Single crystals of Sr4Mn2.09Cu0.91O9 have been grown by flux synthesis and the structure, closely related to the hexagonal perovskite 2H, was solved from single‐crystal X‐ray data in space group P321. The structure of Sr4Mn2CuO9 is composed of chains of face‐sharing polyhedra with a sequence of two octahedra and one trigonal prism. The octahedra are filled by Mn atoms and the Cu atoms are randomly distributed at the centres of the square faces of the trigonal prism. A stacking fault is observed within one of the two chains, which can be attributed to a shifting of the chain along the c axis. 相似文献

The adsorption of Mo from dilute aqueous solutions (10(-3) to 3x10(-2) M) is effected on three samples of titania, two are anatase and the third is P25, which is composed of rutile and anatase. The adsorption isotherms at 298, 318, and 338 K are analyzed using a Langmuir linear equation. The isotherms on P25 showed a distinct inflection point that is reproduced by two linear portions, indicating different adsorption regimes. This adsorption behavior is explained as follows: with low amount adsorbed the adsorption is initiated by protonation of the basic hydroxyls on which the negatively charged MoO(4)(2-')s are adsorbed, and this is accompanied by an increase in the pH of the impregnating solution. At higher adsorption the coordinatively unsaturated Ti(4+) sites participate in the process, leading to a decline in the initial increase in pH. In the case of the two anatase samples the low surface area resulted in poor distribution of adsorption sites; consequently, the distinction between the two modes of adsorption was not entirely clear. The higher adsorption site density in the case of anatase is accompanied by a lower surface coverage, θ, than that for P25. The heat of adsorption, Q, on the three titania samples showed a linear increase with θ, which is represented by the regression equation: -Q=95.77θ-4.25 (R(2)=0.993). 5‐Alkyl‐4‐benzyl‐1,3‐dihydroimidazol‐2‐ones ( 3a‐d ) and 5‐alkyl‐4‐benzyl‐1,3‐dihydroimidazole‐2‐thiones (7a‐d) were prepared via Dakin West reaction on DL‐phenylalanine with the appropriate aliphatic acid anhydrides followed by hydrolysis and reaction with potassium cyanate or potassium thiocyanate. Compounds 3a‐d were alkylated with ethoxymethyl chloride to give the alkylated imidazoles 5a‐d which were considered analogues of Emivirine with deletion of carbonyl group at the 4‐position. Alkylation of 7a‐d afforded the corresponding S‐alkylated derivatives 8a‐p which in a similar way were considered analogues of S‐DABO. An on-column trace enrichment method for capillary electrochromatography of dilute samples is described. It involves the sequential use of frontal and elution electrochromatography on a segmented capillary column comprising of two contiguous segments each packed with a different sorbent. While the entering segment is for preconcentration by frontal electrochromatography the second segment is much longer and is meant for separation of the enriched analytes in the subsequent elution electrochromatography step. The preconcentration segment is usually packed with a sorbent that affords the highest affinity towards the solutes of interest while the separation segment is packed with a stationary phase that exhibits the highest selectivity and separation efficiency for the analytes. The detection is performed in the UV using a z-cell configuration for achieving an increased path length for detection. The effectiveness of this on-column trace enrichment is demonstrated on dilute samples of moderately polar solutes (e.g., carbamate insecticides) and nonpolar solutes (e.g., pyrethroid insecticides). Under optimal frontal and elution electrochromatography conditions. 817- and 1100-fold sensitivity increase are achieved for permethrin (a pyrethroid insecticide) and methiocarb (a carbamate insecticide), respectively, with a UV detector. The method is demonstrated with real water samples (e.g., tap and lake water samples) spiked with carbamate and pyrethroid insecticides. The limits of detection for the pesticides achieved in tap and lake waters reached 10(-8) to 10(-9) M. 相似文献

