A tridentate hydrazone precursor, N′-[1-(pyridin-2-yl)ethylidene]acetohydrazide (L) (1:1 refluxed product of acetichydrazide and 2-acetylpyridine), produced two octahedral CuII and NiII derivatives, [CuL2]·NO3 (1) and [NiL2]·ClO4·H2O (2). Both are subjected to X-ray diffraction system, and structural investigation shows that the central metal atom (CuII or NiII) adopts a distorted octahedral geometry with N4O2 donor sets by coordination of a pair of independent hydrazone precursors. Besides X-ray study, IR and UV-vis spectra, thermal analysis and room temperature magnetic moments are utilized for establishing significant characteristics of both complexes. It is apparent that the M-Npyridine bonds are slightly longer than the M-Nimino bonds, Cu1-N1 and Cu1-N4 [2.300(2) and 2.038(2) ?] for 1 and Ni1-N1 and Ni1-N4 [2.075(2) and 2.084(1) ?] for 2, Cu1-N2 and Cu1-N5 [2.062(1) and 1.932(1) ?] for 1 and Ni1-N2 and Ni1-N5 [2.008(2) and 1.975(2) ?] for 2, respectively. As per our observation, the effective magnetic moment value (μeff) is found to be 1.77 B.M. for 1 and 3.06 BM for 2, respectively.  相似文献

An efficient large scale synthesis of 2-amino-4-chloropyridine (3) has been achieved through a modification of existing literature procedures. Compound 3 was used to prepare the previously unreported 2-amino-4,5-dichloropyridine (4). The known 2-amino-3,4-dichloropyridine (5) and 2-amino-3,4,5-trichloropyridine (6) were prepared from 3 by new routes and in higher yields than previously reported.  相似文献

We describe polarizing films formed from the lyotropic liquid crystalline phases of dyes dissolved in water. The dye polarizers possess a high dichroic ratio close to that of conventional polarizers. In addition, the dried dye films provide a uniform homogeneous orientation for thermotropic nematic materials. Therefore, thin dye films can simultaneously serve as internal polarizers and as alignment agents. These properties make them especially suitable for twisted nematic devices based on low cost birefringent plastic substrates.  相似文献

Marine feed ingredients derived from cephalopods (e.g., squid) and crustaceans (e.g., krill) are commercially used to improve the palatability of shrimp diets. Increase in global demand for shrimps has resulted in overfishing of these marine organisms and is a matter of concern. Insect protein hydrolysate could be a sustainable alternative for the possible replacement of these marine feed ingredients. During this study, four formulations: diet A (control: not containing any palatability enhancer), diet B (containing squid meal and krill oil), diet C (containing 1% insect protein hydrolysate), and diet D (containing 2% insect protein hydrolysate) were tested for (1) time required by first subject to begin feeding (time to strike) and (2) palatability in Litopenaeus vannamei. Additionally, the chemical composition of all four diet formulations was also analyzed. Results indicate that all diets had similar crude composition. The major essential amino acids in all diets were leucine and lysine, whereas eicosapentaenoic acid was the major omega-3 fatty acid in all diets. There were no significant differences between the mean time to strike for all the tested formulations. Palatability of tested formulations was found in the following order: diet D > diet C > diet B = diet A (p < 0.05), indicating that addition of squid meal and krill oil has no effect on palatability in comparison to control, whereas inclusion of insect protein hydrolysates significantly improves the palatability of formulations. Palatability enhancement potential of insect protein hydrolysate could be attributed to the high free amino acid content and water solubility in comparison to squid meal.  相似文献
