On the class of generalized Landsberg manifolds

In 2000, Bejancu–Farran introduced the class of generalized Landsberg manifolds which contains the class of Landsberg manifolds. In this paper, we prove three global results for generalized Landsberg manifolds. First, we show that every compact generalized Landsberg manifold is a Landsberg manifold. Then we prove that every complete generalized Landsberg manifold with relatively isotropic Landsberg curvature reduces to a Landsberg manifold. Finally, we show that every generalized Landsberg manifold with vanishing Douglas curvature satisfies \(\mathbf{H}=0\).     

Adsorption of acid blue on synthesized polymeric nanocomposites,PPy/MCM-41 and PAni/MCM-41: Isotherm,thermodynamic and kinetic studies

In the this research, removal of acid blue 62 from aqueous solution using mesoporous crystalline material-41 (MCM-41) loaded by polypyrrole (PPy) and polyaniline (PAni) was investigated. Synthesized composites were characterized by SEM, TEM, FTIR, XRD and BET analysis. Langmuir adsorption isotherm showed the best compatibility with the experimental data in comparison with other isotherm models (q_m = 55.55 mg/L). Kinetic studies proved that the adsorption process is compatible with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model. Thermodynamic parameters such as Gibbs free energy changes (ΔG^o), Enthalpy changes (ΔH^o) and Entropy changes (ΔS^o) were calculated. Negative value of ΔG^o and positive value of ΔH^o show that adsorption of Acid blue 62 on PPy/MCM-41 nanocomposite is a spontaneous process also endothermic.     

Some Unitary Operators on Hoop-algebras

In this paper, we introduce the notions of multiplier, $\odot$-closure operator and modal operator on hoop-algebras. After that, we investigate some algebraic properties of multiplier, $\odot$-closure operator and modal operator on hoop-algebras. Then we study relationships between multiplier and closure operator on hoop-algebras showing that, any monotone modal operator on hoop-algebra serves as a closure operator. Finally we represent image of hoop-algebra under the closure operator can be a hoop-algebra.     

Conjugate and conformally conjugate parallelisms on Finsler manifolds

In this paper we study conjugate parallelisms and their conformal changes on Finsler manifolds. We provide sufficient conditions for a Finsler manifold endowed with two conjugate (resp. conformally conjugate) covering parallelisms to become a Berwald (resp. Wagner) manifold. As an application for Lie groups, we give a new proof for a theorem of Latifi and Razavi about bi-invariant Finsler functions being Berwald. By introducing the concept of a conformal change of a parallelism, we also obtain a conceptual proof of a theorem of Hashiguchi and Ichijyō: the class of generalized Berwald manifolds is closed under conformal change.
