Triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) is a newly invented technology that can effectively harvest ambient mechanical energy from various motions with promising applications in portable electronics, self‐powered sensor networks, etc. Here, by coupling TENG and a thin film of ferroelectric polymer, a new application is designed for TENG as a self‐powered memory system for recording a mechanical displacement/trace. The output voltage produced by the TENG during motion can polarize the dipole moments in the ferroelectric thin film. Later, by applying a displacement current measurement to detect the polarization density in the ferroelectric film, the motion information of the TENG can be directly read. The sliding TENG and the single‐electrode TENG matrix are both utilized for realizing the memorization of the motion trace in one‐dimensional and two‐dimensional space, respectively. Currently, the ferroelectric thin film with a size of 3.1 mm2 can record a minimum area changing of 30 mm2 and such resolution can still be possibly improved. These results prove that the ferroelectric polymer is an effective memory material to work together with TENG and thereby the fabricated memory system can potentially be used as a self‐powered displacement monitor.  相似文献

Millimeter-wave (mm-wave) bandpass filters are presented using the standard 0.18-mum CMOS process. Without any postprocessing steps, thin film microstrip (TFMS) structure is properly constructed on the low-resistivity silicon substrate, aiming at reducing the substrate loss and crosstalk to a large extent. Using the broadside-coupled scheme, a tight coupling is achieved so as to make up a class of low-loss and broadband TFMS bandpass filters in the mm-wave range. To achieve a small size, one-stage and two-stage filters with sinuous-shaped resonators are designed and fabricated. Distinctive terahertz (THz) absorption spectra of ninhydrin and indane-1,2,3-trione ranging from 0.5 to 4.5 THz were observed firstly in our experiment by terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS). The dehydration process of ninhydrin was also monitored online. The experimental results indicate that THz spectroscopy is highly sensitive to the crystal structure, weak intermolecular interactions, and the environmental change. Multitechniques including differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) were also carried out to further investigate ninhydrin and indane-1,2,3-trione. And the results support the reliability of THz spectroscopy. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations based on the samples’ crystalline structures were performed for better understanding the THz characteristic spectra. The calculations agree with the experimental observation, and the corresponding vibrational modes of ninhydrin and indane-1,2,3-trione are assigned.

Inverted organic solar cells (i-OSCs) provide an exciting opportunity for commercialization owing to their excellent device air stability. However, light soaking (LS) issue generally occurs in metal oxide based i-OSCs, causing drastically decreased performance. The underlying root of LS effect is not clearly clarified until now. Herein, it is demonstrated that the surface oxygen defects on metal oxide nanoparticles, such as chemisorbed superoxide (O2−) and hydroxide (OH) dangling bonds, are the main reasons for LS issue in i-OSCs. The O2− layer induces band bending at the cathode interface and increases the work function (WF) of metal oxide, thus leading to inefficient charge transport. The dangling bonds serve as interfacial trap states and cause non-radiative recombination, thus leading to the reduced open circuit voltage (Voc). With ultraviolet (UV) illumination, the surface oxygen defects are interacted with photogenerated carriers, thereby improving the photovoltaic performance. Additionally, UV pretreatment of metal oxide films is employed to eliminate the LS issue and the resulting device yields significantly improved fill factors from 50.20% to 73.50% in the pristine SnO2 based i-OSCs. This study reveals the origin of LS effect in i-OSCs and proposes a suggested model for LS mechanism.  相似文献

Polydimethylsiloxanes (PDMS) foam as one of next-generation polymer foam materials shows poor surface adhesion and limited functionality, which greatly restricts its potential applications. Fabrication of advanced PDMS foam materials with multiple functionalities remains a critical challenge. In this study, unprecedented self-adhesive PDMS foam materials are reported with worm-like rough structure and reactive groups for fabricating multifunctional PDMS foam nanocomposites decorated with MXene/cellulose nanofiber (MXene/CNF) interconnected network by a facile silicone foaming and dip-coating strategy followed by silane surface modification. Interestingly, such self-adhesive PDMS foam produces strong interfacial adhesion with the hybrid MXene/CNF nano-coatings. Consequently, the optimized PDMS foam nanocomposites have excellent surface super-hydrophobicity (water contact angle of ≈159o), tunable electrical conductivity (from 10−8 to 10 S m−1), stable compressive cyclic reliability in both wide-temperature range (from −20 to 200 oC) and complex environments (acid, sodium, and alkali conditions), outstanding flame resistance (LOI value of >27% and low smoke production rate), good thermal insulating performance and reliable strain sensing in various stress modes and complex environmental conditions. It provides a new route for the rational design and development of advanced PDMS foam nanocomposites with versatile multifunctionalities for various promising applications such as intelligent healthcare monitoring and fire-safe thermal insulation.  相似文献
