Helicity‐Encoded Molecular Strands: Efficient Access by the Hydrazone Route and Structural Features

Control over the folding of molecular strands may be achieved by appropriate choice of the constituting subunits, in particular for chains of specific heterocycles such as sequences of directly connected pyridine (py) and pyrimidine (pym) rings, which are known to fold into extended helical structures. Since the hydrazone (hyz) group represents an isomorphic analogue of a py site, the condensation of hydrazine and carboxaldehyde derivatives of pym offers a very efficient approach to strands incorporating hyz instead of py units and constituted by sequences of alternating hyz and pym groups. A series of such strands of different lengths, up to ten hyz units, i.e., 1 – 7 , were synthesized. Their spectral properties indicate that they fold indeed into helical shapes. Extensive characterization was performed in solution by ¹HNMR spectroscopy and in the solid state by determination of the crystal structures of eight such strands. They all display the expected helical geometry with up to 3 ¹/₃ turns and direct stacking contacts. The efficiency and flexibility of the synthetic approach as well as its wide potential for generation of diversity through lateral decoration make the (hyz? pym) subunit a particularly attractive helicity codon.     

Preparation ,Structural Characterization and Luminescent Property of Binucleasr Silver（Ⅰ）Complex Formed by Benzotriazole and 1—Hydroxymethyl Benzotriazole

Dinuclear silver (I) six‐membered ring complex [Ag₂ (bta)₂ ‐(hmbta)₂] (ClO₄)₂ (3) has been synthesized by the reaction of benzotriazole (bta) (1) and 1‐hydroxymethyl benzotriazole (hmbta) (2) with Ag (CH₃CN)₄ClO₄. The structures of compound 2 and Complex 3 have been studied by single crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. The change of luminescent intensity of 1, 2 and 3 was reported. Compound 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic system with space group P2 (1)/c, a = 0.7655 (10) nm, b = 1.0126 (14) nm, c =0.9502 (13) nm, β = 95.07 (2)°, V = 0.7337 (17) nm³ and Z = 4. Complex 3 crystallizes in the triclinic system with space group P1, a = 0.73611 (18) nm, b = 0.9152 (2) nm, c = 1.2277 (3) nm, β = 87.170 (5)°, V = 0.8221 (3) nm³ and Z = 1. The main structural feature of complex 3 is a symmetric dinuclear six‐membered ring formed by two silver (I) atoms and four N‐atoms from two benzotriazoles. The second structural feature of complex 3 is the τ‐τ stacking interaction between two adjacent molecular planes, which forms the two‐dimentional layer structure. Besides, compared with 2, the luminescent intensity of complex 3 shows a remarkable enhancement.     

1,3,4,6-四-O-乙酰基-β-D-氨基葡萄糖的合成

分别用对甲氧基苯甲醛和苯甲醛保护D-氨基葡萄糖的氨基，再将羟基用乙酰基保护，以氯化氢脱去氨基上的保护基团，最后脱去氯化氢得到1，3，4，6-四-0-乙酰基-β-D-氨基葡萄糖。两种方法的总产率分别为59％和61％。道关键中间体3b未见报，其结构经^1H NMR表征。     

State-to-state reaction dynamics of CH3I photodissociation at 304 nm

The detailed reaction dynamics of CH(3)I photodissociation at 304 nm were studied by using high-resolution long time-delayed core-sampling photofragment translation spectroscopy. The vibrational state distributions of the photofragment, i.e., CH(3), are directly resolved due to the high kinetic resolution of this experiment for the first time. CH(3) radicals produced from I((3)Q(0+)), I((1)Q(1) <--( 3)Q(0+)), and I((3)Q(1)) channels are populated in different vibrational state distributions. The I((3)Q(0+)) and I((3)Q(1)) channels show only progressions in the nu2'(a2") umbrella bending mode, and the I((1)Q(1) <-- (3)Q(0+)) channel shows both progression in the nu2' umbrella bending mode and a small amount of excitation in the nu1'(a1') C-H stretching mode. The photodissociation processes from the vibrational hot band of CH(3)I (upsilon3 = 1, upsilon3 = 2) were also detected, primarily because of the absorption probability from the vibrational excited states, i.e., hot bands are relatively enhanced. Photofragments from the hot bands of CH(3)I show a cold vibrational distribution compared to that from the vibrational ground state of CH(3)I. The I* quantum yield and the curve crossing possibility were also studied for the ground vibrational state of CH(3)I. The potential energy at the curve crossing point was calculated to be 32 790 cm(-1) by using the one-dimensional Landau-Zener model.     

