We study statistical properties of a class of non-linear models for regression analysis of count time series. Under mild conditions, it is shown that a perturbed version of the model is geometrically ergodic and possesses moments of any order. This result turns out to be instrumental on deriving large sample properties of the maximum likelihood estimators of the regression parameters. The theory is illustrated with examples. 相似文献

With the aim of developing polyclonal antibodies binding as many phenyl-N-methylcarbamate insecticides (PNMCs) as possible, IgY antibodies were produced in laying hens. Two haptens (3-(2,6-dimethyl-4-(methylcarbamoyl)phenylaminocarbonyl)propanoic acid and 4-((2,6-dimethyl-4-(methylcarbamoyl)phenylaminocarbonyl)-3,3-dimethyl)butanoic acid) were synthesized preserving the major structural features of PNMCs, by a novel synthetic pathway. These haptens differed only in the spacer arm incorporated. Immunizing antigen and coating antigen were prepared by coupling the first hapten with bovine serum albumin and the second with thyroglobulin, from porcine thyroid glands, respectively. The titre and maturation increase in the developed antibodies, in the egg yolk, were assessed by non-competitive ELISA. Avidity and cross-reactivity of the antibodies with selected pesticides were estimated by means of competitive ELISA. The produced IgYs exhibited a high binding capacity to carbaryl, trimethacarb, metolcarb, aminocarb, and promecarb. Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) have been associated with environmental pollutants. The scope of this study is to assess any potential relation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), their hydroxylated derivatives, and trace elements with heart failure via their direct determination in human serum of Greek citizens residing in different areas. Therefore, we analyzed 131 samples including cases (heart failure patients) and controls (healthy donors), and the respective demographic data were collected. Significantly higher concentrations (p < 0.05) were observed in cases’ serum regarding most of the examined PAHs and their derivatives with phenanthrene, fluorene, and fluoranthene being the most abundant (median of >50 μg L−1). Among the examined trace elements, As, Cd, Cu, Hg, Ni, and Pb were measured at statistically higher concentrations (p < 0.05) in cases’ samples, with only Cr being significantly higher in controls. The potential impact of environmental factors such as smoking and area of residence has been evaluated. Specific PAHs and trace elements could be possibly related with heart failure development. Atmospheric degradation and smoking habit appeared to have a significant impact on the analytes’ serum concentrations. PCA–logistic regression analysis could possibly reveal common mechanisms among the analytes enhancing the hypothesis that they may pose a significant risk for CVD development. 相似文献

Orange pomace (OP) is a solid waste produced in bulk as a byproduct of the orange juice industry and accounts for approximately 50% of the quantity of the fruits processed into juice. In numerous literature references there is information about diverse uses of orange pomace for the production of high-added-value products including production of natural antioxidant and antimicrobial extracts rich in polyphenols and flavonoids which can substitute the hazardous chemical antioxidants/antimicrobials used in agro-food and cosmetics sectors. In this work and for the first time, according to our knowledge, the eco-friendly aqueous vacuum microwave assisted extraction of orange pomace was investigated and optimized at real industrial scale in order to produce aqueous antioxidant/antimicrobial extracts. A Response Surface Optimization methodology with a multipoint historical data experimental design was employed to obtain the optimal values of the process parameters in order to achieve the maximum rates of extraction of OP total polyphenols and/or total flavonoids for economically optimum production at industrial scale. The three factors used for the optimization were: (a) microwave power (b) water to raw pomace ratio and (c) extraction time. Germanane (GeH), a germanium analogue of graphane, has recently attracted considerable interest because its remarkable combination of properties makes it an extremely suitable candidate to be used as 2D material for field effect devices, photovoltaics, and photocatalysis. Up to now, the synthesis of GeH has been conducted by substituting Ca by H in a β‐CaGe2 layered Zintl phase through topochemical deintercalation in aqueous HCl. This reaction is generally slow and takes place over 6 to 14 days. The new and facile protocol presented here allows to synthesize GeH at room temperature in a significantly shorter time (a few minutes), which renders this method highly attractive for technological applications. The GeH produced with this method is highly pure and has a band gap (Eg) close to 1.4 eV, a lower value than that reported for germanane synthesized using HCl, which is promising for incorporation of GeH in solar cells. 相似文献

We present a new PLL based frequency synthesizer, in which we have replaced the conventional phase frequency detector and the dividers (programmable counters) with a sequential dual input phase accumulator (DIPA), consisting of a digital circuit employing adders, registers and a ladder. The main feature of the DIPA is that the two input frequencies are not required to be normalized (divided down) to the step frequency of the synthesizer. Instead, the two different high frequencies, that is the reference and the output frequency of the synthesizer, are applied directly. The DIPA samples and normalizes their phases at very high rates, calculates their phase difference, producing an output that consists of a dc component proportional to the phase difference and harmonics of the two input high frequencies. These harmonics are high frequencies and can easily be rejected by a wide bandwidth filter of the loop, without affecting the high convergence speed of the loop. Moreover, these harmonics do not generate spurs near the output frequency. The resolution of the DIPA based synthesizer depends only on the length of the digital word of the DIPA, and its convergence speed depends on the lower of the two input frequencies. The output of the DIPA is a linear function of the phase difference of the two input frequencies and its dynamic range exceeds the limit of ±2π that governs the conventional phase detectors. Thus, the proposed frequency synthesizer based on the DIPA has low phase noise, no spurs nearby the output frequency, high resolution and fast convergence rate.
