N,N′,N′′,N′′‐pentamethyldiethylenetriamine (pmdta) leads to the corresponding 1,1′‐dilithio salt [Ti(η6‐C6H5Li)2] ? pmdta that enables the preparation of the first one‐ and two‐atom‐bridged complexes by simple salt metathesis. The ansa complexes were fully characterized (NMR spectroscopy, UV/Vis spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and X‐ray crystallography) and further studied electrochemically and computationally. Moreover, [Ti(η6‐C6H6)2] is found to react with the Lewis base 1,3‐dimethylimidazole‐2‐ylidene (IMe) to give the bent sandwich complex [Ti(η6‐C6H6)2(IMe)].  相似文献

The reactions of 5-R-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde-4-allyl-thiosemicarbazone {R: H (L1); Br (L2)} with [MII(PPh3)nCl2] (M = Ni, n = 2 and M = Ru, n = 3) in a 1:1 molar ratio have given stable solid complexes corresponding to the general formula [Ni(L)(PPh3)] and [Ru(HL)2(PPh3)2]. While the 1:1 nickel complexes are formed from an ONS donor set of the thiosemicarbazone and the P atom of triphenylphosphine in a square planar structure, the 1:2 ruthenium complexes consist of a couple from each of N, S and P donor atoms in a distorted octahedral geometry. These mixed-ligand complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV–Vis, APCI-MS, 1H and 31P NMR spectroscopies. The structures of [Ni(L2)(PPh3)] (II) and [Ru(L1H)2(PPh3)2] (III) were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

In the scope of this study, boiling points of aqueous solutions of NaCl, DCl, CaCl2, BaCl2, KNO3 and Ca(NO3)2 salts with salt concentrations between 0.5335 and 6.5935 mol kg−1 within 21.332–101.325 kPa pressure range have been determined. Duhring diagrams have been plotted for each solution. In cases, where Raoult's law applied to non-dilute solutions, the deviations from these were determined.  相似文献

The formation of nanometer‐sized gaps between silver nanoparticles is critically important for optimal enhancement in surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). A simple approach is developed to generate nanometer‐sized cavities in a silver nanoparticle thin film for use as a SERS substrate with extremely high enhancement. In this method, a submicroliter volume of concentrated silver colloidal suspension stabilized with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) is spotted on hydrophobic glass surfaces prepared by the exposure of the glass to dichloromethysilane vapors. The use of a hydrophobic surface helps the formation of a more uniform silver nanoparticle thin film, and CTAB acts as a molecular spacer to keep the silver nanoparticles at a distance. A series of CTAB concentrations is investigated to optimize the interparticle distance and aggregation status. The silver nanoparticle thin films prepared on regular and hydrophobic surfaces are compared. Rhodamine 6G is used as a probe to characterize the thin films as SERS substrates. SERS enhancement without the contribution of the resonance of the thin film prepared on the hydrophobic surface is calculated as 2×107 for rhodamine 6G, which is about one order of magnitude greater than that of the silver nanoparticle aggregates prepared with CTAB on regular glass surfaces and two orders of magnitude greater than that of the silver nanoparticle aggregates prepared without CTAB on regular glass surfaces. A hydrophobic surface and the presence of CTAB have an increased effect on the charge‐transfer component of the SERS enhancement mechanism. The limit of detection for rhodamine 6G is estimated as 1.0×10?8 M . Scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy are used for the characterization of the prepared substrate.  相似文献

A biosensor was prepared with natural melanin nanoparticles (MNP) decorated on a screen‐printed carbon electrode (SPCE). Hexavalent chromium was selected as a well‐known heavy metal ion to be detected for testing the performance of novel biosensor. Natural MNP was extracted from cuttlefish (Sepia officinalis) ink. Surface decoration of SPCEs with MNP was performed by two different methods. The first one was layer‐by‐layer assembly (LBL‐A) for different cycle times(n). In the second one, plasma treatment of SPCE incorporated with evaporation‐induced self‐assembly (EI‐SA) techniques including different incubation times in MNP solutions. The performance of both modified SPCEs were tested for amperometric detection of Cr(VI) in various water samples, and peak reduction of Cr(VI) was determined at 0.33 V. Amperometric results showed wide linear ranges of 0.1–2 μM and 0.1–5 μM of Cr(VI) for SPCEs modified with 14n‐LBL‐A and 12h‐EI‐SA, respectively. The sensitivities of SPCEs modified with 14n‐LBL‐A and 12h‐EI‐SA techniques were 0.27 μA μM?1 and 0.52 μA μM?1, respectively. In addition, both modified SPCEs selectively detected Cr(VI) in a model aqueous system composed of certain other heavy metals and minerals, and tap and lake water samples. The LOD and LOQ values for 12h‐EI‐SA were 0.03 μM and 0.1 μM, respectively. This showed that MNP‐modified‐SPCEs generated via EI‐SA techniques have the potential to be an alternative to conventional detection methods such as ICP‐MS.  相似文献

The dimeric complex, [C20H20CuN2O2]2, has been prepared and characterized by thermal analysis, IR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. The Cu atom in the binuclear complex exists in a distorted square-pyramidal configuration, defined by three O atoms and two N atoms. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular C-H...O hydrogen bonding interaction. The electrochemical property of the complex was investigated in CH2Cl2 by cyclic voltammetry at 100 mV s(-1) scan rate.  相似文献