Studies on the Physicochemical Properties, Structure and Antitumor Activity of an Oligosaccharide Homologue SnS-2 from the Root of Scrophularia ningpoensis Hemsh

An oligosaccharide homologue named SnS-2 was isolated from the root of Scrophularia ningpoensis Hemsl.SnS-2 was purified by means of gel-permeation chromatography and ion-exchange chromatography. Its physicochemical properties, including carbohydrate content and molecular weight were determined. The structure of SnS-2 was elucidated by chemical methods along with ^1H and ^13C NMR spectroscopy, including two-dimensional DQCOSY and H-detected ^1H, ^13C HMQC experiments. These results show that SnS-2 possesses a backbone consisting of terminal α-Galp-(1→, α-Galp-(1→6), α-Glcp-(1→6) and nonreducing end β-Fruf-(2→. The bioactive assay showed that it could inhibit the growth of Lewis pulmonary carcinoma implanted in mice.

报道了溶剂对钯催化的叔丁基乙炔低聚反应化学选择性的调控作用. 反应可在苯-正丁醇双组分溶剂体系中顺利进行, 当双组分溶剂体系中苯占优势比例时, 反应发生递次的三分子炔烃顺式插入, 经由顺式s-烯钯中间体生成环三聚产物1,3,5-三叔丁基苯; 而当双组分溶剂中正丁醇组分上升至一定比例, 反应选择性生成(3Z,5Z)-2,2,7,7-四甲基- 3,6-二氯-3,5-辛二烯或(3Z,5Z)-2,2,7,7-四甲基-3,6-二溴-3,5-辛二烯, 这是由于正丁醇可显著加快C—Pd σ键的断裂, 并与叔丁基乙炔、σ-烯钯中间体形成弱氢键作用力, 同时也与Pd(II)和Cu(II)等离子存在配位效应. 在强极性质子溶剂H₂O中, 反应生成偶联双炔: 2,2,7,7-四甲基-3,5-辛二炔. 文中就反应溶剂体系、钯铜催化剂及反应可能机理等分别进行了探讨.     

Hydrogenated polybutadiene–polymethyl methacrylate (HPB–PMMA) block copolymer. I. Synthesis of polybutadiene–polymethyl methacrylate (PB–PMMA) block copolymer

To get hydrogenated polybutadiene-polymethyl methacrylate (HPB-b-PMMA) block copolymer to be used as a compatibilizer for blends of polyolefin/polar polymer, PB-b-PMMA was synthesized by anionic-free radical mechanism transformation polymerization. Selective extraction, gradient elution thin layer chromatography, and oil-oil emulsion separation techniques were tried to attempt to separate the copolymerization products. Hydrogenation of the PB sequence in PB-b-PMMA yielded HPB-b-PMMA. The compatibilizing function of PB-b-PMMA was shown in blending experiments. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.     

Investigation of the detection limit for the determination,by pyrolysis-capillary GC,of the thickness of ultra thin PMMA layers coated on to PET film

The determination of nanometer thick layers of poly(methyl methacrylate) coated on to the surface of poly(ethylene terephthalate) film has been investigated by high resolution pyrolysis gas chromatography without sample pretreatment or modification of the instrumentation used. A good linear relationship was observed between the quantity of the characteristic pyrolysate and the thickness of the poly(methyl methacrylate) layer; the detection limit was sufficient to enable the quantitation of poly(methyl methacrylate)-to-poly(ethylene terephthalate) film thickness ratios of 1:20000 in composite materials.

CHaOH－HzO体系具有非常特殊的性质，同时在工业生产及临床治疗方面有着十分广泛的应用，文献中有大量地从不同角度就这类体系进行研究的报道．然而，就N3CI及KCI－CH30H－H20体系的电导研究而言，文献中仅有关干KCI－CH30H－H20（间隔20％CH30H）的部分研究工作．作为全面、系
