In this paper, a novel phosphor, Y6W2O15:Eu3+ was synthesized by thermal decomposition and phase transition of its decatungstate gel precursor. With stepwise increase of temperature to 750 °C, a crystalline phase of Y6W2O15:Eu3+forms that gives intense red emission when excited at 466 nm, the emission is attributed to the Eu3+ ions transitions from 5D0 excited states to 7FJ (J=0-4) ground states. The long excitation wavelength proves the Eu3+ transition follows the photoexcitation of the oxygen-metal (O→W lmct) charge transfer bands in yttrium tungstate. Some structural information regarding Y6W2O15 provided by luminescence is in accord with that characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The long-wavelength excitation properties of this material may find application in the production of red phosphors for white light-emitting diodes (LEDs). 相似文献

This study proposes a Ka-band harmonic-doubling gyrotron traveling-wave amplifier (gyro- TWT), using distributed wall losses in the input stage and mode-selective interaction circuit in the output stage, to improve the stability of the amplification. Based on a large signal simulation code, a saturated peak power of 163 kW with an efficiency of 15.5%, a gain of 31.1 dB, and a 3 dB bandwidth of 0.9 GHz is predicted for the gyro-TWT driven by 70 kV, 15 A electron beam with a velocity ratio of 1.2 and velocity spread 5% at 33.2 GHz. 相似文献

The fabrication of hierarchically structured Ni(OH)2 monolayer hollow‐sphere arrays with the shell composed of building blocks of nanoflakelets is reported on p. 644 by Weiping Cai and co‐workers. The morphology can be easily controlled by the synthesis parameters, and the arrays show a tunable optical transmission stop band. Tuning can be achieved by changing the size or morphology of the hollow spheres. Such arrays may have potential applications in optical devices, photonic crystals, and as sensors for gas detection. The fabrication of a hierarchically structured Ni(OH)2 monolayer hollow‐sphere array with the shell composed of building blocks of nanoflakelets is demonstrated based on a colloidal monolayer and electrochemical deposition. The morphology can be easily controlled by the colloidal monolayer and deposition parameters. Importantly, such monolayer hollow‐sphere array shows a morphology‐ and size‐dependent tunable optical transmission stop band. This stop band can be easily tuned from 455–1855 nm by changing the size of the hollow spheres between 1000 and 4500 nm, and also fine‐adjusted by changing the deposition time. The array exhibits a nearly incident‐angle‐independent position of the stop band that 3D photonic crystals do not possess. An equivalent circuit model of a pixellated-metal-mirror ferroelectric liquid crystal (FLC) optically addressed spatial light modulator (OASLM) is proposed. Using both structure and FLC material parameters of a real device and real material as the simulation parameters, the model is firstly confirmed by good agreement of simulation results and the reported experimental ones, and then utilized to optimize gray-scale performance of the OASLM. The model is developed from an improved FLC equivalent circuit, and has the ability to describe the voltage dropped across the modulating layer and to predict how optical outputs vary over time with the input drive voltage and control image. Simulation results indicate that gray-scale performance of the OASLM is highly dependent on write pulse width. More than 10 gray scales are observed when write pulse width is 100 μs and the number reduces to four when it reaches 500 μs. Other parameters of drive voltage can be set to adjust the region of write light intensity over which gray scales are best produced, and write pulses are found to be primary at high write light intensities, whereas erase pulses are dominant at low write light intensities. Furthermore, although gray-scale performance is weakly dependent on erase-light intensity, the erase light is necessary to ensure a proper erasure of the device and at least 1 mW/cm2 is required in this study. 相似文献
