Sum rules for the decays of the C-even charmonium levels (1S0, 3P0, 3P2, 1D2) are derived. These rules are based on the asymptotic freedom of the quantum chromodynamics at small distances and on the analyticity. They refer to the various vacuum amplitudes involving products of charmed quark currents: electromagnetic current as well as currents with quantum numbers JPC=0?+,0++,2++,2?+. The contribution of the continuum to some of the sum rules is small, and they are saturated by the contribution of the lowest charmonium levels. In this way we predict the widths of the two-photon decays of the charmonium states and estimate their total hadronic widths. 相似文献

High harmonic spectra show that laser-induced strong field ionization of water has a significant contribution from an inner-valence orbital. Our experiment uses the ratio of H(2)O and D(2)O high harmonic yields to isolate the characteristic nuclear motion of the molecular ionic states. The nuclear motion initiated via ionization of the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) is small and is expected to lead to similar harmonic yields for the two isotopes. In contrast, ionization of the second least bound orbital (HOMO-1) exhibits itself via a strong bending motion which creates a significant isotope effect. We elaborate on this interpretation by solving the time-dependent Schr?dinger equation to simulate strong field ionization and high harmonic generation from the water isotopes. We expect that this isotope marking scheme for probing excited ionic states in strong field processes can be generalized to other molecules. 相似文献

Fexofenadine [systematic name: (±)‐(4‐{1‐hydroxy‐4‐[4‐(hydroxydiphenylmethyl)piperidinium‐1‐yl]‐butyl}phenyl)‐2‐methylpropionate], crystallizes in two forms, viz. as the methanol disolvate, C32H39NO4·2CH4O, and as the dihydrate, C32H39NO4·2H2O. It exists in the two structures as a zwitterion, which self‐assembles as dimers sustained by a pair of charged‐assisted N—H⋯OOC hydrogen bonds. In the methanol disolvate, the supramolecular organization consists of discrete fexofenadine dimers solvated by four molecules of methanol. The dihydrate structure is sustained by a more extended hydrogen‐bonding scheme, wherein the hydrated dimeric entities are interlinked by additional hydrogen bonds. The fexofenadine molecule adopts different and differently disordered conformations of the 1‐hydroxybutyl residue in the two structures. 相似文献

This work considers communication among sensors that are deployed in a geographic region. Each sensor is a computing device with severe resource limitations, low power, slow processing and small memory. The devices are distributed (uniformly) in the geographic region. In this work we present self-stabilizing broadcast, flooding and sense of direction procedures that fit the special characteristics of the system. Imaginary polygon tilings are presented as a general scheme for supporting communication in sensor networks. Broadcasting is a common way of communicating in ad hoc mobile networks such as sensor networks. We present broadcast procedures and show how they are used by a sensor for broadcasting globally and locally, achieving sense of direction and distributing secrets that activate the sensors simultaneously at a particular time without revealing the nature of the upcoming activity. 相似文献

To analyze a wire antenna excited by a time varying voltage source or a wire scatterer excitated by transient electromagnetic incident wave, the problem is formulated in terms of a time-domain integral equation for the induced current. To solve the integral equation, we reduce it to matrix equation via the method of moments using the known-to-be-stable implicit scheme. However, rather than directly constructing and solving the relatively large matrix equation, we propose an iterative procedure which allows us to gradually obtain a solution of refined accuracy both everywhere and simultaneously at any time instance. To render this procedure rapidly converging, we use a basis of spatio-temporal wavelet functions. This basis facilitates a good approximation of the induced current using far less basis functions than would be needed if other expansions, such as standard-pulse or Fourier basis functions were chosen. The use of this basis further enables the iterative procedure to increase the temporal and spatial resolutions where required without unnecessarily affecting their levels elsewhere. 相似文献
