We report viscometric data collected in a Couette rheometry on dilute, single‐solvent polystyrene (PS)/dioctyl phthalate (DOP) solutions over a variety of polymer molecular weights (5.5 × 105Mw ≤ 3.0 × 106 Da) and system temperatures (288 K ≤ T ≤ 318 K). In view of the essential viscometric features, the current data may be classified into three categories: The first concerns all the investigated solutions at low shear rates, where the solution properties are found to agree excellently with the Zimm model predictions. The second includes all sample solutions, except for high‐molecular‐weight PS samples (Mw ≥ 2.0 × 106 Da), where excellent time–temperature superposition is observed for the steady‐state polymer viscosity at constant polymer molecular weights. No similar superposition applies at a constant temperature but varied polymer molecular weights, however. The third appears to be characteristic of dilute high‐molecular‐weight polymer solutions, for which the effects of temperature on the viscosity curve are further complicated at high shear rates. The implications concerning the relative importance of hydrodynamic interactions, segmental interactions, and chain extensibility with increasing polymer molecular weight, system temperature, and shear rate are discussed. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, a timed-place Petri net (TPPN) model for flexible manufacturing systems (FMSs) is constructed, which contains two major submodels: the stationary transportation model; and the variable process flow model. For multiple automated guided vehicle (AGV) systems, the authors embed a simple rule and introduce a push-AGV strategy in a TPPN model to solve the collision and traffic jam problems of such vehicles. Since a firing sequence of the TPPN from the initial marking to the final marking can be seen as a schedule of the modeled FMS, by using an A* based search algorithm, namely, the limited-expansion A algorithm, an effective schedule of the part processing can be obtained. To show the promising potential of the proposed work, a prototype FMS is used as a target system for implementation. The experiment results assert that the job-shop scheduling problem can always be satisfactorily solved  相似文献

High temperature superconducting (HTSC) multifilamentary (MT) Bi(Pb)-2223/Ag tapes with reproducible critical current density of between 15000 and 20000 A/cm2 at 77 K in self field have been achieved using the standard flat-rolling method as the intermediate deformation between sintering periods. Long lengths of Bi(Pb)-2223/Ag MT tapes up to 43 m prepared by the conventional method of powder-in-tube (PIT) have been successfully produced on a laboratory scale. Several coils have been fabricated from sections of the long length tape, using the co-wound wind-and-react (W&R) procedure for the pancake-shaped and the singly-wound W&R as well as R&W procedure for the solenoidal coils. A novel W&R solenoidal coil (reaching ~973 ampere-turns) wound on an alumina ceramic tube generates a DC field of ~19 mT at 77 K and has been fabricated together with five pancake-shaped coils, each generating an average of ~5 mT at 77 K. These are destined for magnet construction with a possible combined calculated field of ~0.04 T at 77 K (with liquid nitrogen as a coolant)  相似文献

Parallel multi-inverter systems can be designed to have the advantages of expandable output power, improved reliability, and easy N+X redundancy operation. However, a current-sharing control scheme has to be employed to enable the inverters to share the load current equally. A multi-inverter system with instantaneous average-current-sharing scheme is presented in this paper. By introducing a disturbance source to represent all the sources that may cause current unbalances, a model of the system can be built. Some key issues are discussed based on the model, including stability of the current-sharing controller, impedance characteristics and voltage regulation. Three experimental 110 VAC/1.1 kVA inverters are built and paralleled to verify the theoretical predictions.  相似文献

A method has been developed for the qualitative analysis of paeonol, paeoniflorin and their derivatives in Paeoniae Radix by high-performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI-MS). Gradient elution with acetonitrile-water solvent system was employed in an HPLC-ESI-MS study. The negative-ion ESI mode was suitable for these compounds. The peaks were identified by their mass spectra, UV spectra and fragments of their MS2 spectra. The structures of three unknown compounds are inferred in this paper.  相似文献

To enable the effective and reliable use of structural adhesive bonding in automotive applications, the cohesive properties of a joint need to be determined over a wide range of loading rates. In this paper, a strategy for determining these properties has been described and used to analyze a set of experimental results presented in a companion paper. In the particular system studied, a crack growing in a toughened quasi-static mode could make a catastrophic transition to a brittle mode of fracture. The cohesive parameters for both the toughened and brittle modes of crack growth were determined by comparing numerical predictions from cohesive-zone simulations to the results of experimental tests performed using double-cantilever beam specimens and tensile tests. The cohesive parameters were found to be essentially rate-independent for the toughened mode, but the toughness dropped by a factor of four upon a transition to the brittle mode. The results of wedge tests were used as an independent verification of the cohesive parameters, and to verify that the quasi-static properties remained rate-independent to very high crack velocities corresponding to conditions of low-velocity impact. The effects of friction, and the use of the wedge test to determine cohesive parameters, were also explored.  相似文献
