The penetration of a wide-band electromagnetic pulse into a conducting layer is formulated in terms of an implicit time-domain integral equation and cast into matrix form via the method of moments. Though such a wide-band problem indeed calls for a time-domain solution, one may argue that the frequency-dependent attenuation of the field penetrating the conductor could suggest a frequency-domain approach that would greatly reduce the number of unknowns. The proposed via media is to use spatio-temporal wavelet functions instead of the standard pulse basis. Owing to their multiresolution property, both in the spatial and temporal domains, these functions can span the field propagating inwardly with substantially fewer terms. The reduction in the number of basis functions used is effected by the impedance matrix compression technique, which automatically omits the basis functions whose coefficients would be insignificant due to the attenuation. Reducing the number of basis functions renders the matrix equation much smaller and the overall solution far more efficient. 相似文献

We discuss logarithmic corrections to form factors of mesons built from heavy quarks. The reactions e+e? → ηcγ and H → Jψγ are considered as an example. A novel feature as compared to the well-studied problem of the pion form factor is the existence of transitions between the quark-antiquark state and the gluonic one. O(αs) corrections are calculated exactly. An infinite series of the leading logarithmic terms (αsln[Q2/mc2])n is summed up with the help of the operator technique. Apart from ree results already known for quark operators, we use some new results referring to gluon operators and their mixing with those made from quarks. Two alternative derivations of the multiplicatively renormalizable operators are given. The first one reduces to a direct computation of the mixing matrix and its diagonalization, the second is based on conformal symmetry considerations. 相似文献

grapevine sawdust in all investigated Pleurotus species and strains. Evidence of cultivation methods having a distinct influence on the level of enzyme activities has been
demonstrated. Most of the species and strains had higher Lac activity under SSF conditions than under SF conditions. DMP oxidation
in the presence and absence of Mn2+ was detected in all investigated species and strains, but was lower under SF conditions than under SSF conditions for most

We discuss the decays ψ';'→J/ψ+π0 and ψ';'→J/ψ+η. We obtain a reliable, model-independent theoretical prediction for the ratio of the decay rates based only on the QCD lagrangian and certain low-energy theorems. The theoretical formula, apart from kinematical factors, contains only the ratio of the current quark masses, md/mu. We extend the results of previous work on vortices in systems with tensorial order parameters. Specifically, we focus our attention on systems with a Ginzburg–Landau free energy with a global U(1)P×SO(3)S×SO(3)L symmetry in the phase, spin and orbital degrees of freedom. We consider axially symmetric vortices appearing on the spin–orbit locked SO(3)S+L vacuum. We determine the conditions required on the Ginzburg–Landau parameters to allow for an axially symmetric vortex with off diagonal elements in the order parameter to appear. The collective coordinates of the axial symmetric vortices are determined. These collective coordinates are then quantized using the time dependent Ginzburg–Landau free energy to determine the number of gapless modes propagating along the vortex. 相似文献

It is assumed that nucleon consists of three quarks with no admixture of gluons or strange quarks. Gluons as are seen in deep inelastic scattering, appear only as a result of bremsstrahlung by valence quarks. The model gives unique predictions for observable quantaties and imitates the scaling behavior at Q2 ? 2 GeV2 provided the coupling constant of strong interactions is relatively small at such values of . The predictions of the model agree with the data within (10 – 20) % accuracy and links consideration of deep inelastic scattering with the most naive quark model. The effect of charmed particles production is estimated within the model developed.
