<0.6, vortex pairing can be easily controlled by means of the fundamental and its subharmonic forcing with varying initial
phase differences. As stable vortex pairing dominates, the variation of the subharmonic component with the initial phase difference
changes from a sine shape to a cusp-like shape. The harmonics of the subharmonic also show similar trends. The detuning induces
the amplitude and phase modulations of the u-signal in the time trace and the sideband growth in the spectra. The u-signal reflects the subharmonic variation with the initial phase difference in its envelope. For 0.6<St

A new approach for modeling multivariant martensitic phase transitions (PT) and martensitic microstructure (MM) in elastic materials is proposed. It is based on a thermomechanical model for PT that includes strain softening and the corresponding strain localization during PT. Mesh sensitivity in numerical simulations is avoided by using rate-dependent constitutive equations in the model. Due to strain softening, a microstructure comprised of pure martensitic and austenitic domains separated by narrow transition zones is obtained as the solution of the corresponding boundary value problem. In contrast to Landau-Ginzburg models, which are limited in practice to nanoscale specimens, this new phase field model is valid for scales greater than 100 nm and without upper bound. A finite element algorithm for the solution of elastic problems with multivariant martensitic PT is developed and implemented into the software ABAQUS. Simulated microstructures in elastic single crystals and polycrystals under uniaxial loading are in qualitative agreement with those observed experimentally. 相似文献

In this paper, we develop a method to estimate the bridge deflection using fiber optic Bragg-grating (FBG) strain sensors.
For most structural evaluation of bridge integrity, it is very important to measure the geometric profile, which is a major
factor representing the global behavior of civil structures, especially bridges. In the past, because of the lack of appropriate
methods to measure the deflection curve of bridges on site, the measurement of deflection has been restricted to just a few
discrete points along the bridge, and the measuring points have been limited to the locations installed with displacement
transducers. However, by applying classical beam theory, a formula is rearranged to estimate the continuously deflected profile
by using strains measured directly from several points. In addition, FBG strain sensors, which are electromagnetic, noise-free
and multipoint measurable, are employed to obtain flexural strains more accurately and stably. The regression analysis is
performed to obtain a strain function from the measured strain data. Finally, the deflection curve can be estimated by applying

Unsteady flows and rotating stall in vaneless diffusers were investigated by measuring both the wall fluctuating pressures and the unsteady velocity field using hot-wires and laser Doppler anemometers. Experiments were carried out with a fixed impeller and fixed diffuser inlet and outlet radii. However, the diffuser width was varied so that its effect on rotating stall could be examined. is in qualitative agreement with the prediction of Senoo et al. (1977). Therefore, the onset of stall is delayed as diffuser width is decreased. For diffusers with small width, stall emerges first with one stall cell and then develops into 2 and 4 stall cells as the mass flow rate is decreased. On the other hand, for the diffuser with the largest width tested, stall emerges with one stall cell and quickly develops into 3 stall cells. The ratio of the speed of rotation of the stall cell to impeller speed is independent of diffuser width, but decreases slightly as the number of stall cells increases. A 3 Gb/s wireline transmitter (Tx) with a tapless pre-emphasis current-mode logic output driver is presented in this paper. The proposed output driver can support 2.5, 6 and 10 dB pre-emphasis without any additional current tap. It can reduce the current consumption of the output driver by 30 %. The 1.5 GHz phase-locked loop (PLL), multi-phase generator, and 26-to-1 serializer are utilized to serialize 26-bit parallel data to 1-bit 3 Gb/s serial data stream. The rms and peak-to-peak jitters of PLL are 2.97 and 22.5 ps, respectively. The eye opening of the proposed output driver at 3 Gb/s is 0.8UI with a 10 dB loss channel. The current consumption of the output driver is only 5.14 mA, and the Tx is 9 mA. The area of the Tx is 0.72 mm2 using the 0.11 μm CMOS process. 相似文献

