Ylures sans sel,evolution en phosphoranes et equilibre ylure ⇌ phosphorane : I Synthese et structure

Synthesis of new salt-free ylids $\text{9}$,$\text{12}$ to $\text{16}$, $\text{19}$, $\text{20}$, $\text{22}$, $\text{27}$ and $\text{29}$ and phoiphoranes $\text{10}$, $\text{17}$, $\text{18}$, $\text{21}$, $\text{23}$, $\text{30}$ to $\text{33}$ by addition of a trivalent phosphorus compound (phosphites and amino-phosphines ) $\text{1}$ to $\text{7}$ with dimethyl acetylencedicartboxylate in presence of a protic trapping reagent are described. The results are consistent with trapping of carbanionic species. In relation with the. cyclic of acyclic structure of the triivalent phosphorus compound and the protic trapping reagent ie : methanol, phenol, carboxylic acid, etc.., several pathways are involved. Clearly), three phenomena are shown : one can obtain an ylid via a phosphorane or conversely a phosphorane via an ylid or an equilibrium Phoiphorane ? ylid. Results are dealing with thermodynamic or kinetically controlled reactions.     

Heterocycles from carbohydrate precursors. Part XIX. The X-ray crystal structure determination of the reaction product of 4-(2-acetoxyethylidene)-4-hydroxy-2,3-dioxobutyro-1,4-lactone-2-(p-bromophenylhydrazone) with methylhydrazine

X-ray crystallographic data show that the product obtained in the reaction of 4-(2-acetoxy-ethylidene)-4-hydroxy-2,3-dioxobutyro-1,4-lactone-2-(p-bromophenylhydrazone) with methyl-hydrazine is the bicyclic compound 2,6-dimethyl-3,4-dioxo-2,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydropyridazino-[4,3-c]pyridazine 4-(p-bromophenylhydrazone) ( 10 ) and not as originally suggested 1-methyl-3-(1-methylpyrazolin-3-yl)-4,5-pyrazoledione 4-(p-bromophenylhydrazone) ( 8 ).     

Subbundles of maximal degree of the normal bundle of algebraic space curves almost complete intersection of special type

Summary LetX⊂P ³ be an irreducible smooth curve which is not a complete intersection. The main result of this paper shows that whenX is an a.c.i. of special type, i.e. its homogeneous ideal is generated by three polynomial of the same degreem, and additionallym>2, the subbundles of maximal degree of the normal bundle ofX inP ³ correspond to the singular points of maximal multiplicity of a plane curve which is the image ofX by a map (the linear system of the surfaces of minimal degree throughX). In particular this normal bundle is stable. The initial case of this family of curves, i.e. form=3, has been studied by E. Ballico-Ph. Ellia with different methods.

Riassunto SiaX⊂P ³ una curva irriducibile e liscia che non è una completa intersezione. Il risultato principale di questa Nota mostra che quandoX è una almost completa intersezione di tipo speciale, cioè il suo ideale omogeneo è generato minimamente da 3 polinomi dello stesso gradom, e, inoltre,m>2, i sottofibrati di grado massimo del fibrato normale diX inP ³ corrispondono ai punti singolari di molteplicità massima di una curva piana che è l’immagine diX tramite una mappa (il sistema lineare delle superficie di grado minimo passanti perX). In particolare questo fibrato normale è stabile. Il caso iniziale di questa famiglia di curve, i.e. perm=3, è stato studiato da E. Ballico-Ph. Ellia con differenti metodi.

Nickel-Ruthenium Mixed-Metal Carbonyl Clusters Syntheses and Solid State Structures of the Two Tetrahedral Clusters [PPh4][NiRu3(μ3 H)(CO)9(μ-CO)3] and [NEt4]2[NiRu3(CO)8(μ-CO)4]

Redox condensation of [Ru₃H(CO)₁₁]- with Ni(CO)₄, in tetrahydrofuran solution, under a nitrogen atmosphere, yields the tetranuclear anion [NiRu_H(CO)₁₁)-. Subsequent deprotonation with Bu'OK in acetonitrile solution leads to the formation of the related dianion. Both anions have been characterized by spectroscopic techniques, elemental analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction. [PPh₄][NiRu₃H(CO)₁₂] crystallizes in the triclinic space group PI with unit cell dimensionsof a = 11.842(2) Å,b = 12.335(3) Å, c = 13.3080) Å,a = 91.89(2)°, = 93.35(1)°,y = 96.41(2)°, Z = 2, V= 1926.9(7) Å'. The NiRu₃, metal core of the molecule defines a distorted tetrahedron with nine terminal and three edge bridging carbonyl groups. The hydrido ligand was located by difference Fourier techniques and was found to bridge the NiRu₂ basal triangle at a distance of 0.88(6) A from this plane. Selected average distances and angles are: Ru-Ru = 2.839 Å, Ru-Ni = 2.640 Å, Ru-C, = 1.910 A,Ru-C _b = 2.084 Å, Ni-C _b = 2.022 Å, Ru-H = 1.77 Å, C-0, = 1.135 Å, C-O _b = 1.159 Å, M-C-O, = 176.3°,M-C--O _b = 139.3°;other distances are: Ni-C₁ = l.758(7) Å, Ni-H= 1.85(7) Å. [NEt₄]₂[NiRu₃(CO)₁₂] crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma (no. 62) with unit cell dimensions ofa=20.247(5) Å,b = 15.038(4)Å,c = 12.079(3) Å, Z=4, V=3678(2) A'. The molecule contains a tetrahedral NiRu₃ core with eight terminal and four edge bridging carbon monoxide groups which bridge the three Ni-Ru and one Ru-Ru bond. Average distances and angles are: Ru -Ru =2.3050A Ru-Ni 2.648 Å, Ru-C _t = 1.878 Å, Ru-C _b 2.045 Å, Ni-C _b = 2.055 Å, C-O _t = 1.145 Å, C-01,=1.157 Å, M-C-O,= 176.9°, M-C-O _b = 138.6°; other distance is: Ni-C _t = 1.754(10) Å,t = terminal,b = bridging.     