Hydrogen bonding is generally thought to be an ubiquitous adsorption mechanism, which often foils selective adsorption schemes. Through investigation of hydrogen bonding energy and its dependence on surface molecular architecture, it may be possible to develop new methodologies to control the adsorption of surfactants and polymeric flocculants, depressants, and dispersants used in particulate processing industries. A model system using St?ber silica spheres and polyethylene oxide, a polymer known for its ability to form hydrogen bonds, was examined. The effect of two different surface treatments of the silica particles, calcination and rehydroxylation, upon the adsorption of two polymer molecular weights was studied. The adsorption behavior was then linked to the respective surface structures via characterization of the surfaces using FTIR, NMR, and Raman techniques. Samples of synthetic hydroxyapatite, Ca(10)(PO(4))(6)(OH)(2), obtained by wet method and calcined at 1173 K in air were used in an adsorption study of some essential amino acids, mainly histidine, methionine, and tryptophan. Adsorption isotherms were obtained using aqueous solutions of concentration range 2.7x10(-2)-1.3x10(-3) M at 303, 318, and 343 K, under near neutral conditions. The mode of adsorption was studied using IR spectroscopy. The results are discussed in terms of the dependence of the adsorption process both on the functional groups on the hydroxyapatite and on the solution chemistry of the aqueous amino acids solutions. Summary The electrochemical behaviour of lead in NaOH solution was studied by potentiodynamic and cyclic voltammetric techniques in combination with X-ray diffraction analysis. The active dissolution of lead involves a small shoulderA1 followed by a peakA1 prior to a passive region. The shoulderA1 is assigned to the electroformation of a Pb(OH)2 film, whereas peakA1 is due to the formation of PbO. Beyond the passive region, the current density increases again, forming a small shoulderA2 and a peakA2 prior to the oxygen evolution potential. The shoulderA2 and the peakA2 are correlated to the electrooxidation of PbO to Pb3O4 and PbO2, respectively. The intensity of the anodic peaks increases with increasing alkali concentration, temperature and scan rate. In cyclic voltammetry, the reverse scan shows two cathodic peaksC1 andC2 which are correlated to the electroreduction of PbO and PbO2 respectively, to Pb.

Zusammenfassung Das elektrochemische Verhalten von Blei in NaOH wurde mittels potentiodynamischer und cyclovoltammetrischer Techniken unter Zuhilfenahme der Röntgenbeugungsanalyse untersucht. Die aktive Auflösung von Blei verläuft über eine SchulterA1, die von einem einer passiven Region vorgelagerten PeakA1 gefolgt wird. Die SchulterA1 wird der elektrochemischen Bildung eines Pb(OH)2-Films, der PeakA1 der Bildung von PbO zugeschrieben. Jenseits der passiven Region steigt die Stromdichte wieder an, und vor Erreichen des Sauerstoffpotentials treten eine kleine SchulterA2 und ein PeakA2 auf, die mit der Elektrooxidation von PbO zu Pb3O4 und PbO2 korrelieren. Analog dazu beobachtet man in der cyclischen Voltammetrie zwei kathodische PeaksC1 undC2, die der Elektroreduktion von PbO und PbO2 zu Pb entsprechen. Die Intensität der anodischen Peaks steigt mit steigender Alkalikonzentration, Temperatur und Scangeschwindigkeit.相似文献

A concise method for a stereocontrolled synthesis of a set of selectively protected disaccharides is reported. Coupling of
the donor 11 onto acceptors 23 and 24, promoted by trimethylsilyl triflate-N-iodosuccinimide (TMSOTf-NIS), generated the disaccharides 25 and 26. Under typical conditions, condensation of the fully protected donor 12 onto acceptors 23 and 24 produced the disaccharides 27 and 28. The building blocks 25–28 were prepared in moderate yields having exclusive β-stereoselectivity. A unique pattern of protecting groups distinguished
clearly between positions to be sulfated and functional groups remaining as free hydroxyl groups. Acetyl and/or levulinoyl
esters temporarily protected the positions to be sulfated, while benzyl ethers were used for permanent protection. The anomeric
positions were protected as allyl ethers, whereas the 4′-positions were masked as p-methoxybenzyl (PMB) ethers. The orthogonality of the PMB and allyl groups can then be used for further elongation of the
chain by recurrent deprotection and activation steps. The hydroxyl group, OH-6, of glucosamine moieties was protected as a
TBDPS ether to avoid oxidation. A five-step deprotection/sulfonation sequence was applied to the disaccharide 27 to generate the corresponding sulfated [β-D-GlcUA-2-OSO3Na-(1→4)-β-D-Glc pNAc]-(1→O-Pro) 34. 相似文献

A series of 1-aryl-s-triazolo[4,3-a]quinoxalin-4-ones, 3 , were synthesized via the pyrolysis of the corresponding hydrazones, 6 . Thus, the cyclodehydrogenation occurred by refluxing them in an inert solvent (e.g. ethylene glycol) to give the triazoloquinoxalin-4-ones in a satisfactory yield. Using DMSO as a solvent for the above transformation afforded as a minor by-product an S-ylid. In contrast to earlier findings, annelation of a six-membered ring was successful and achieved through the pyrolysis of the pyruvate hydrazones derived of the quinoxalin-4-ones at ?230° to give the as-triazino[4,3-a]quinoxalin-5-ones, 4 . The reaction of 5 with acetylacetone afforded 3-(3′,5′-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-2(1H)-quinoxalinone, 10 . The structural assignments for the new compounds were based on their elemental analysis and spectroscopic data as well as an independent synthesis. 相似文献
