New Levels in ^118Pd Observed in the β Decay of Very Neutron-Rich ^118Rh Isotope

We investigate the β decay of very neutron-rich ^118Rh isotope using on-line mass-separated sources which are produced by applying 25 MeV proton induced symmetric fission of natural uranium at the IGISOL facility. The β-γ and γ-γ coincidence spectroscopy is employed to establish the level scheme of daughter nucleus ^118Pd. Five low-lying new levels are identified for the first time with tentative spin and parity assignments based on the even-mass Pd systematics.

A New View on Fuzzy Hypermodules

We describe the relationship between the fuzzy sets and the algebraic hyperstructures. In fact, this paper is a continuation of the ideas presented by Davvaz in （Fuzzy Sets Syst., 117： 477- 484, 2001） and Bhakat and Das in （Fuzzy Sets Syst., 80： 359-368, 1996）. The concept of the quasicoincidence of a fuzzy interval value with an interval-valued fuzzy set is introduced and this is a natural generalization of the quasi-coincidence of a fuzzy point in fuzzy sets. By using this new idea, the concept of interval-valued （α,β）-fuzzy sub-hypermodules of a hypermodule is defined. ESTIMATE OF THE UPPER CRITICAL FIELD AND CONCENTRATION FOR SUPERCONDUCTOR

The effect of an applied magnetic field on an inhomogeneous superconductor is studied and the value of the upper critical magnetic field Hc3 at which superconductivity can nucleate is estimated. In addition, the authors locate the concentration of the order parameter, which depends on the inhomogeneous term a(x). Unlikely to the homogeneous case, the order parameter may concentrate in the interior of the superconducting material, due to the influence of the inhomogeneous term a(x).

15C的中子晕结构研究

实验测量了83A MeV ^14,15C的核反应总截面(σ_R)及¹⁵C产生^14,15C和¹⁴C产生¹³C的动量分布(P_//). 分析得到了¹⁵C产生¹⁴C和¹³C的动量分布半高宽(FWHM)分别为71±9MeV/c和223±28MeV/c, 而¹⁴C产生¹³C的FWHM为195±21MeV/c. 从¹⁵C和¹⁴C产生¹³C的FWHM与Goldhaber模型的预言基本一致. 而¹⁵C产生¹⁴C的FWHM却要比该模型计算小得多. 同时观测到¹⁵C的σ_R比相邻核有反常增加. 在Glauber模型框架中, 对实验测得的P_//和σ_R进行了探讨. P_//和σ_R的分析结果同时显示¹⁵C的最后一个中主要处于s_1/2态, 具有中子晕结构.
