用光束诱导电流(OBIC)法研究的高压平面结

本文介绍了光束诱导电流法(OBIC)及其在高压平面结方面的应用。对有圆柱形边界的p~+n二极管进行了测量。测量结果说明了在表面有正、负电荷存在时OBIC信号的响应。 本文指出,虽然多层场环结构在一般情况下难以优化,但通过把OBIC测量与Briger模型相结合,可使其得到改善。在掺杂浓度为9×10~(13)/cm~3的n型衬底上,做优化了的四个场环结构,其耐压可达1550V。 在反偏的平面结中,最大载流子倍增点在其表面下几个微米处(视结深而定)。我们利用OBIC信号与波长的依赖关系发现,具有束深为20μm的横向可变掺杂结构的击穿在表面下5～10μm之间。     

Conformational flexibility of a synthetic glycosylaminoglycan bound to a fibroblast growth factor. FGF-1 recognizes both the (1)C(4) and (2)S(O) conformations of a bioactive heparin-like hexasaccharide

The first direct NMR determination of the conformation of a conformationally flexible heparin-like hexasaccharide bound to a key receptor, FGF-1, is described. The determination has been based on the use of a 13C-labeled protein and a regular 12C sugar. FGF-1 recognizes several conformations of the iduronic moieties of the hexasaccharide. Therefore, this case is different than that described for the controversial recognition of heparin-like saccharides by AT-III, which seems to recognize just one conformation of the iduronic acid residues.     

Spatial sampling for night levels estimation in urban environments

The procedure for spatial sampling in order to find out the relation between L(day) and L(night) for urban noise is presented. From that data, other parameters like L(dn) or L(den) can be easily obtained from L(day) values. To this end, a long-term measuring campaign was carried out in eight cities of different types and sizes in northeastern Spain. The statistical treatment of the measures was based on a characterization of the streets in view of their type, including factors such as traffic and land use, which enabled a final classification of six types of streets. The results show that streets of the same type located in different cities do not have the same value for L(day)-L(night), due to socioeconomic factors, but analyzed city by city have a close to normal (or t-Student) distribution. Under this behavior, it is demonstrated that a sample of between 14 and 25 points, depending on the city characteristics, is needed in order to calculate L(day)-L(night), with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of +/- 1 dB(A).

Macrocyclic chiral receptors toward enantioselective recognition of naproxen

[structure: see text] A macrocyclic receptor based on a bischromenylurea and an alpha,alpha'-(o,o'-dialkyl)diphenyl-p-xylylenediamine spacer provides a C(2) chiral cavity to associate carboxylates by H-bonds. The extent of the selectivity obtained for the racemic receptor 2 and enantiomerically pure (S)-naproxen is 7.2:1. Steric repulsions close to the cavity are decisive for the chiral selectivity.