The analysis and design of relay protocols is a hot issue in 3GPP Long Term Evolution—Advanced. In this paper, we discuss interference cancellation in a multiuser MIMO environment using Amplify-and-Forward (AF), Decode-and-Forward (DF) and De-Modulate-and-Forward (DMF) as relay protocols, and using Thomilson Harashima Precoding and Dirty Paper Coding as precoding techniques, with Zero-Forcing, Minimum Mean Square Error, Successive Interference Cancellation and Ordered Successive Interference Cancellation detection techniques. By using a combination of classical precoding schemes and detection techniques with weighted matrix, we propose a new interference cancellation technique that is capable of cancelling interference. The interference cancellation is managed by AF, DF and DMF relay node protocols and the interference free codeword is transmitted to the selected User Equipment. The proposed algorithm when used with DMF protocol shows best performance, compared to the conventional system or the no-relay system case, it gives best performance. The observation results shows that DMF protocol gives the best results for BER and Throughput performance in a high interference environment. 相似文献

Because energy efficiency (EE) is inevitable in future wireless cellular networks, in this paper, we focus on improving the number of bits delivered to users for each unit energy consumption in the downlink of orthogonal frequency‐division multiple access cellular networks with base stations (BSs) coordination. Specifically, each BS shares the channel qualities of users with others and jointly choose the set of co‐channel users and the transmit power allocated to maximize the EE of the system subject to the transmit power ceiling of each BS and minimum required data rate. We formulate the problem as a nonlinear fractional optimization problem, using nonlinear fractional programming, the original hard‐to‐solve problem is transferred to a new one that has the same optimal solution and is easier to solve, this enables two iterative algorithms that achieve nearly the same maximum EE. Stretchable conductive fibers have received significant attention due to their possibility of being utilized in wearable and foldable electronics. Here, highly stretchable conductive fiber composed of silver nanowires (AgNWs) and silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) embedded in a styrene–butadiene–styrene (SBS) elastomeric matrix is fabricated. An AgNW‐embedded SBS fiber is fabricated by a simple wet spinning method. Then, the AgNPs are formed on both the surface and inner region of the AgNW‐embedded fiber via repeated cycles of silver precursor absorption and reduction processes. The AgNW‐embedded conductive fiber exhibits superior initial electrical conductivity (σ0 = 2450 S cm?1) and elongation at break (900% strain) due to the high weight percentage of the conductive fillers and the use of a highly stretchable SBS elastomer matrix. During the stretching, the embedded AgNWs act as conducting bridges between AgNPs, resulting in the preservation of electrical conductivity under high strain (the rate of conductivity degradation, σ/σ0 = 4.4% at 100% strain). The AgNW‐embedded conductive fibers show the strain‐sensing behavior with a broad range of applied tensile strain. The AgNW reinforced highly stretchable conductive fibers can be embedded into a smart glove for detecting sign language by integrating five composite fibers in the glove, which can successfully perceive human motions. 相似文献

The development of an electrochemically robust method for the low‐temperature deposition of cuprous oxide (Cu2O) thin films with reliable and conductive p‐type characteristics could yield breakthroughs in earth abundant and ecofriendly all oxide‐based photoelectronic devices. The incorporation of the group‐V element antimony (Sb) in the solution‐based electrodeposition process has been investigated. A small amount of Sb (1.2 at%) in the Cu2O resulted in rapid nucleation and coalescence at the initial stage of electrochemical reaction, and finally made the surface morphology smooth in 2D. The growth behavior changed due to Sb addition and produced a strong diffraction intensity, single‐domain‐like diffraction patterns, and low angle tilt boundaries in the Cu2O:Sb film, implying extremely improved crystallinity. As a result, these films exhibited extraordinary optical transmittance and band‐to‐band photoluminescence emission as well as higher electrical conductivity. The Cu/Cu2O:Sb Schottky diode showed good rectifying characteristics and more sensible photoresponsibility. 相似文献