Mössbauer studies on one-dimensional iron phthalocyanines

Summary Magnetic moments and⁵⁷Fe Mössbauer spectra at room temperature and at liquid nitrogen temperature of polynuclear ligand-bridged iron phthalocyanines, FePcL (L = pyrazine and 4,4-bipyridyl), are reported. The experimental data are in agreement with a pseudo-octahedral environment around the iron(II) cation. Partially oxidized derivatives, FePc(pz)I_0.26 and FePc(bipy)I_1.06 have been synthesized and their⁵⁷Fe Mössbauer spectra and magnetic moments within the same temperature range obtained. Oxidation is shown to be metal centred and the iodine is found to be in I^– form for FePc(pz)_0.26 and as both I^– and I ₃ ^– species for FePc(bipy)I_1.06. While the magnetic moment of FePc(pz) increases upon oxidation, the opposite occurs for FePc(bipy).     

Synthesis and Preliminary Anti‐bacterial Activity of Some 4‐Substituted‐N1‐2‐pyridylsulfanilamide Derivatives

2‐Amino‐4‐ethoxycarbonylpyridine 1 was used as a starting material in the synthesis of some 4‐substituted‐N¹‐2‐pyridylsulfanilamide derivatives to evaluate their antimicrobial activity. The obtained compounds were of no particular effect against the tested organisms except for a noticeable inhibition of B. subtilis, which was of varying extents but remained clearly significant.     

Pyridazine derivatives. Part 40: Reactivity of 5-alkynylpyridazin-3(2H)-ones toward hydrochloric acid

5-Alkynylpyridazin-3(2H)-ones or 5-(2-chloroalkenyl)pyridazin-3(2H)-ones were isolated during the cleavage of the methoxymethyl group in a series of 5-alkynyl-2-methoxymethylpyridazin-3(2H)-ones by treatment with hydrochloric acid. The efficient and selective cleavage of the methoxymethyl group in these compounds can be performed under mild conditions by employing aluminium chloride.     

Heterocyclic synthesis via enaminones: Novel synthesis of (1H)‐pyridin‐2‐one,pyrazolo[1,5‐a]pyrimidine and isoxazole derivatives incorporating a N‐methylphthalimide and their biological evaluation

Novel synthesis of (1H)‐pyridin‐2‐one, pyrazolo[1,5‐a]pyrimidine and isoxazole derivatives incorporating N‐methylphthalimide moiety are reported. Reaction of enaminone 2 with malononitrile affords 4. Condensation of 2 with cyanothioacetamide or benzoylacetonitrile affords compounds 6 and 7 respectively. Reaction of 2 with hydrazine hydrate afford 2,3‐dihydrophthalazine‐1,4‐dione ( 10 ). Condensation of 2 with hydroxylamine and 3‐aminopyrazole derivatives affords compounds 12 and 15a,b respectively. Antimicrobial and antifungal activity were determined for representative compounds and most of them showed moderate activity as antimicrobial agents, while compounds 2 and 7 show strong activity against Aspergillus niger. The structure of the newly synthesized compounds was elucidated by elemental analyses and ¹H nmr spectra and some cases by ¹³C nmr investigation.     

Microsolvation of the [Ni(acac)(tmen)]+ complex

Microsolvation of the [Ni(acac)(tmen)]⁺ complex by a series of aliphatic n-alcohols (Solv) has been studied in ClCH₂CH₂Cl solutions by spectrophotometry. Based on the changes in the electronic spectrum of the afore-mentioned complex, observed under the influence of any alcohol, the equilibrium constants for the formation of the [Ni(acac)(tmen)Solv]⁺ and [Ni(acac)(tmen)Solv₂]⁺ species have been computed according to the algorithm presented in this work. It was found that, in all the systems studied, the stability of five-coordinated [Ni(acac)(tmen)Solv]⁺ is higher than that of octahedral [Ni(acac)(tmen)Solv₂]⁺. The resulting values are discussed in terms of the Lewis basicity of alcohols.     

The rearrangement of some cyclopentanone-aryloximes: synthesis of (±)-aplysin, (±)-filiformin and of their debromo analogues.

Upon acid catalyzed rearrangement after Sheradsky, the aryloximes A gave the tricyclic aminals C, which suffered hydrolysis to lactols E. The unique alcohol 29 was then prepared through a highly stereoselective equilibration-reductive alkylation of the epimeric mixture of lactols 22a,b. Two routes, one of which was stereospecific, allowed cyclization of 29 to (±)-aplysin 34. The yield was 2.5 % from oximes 2a,b. The isomeric epi-aplysin 35 and filiformin 36 were also obtained from 29. The debromo analogues 37,38 and 39 and their trideutero derivatives 41,42 and 43 were synthesized along similar line and allowed unequivocal structure elucidation by NMR spectroscopy.
