INFORMATION ABOUT SUBQUARK FROM EXPERIMENTS ON SUPERNIGH ENERGY COSMIC RAY

In this paper a kind of fireball model for subquark stratum is proposed, which can be used to explain the cosmic ray experiments for superhigh energy range, e. g., the mean multiplicity of secondary particles increases as S increases average transversal momentum ⊥> increases as S increases …etc. It can also give predictions which can be verified experimentally. This means that the information of the existence of subquark can be probed in the experiments on superhigh energy cosmic ray. Furthermore, this also means that some new phenomena observed in the experiments. on superhigh energy cosmiq ray provide. probably this kind of information.     

AgOx型超分辨近场结构的非线性光学特性研究

采用共焦Z扫描系统，以λ=532nm．脉冲宽度0．7ns．重复频率15．79kHz的脉冲半导体激光器作为入射光源，研究了AgOx超分辨近场结构(SuperRENS)薄膜样品的非线性光学性质．实验获得了其三阶非线性折射率系数随入射光功率的变化曲线．并与Au，Ag薄膜作了比较．讨论了光致非线性变化过程。结果表明，在聚焦激光作用下．AgOx超分辨近场结构薄膜样品存在一相变点．即解析出纳米Ag颗粒，满足了产生局域表面等离子体的激发和增强效应的条件。     

Space-charge layer capacitance and offset voltage of an exponential-constant p-n junction

It is important to study an exponential-constant p-n junction because it gives a realistic approximation for many diffused p-n junction profiles. To calculate the space-charge layer capacitance for this junction we use an abrupt space-charge edge approximation with a correction which includes the effect of the mobile carriers at the edges of the space-charge region. In this approach the offset voltage v_off is used in place of the built-in potential as obtained from the depletion approximation. An analytical model for the space-charge region capacitance for an exponential-constant junction is developed. This model holds well for zero bias, for small forward voltages, and for reverse voltages. It shows good agreement when compared with the Chawla-Gummel model. It is simple and gives a direct relationship between the depletion capacitance and the applied voltage.     

A SPICE model of a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a light load

A simple and accurate model of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with a light load is presented in this paper. The light-load condition is always needed in integrated circuit manufacturing machines in order to achieve a fast, accurate and minimum overshoot response. The model proposed here can help a designer to specify the controller's specifications and also to verify the hardware of motor drives. The differential equations of the PMSM are handled by the macromodels in PSPICE^TM. Moreover, it is revealed that the PMSM system is operating in a 4-state mode rather than a 2-state mode. Experimental results are provided to verify the simulation results of this model. The heavy load condition is also simulated.     

Possible Supernova Multi-Explosions and Induced Gravitational Collapse

In this paper, three hotly discussed problems, namely the neutrino bursts, the blue progenitor, and the mixing phenomenon, observed in SN1987A are summarized. But it is pointed that while all the observations on SN1987A do not favour a twice-banged scenario, we have found three historical cases from ancient Chinese documents that might be interpreted as twice- or even multi-explosions of a supernova. Finally in a one-dimensional simulation we demonstrate that an induced gravitational collapse b possible.     

Unique Features of Mobile Commerce

While the market potentials and impacts of web-based e-commerce are still in the ascendant, the advances in wireless technologies and mobile networks have brought about a new business opportunity and research attention, what is termed mobile commerce. Commonly, mobile commerce is considered to be another new application of existing web-based e-commerce onto wireless networks, but as an independent business area, mobile commerce has its own advantages and challenges as opposed to traditional e-commerce applications. This paper focuses on exploring the unique features of mobile commerce as compared with traditional e-commerce. Also, there are still some limitations arisen in m-commerce in contrast to web-based e-commerce. Finally, current state of mobile commerce in Japan is presented in brief, with an introduction of several cases involving mobile commerce applications in today's marketplace.

ON THE REACTION MECHANISM AND THE SELECTION RULE IN THE DOUBLE CHARGE EXCHANGE REACTION OF PIONS ON NUCLEI (DCX)-A STUDY OF THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE 2β-DECAY AND DCX ON jP=O+ NUCLEI

It is shown that in the pion induced double charge exchange reaction on J^p=O⁺→O⁺ nuclei,there exists a possible new reaction mechanism π⁺(Δ⁰,Δ⁺⁺)π^- or π⁺(Δ^-,Δ⁺)π^- in so-called single step process,while that old speculative mechanism π⁺(N,Δ)π^- or π⁺(N,Δ)π^- is firbidden by a well-known selection rule which has been indicated in the theory of the nuclear 2β-decay.
