本文详细叙述了DFB激光器的设计要点和新的工艺。采用一级全息光栅和二步液相外延法批量研制出高稳定单纵模工作的1.55μm分布反馈激光器(DFB—LD)。外延片成品率>40%。器件特性:25℃时阈值电流20mA,单面光功率>10mw,主边模抑制比SMSR达43dB(λ/4相移光栅),谱线宽度△ν-20dB=0.3nm,调制速率>1.8GHz。可靠性测试显示:高温监测光谱稳定,25°C时阈值退化率△Ith/t<0.3mA/kh,对应器件预估寿命将超过10万h。  相似文献

The authors formulate and implement a numerical mode-matching (NMM) method to model electrode-type resistivity tools in invaded thin beds. The authors derive the low-frequency approximation of the Maxwell's equations to obtain the partial differential equation for the potential field. The new NMM program is validated by comparing the numerical results with those obtained from other dc programs. It is found that this new program is much faster than the program using the finite-element method (FEM), and hence is useful for routine interpretation of resistivity logs and for inversion  相似文献

Several soil- and atmospheric-correcting variants of the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) have been proposed to improve the accuracy in estimating biophysical plant parameters. In this study, a sensitivity analysis, utilizing simulated model data, was conducted on the NDVI and variants by analyzing the atmospheric- and soil-perturbed responses as a continuous function of leaf area index. Percent relative error and vegetation equivalent “noise” (VEN) were calculated for soil and atmospheric influences, separately and combined. The NDVI variants included the soil-adjusted vegetation index (SAVI), the atmospherically resistant vegetation index (ARVI), the soil-adjusted and atmospherically resistant vegetation index (SARVI), the modified SAVI (MSAVI), and modified SARVI (MSARVI). Soil and atmospheric error were of similar magnitudes, but varied with the vegetation index. All new variants outperformed the NDVI. The atmospherically resistant versions minimized atmospheric noise, but enhanced soil noise, while the soil adjusted variants minimized soil noise, but remained sensitive to the atmosphere. The SARVI, which had both a soil and atmosphere calibration term, performed the best with a relative error of 10 percent and VEN of ±0.33 LAI. It has been reported that high-temperature (~1100°C) N2 O-annealed oxide can block boron penetration from poly-Si gates to the silicon substrate. However, this high-temperature step may be inappropriate for the low thermal budgets required of deep-submicron ULSI MOSFETs. Low-temperature (900~950°C) N2O-annealed gate oxide is also a good barrier to boron penetration. For the first time, the change in channel doping profile due to compensation of arsenic and boron ionized impurities was resolved using MOS C-V measurement techniques. It was found that the higher the nitrogen concentration incorporated at Si/SiO2 interface, the more effective is the suppression of boron penetration. The experimental results also suggest that, for 60~110 Å gate oxides, a certain amount of nitrogen (~2.2%) incorporated near the Si/SiO2 interface is essential to effectively prevent boron diffusing into the underlying silicon substrate  相似文献

High temperature superconducting (HTSC) multifilamentary (MT) Bi(Pb)-2223/Ag tapes with reproducible critical current density of between 15000 and 20000 A/cm2 at 77 K in self field have been achieved using the standard flat-rolling method as the intermediate deformation between sintering periods. Long lengths of Bi(Pb)-2223/Ag MT tapes up to 43 m prepared by the conventional method of powder-in-tube (PIT) have been successfully produced on a laboratory scale. Several coils have been fabricated from sections of the long length tape, using the co-wound wind-and-react (W&R) procedure for the pancake-shaped and the singly-wound W&R as well as R&W procedure for the solenoidal coils. A novel W&R solenoidal coil (reaching ~973 ampere-turns) wound on an alumina ceramic tube generates a DC field of ~19 mT at 77 K and has been fabricated together with five pancake-shaped coils, each generating an average of ~5 mT at 77 K. These are destined for magnet construction with a possible combined calculated field of ~0.04 T at 77 K (with liquid nitrogen as a coolant)  相似文献

The Stewart platform manipulator is a fully parallel kinematic linkage system that has great advantages over typical serial link robots. However, one major problem in controlling this kind of manipulator is that, due to its closed kinematic chain and parallel-link constrained structure, it is impossible to derive an explicit kinematic solution. This paper proposes a simplified algorithm to numerically solve the forward kinematics of a six-links Stewart platform. Taking advantage of some fundamental geometric operations, the proposed algorithm involves only 3 nonlinear simultaneous equations. The explicit expressions are derived for some special configurations which can directly give the geometric limitations to motion in terms of the geometric dimensions of the platforms and the legs.Research was supported by Texas Advanced Technology program under grant 003656-008 and National Science Foundation under grant MSS9211970.  相似文献

The design of joint source/channel coders in situations where there is residual redundancy at the output of the source coder is examined. It has previously been shown that this residual redundancy can be used to provide error protection without a channel coder. In this paper, this approach is extended to conventional source coder/convolutional coder combinations. A family of nonbinary encoders is developed which more efficiently use the residual redundancy in the source coder output. It is shown through simulation results that the proposed systems outperform conventional source-channel coder pairs with gains of greater than 9 dB in the reconstruction SNR at high probability of error  相似文献

In the reversible addition–fragmentation transfer (RAFT) copolymerization of two monomers, even with the simple terminal model, there are two kinds of macroradical and two kinds of polymeric RAFT agent with different R groups. Because the structure of the R group could exert a significant influence on the RAFT process, RAFT copolymerization may behave differently from RAFT homopolymerization. The RAFT copolymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and styrene (St) in miniemulsion was investigated. The performance of the RAFT copolymerization of MMA/St in miniemulsion was found to be dependent on the feed monomer compositions. When St is dominant in the feed monomer composition, RAFT copolymerization is well controlled in the whole range of monomer conversion. However, when MMA is dominant, RAFT copolymerization may be, in some cases, out of control in the late stage of copolymerization, and characterized by a fast increase in the polydispersity index (PDI). The RAFT process was found to have little influence on composition evolution during copolymerization. The synthesis of the well‐defined gradient copolymers and poly[St‐b‐(St‐co‐MMA)] block copolymer by RAFT miniemulsion copolymerization was also demonstrated. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, the asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE) technique is first applied to the conventional eigenmode expansion method for characterizing a power/ground (P/G) plane pair and analyzing the simultaneous switching noise on such plane pairs for printed circuit boards or multichip modules. The application of AWE avoids a large number of iterations in computing the impedance frequency response of a P/G plane pair structure and greatly reduces the computation time. Meanwhile, to obtain an accurate solution in an entire frequency range, we employ the complex frequency hopping technique which can help select multiple expansion points. In addition, the proposed approach can also be used to characterize the P/G plane pair structures with irregular shapes. Three examples demonstrate its high efficiency and good accuracy.  相似文献
