This paper is devoted to study the modified holographic dark energy model by taking its different aspects in the flat Kaluza-Klein universe. We construct the equation of state parameter which evolutes the universe from quintessence region towards the vacuum. It is found that the modified holographic model exhibits instability against small perturbations in the early epoch of the universe but becomes stable in the later times. We also develop its correspondence with some scalar field dark energy models. It is interesting to mention here that all the results are consistent with the present observations. 相似文献

This paper carries out the integration of a few nonlinear wave equations to obtain topological as well as non-topological soliton solutions. The mathematical techniques used to obtain the soliton solutions are He’s variational iteration method, the tanh method and the ansatz method. The nonlinear wave equations that are studied are coupled mKdV equations, Drinfeld-Sokolov equation and its generalized version. Current-voltage (I-V) characteristics for metal-molecule-metal junctions formed from three classes of molecules measured with a simple crossed-wire molecular electronics test-bed are reported. Junction conductance as a function of molecular structure is consistent with I-V characteristics calculated from extended Hückel theory coupled with a Green's function approach, and can be understood on the basis of bond-length alternation. 相似文献

Optical and x-ray scattering studies of a chiral, organosiloxane smectic-A liquid crystal indicate a large field induced optical tilt of up to 31 degrees accompanied by a very small contraction of the smectic layers. This result suggests that the molecules have a nonzero tilt even with no applied field, and that the primary effect of the field is to induce long range order in the direction of the molecular tilt. 相似文献

In this Note, we present a temporal linear stability analysis of symmetric developing flows slightly perturbed from Poiseuille flow. The Chebyshev spectral collocation method is used to resolve the Orr–Sommerfeld equation. For the main flow, the solution considered is analytic. In this paper we report the antimicrobial, antiradical and urease inhibitory potential along with photochemical investigation of the crude extracts of Cyphostemma digitatum Lam. Phytochemical screening of both the crude (hot/cold) alcoholic and aqueous extracts of C. digitatum showed the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, coumarins, steroids, terpenoids and tannins. The crude methanolic extract (hot/cold) exhibited good antioxidant activity, while the aqueous extract was a weak antioxidant. The crude methanolic extract was found to be more active against Bacillus subtilis, while both the extracts showed moderate antifungal potential, the methanolic crude extract showed good urease inhibitory activity compared with the aqueous crude extract. 相似文献

The thickness dependence of ferroelectric polarization in a SmC* liquid crystal exhibiting a large value of polarization has been investigated. It is observed that the saturation value of the polarization shows no significant thickness dependence. This observation is in accordance with a recent theoretical framework developed by Galerne. It is shown that the wall thickness, where the polarization undergoes a reversal, and hence the self-screening effect, is insignificant in the material studied. 相似文献

Internet of Vehicles(IoV)is a new style of vehicular ad hoc network that is used to connect the sensors of each vehicle with each other and with other vehicles’sensors through the internet.These sensors generate different tasks that should be analyzed and processed in some given period of time.They send the tasks to the cloud servers but these sending operations increase bandwidth consumption and latency.Fog computing is a simple cloud at the network edge that is used to process the jobs in a short period of time instead of sending them to cloud computing facilities.In some situations,fog computing cannot execute some tasks due to lack of resources.Thus,in these situations it transfers them to cloud computing that leads to an increase in latency and bandwidth occupation again.Moreover,several fog servers may be fuelled while other servers are empty.This implies an unfair distribution of jobs.In this research study,we shall merge the software defined network(SDN)with IoV and fog computing and use the parked vehicle as assistant fog computing node.This can improve the capabilities of the fog computing layer and help in decreasing the number of migrated tasks to the cloud servers.This increases the ratio of time sensitive tasks that meet the deadline.In addition,a new load balancing strategy is proposed.It works proactively to balance the load locally and globally by the local fog managers and SDN controller,respectively.The simulation experiments show that the proposed system is more efficient than VANET-Fog-Cloud and IoV-Fog-Cloud frameworks in terms of average response time and percentage of bandwidth consumption,meeting the deadline,and resource utilization. 相似文献

The continued emergence of human coronaviruses (hCoVs) in the last few decades has posed an alarming situation and requires advanced cross-protective strategies against these pandemic viruses. Among these, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV), Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV), and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) have been highly associated with lethality in humans. Despite the challenges posed by these viruses, it is imperative to develop effective antiviral therapeutics and vaccines for these human-infecting viruses. The proteomic similarity between the receptor-binding domains (RBDs) among the three viral species offers a potential target for advanced cross-protective vaccine designs. In this study, putative immunogenic epitopes including Cytotoxic T Lymphocytes (CTLs), Helper T Lymphocytes (HTLs), and Beta-cells (B-cells) were predicted for each RBD-containing region of the three highly pathogenic hCoVs. This was followed by the structural organization of peptide- and mRNA-based prophylactic vaccine designs. The validated 3D structures of these epitope-based vaccine designs were subjected to molecular docking with human TLR4. Furthermore, the CTL and HTL epitopes were processed for binding with respective human Lymphocytes Antigens (HLAs). In silico cloning designs were obtained for the prophylactic vaccine designs and may be useful in further experimental designs. Additionally, the epitope-based vaccine designs were evaluated for immunogenic activity through immune simulation. Further studies may clarify the safety and efficacy of these prophylactic vaccine designs through experimental testing against these human-pathogenic coronaviruses. 相似文献
