Rate Coeffcients and Branching Ratio for Multi-Channel Hydrogen Abstractions from CH3OH by F 下载免费PDF全文
The hydrogen abstraction reaction F+CH3OH has two possible reaction pathways: HF+CH3O and HF+CH2OH. Despite the absence of intrinsic barriers for both channels, the former has a branching ratio comparable to the latter, which is far from the statistical limit of 0.25 (one out of four available H atoms). Furthermore, the measured branching ratio of the two abstraction channels spans a large range and is not quantitatively reproduced by previous theoretical predictions based on the transition-state theory with the stationary point information calculated at the levels of M?ller-Plesset perturbation theory and G2. This work reports a theoretical investigation on the kinetics and the associated branching ratio of the two competing channels of the title reaction using a quasi-classical trajectory approach on an accurate full-dimensional potential energy surface (PES) fitted by the permutation invariant polynomial-neural network approach to ca. 1.21x105 points calculated at the explicitly correlated (F12a) version of coupled cluster singles doubles and perturbative triples (CCSD(T)) level with the aug-cc-pVDZ basis set. The calculated room temperature rate coeffcient and branching ratio of the HF+CH3O channel are in good agreement with the available experimental data. Furthermore, our theory predicts that rate coeffcients have a slightly negative temperature dependence, consistent with barrierless nature of the reaction. 相似文献

A challenging deoxygenation of alkoxyl radicals from readily accessible alcohol derivatives was developed, affording facile synthesis of functionalized alkenes with good functional group tolerance under mild reaction conditions. Because alkoxyl radicals can easily undergo β-fragmentations or hydrogen abstractions, this new strategy for deoxygenation of alkoxyl radicals is highly valuable. P450 119 peroxygenase was found to catalyze the sulfoxidation of thioanisole and the sulfonation of sulfoxide in the presence of tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) for the first time with turnover rates of 1549 min−1 and 196 min−1 respectively. Several mutants were designed to improve the peroxygenation activity and thioanisole specificity by site-directed mutagenesis. The F153G/T213G mutant gave an increase of sulfoxide yield and a decrease of sulfone yield. Moreover the S148P/I161T/K199E/T214V mutant and the K199E mutant with acidic Glu residue contributed to improving the product ratio of sulfoxide to sulfone. Addition of short-alkyl-chain organic acids to the P450 119 peroxygenase-catalyzed sulfur oxidation of thioanisole was investigated. Octanoic acid was found to induce a preferred sulfoxidation of thioanisole catalyzed by the F153G/T213G mutant to give approximately 2.4-fold increase in turnover rate with a kcat value of 3687 min−1 relative to that of the wild-type, and by the F153G mutant to give the R-sulfoxide up to 30 % ee. The experimental control and the proposed mechanism for the P450 119 peroxygenase-catalyzed sulfoxidation of thioanisole in the presence of octanoic acid suggested that octanoic acid could partially occupy the substrate pocket; meanwhile the F153G mutation could enhance the substrate specificity, which could lead to efficiently regulate the spatial orientation of thioanisole and facilitate the formation of Compound I. This is the most effective catalytic system for the P450 119 peroxygenase-catalyzed sulfoxidation of thioanisole. 相似文献

Dark formation of hydroxyl radical upon oxidation of reduced iron minerals plays an important role in the degradation and transformation of organic and inorganic pollutants. Herein, we compared the hydroxyl radical formation from various reduced iron minerals at different redox conditions. OH production was generally observed from the oxidation of reduced iron minerals, following the order: mackinawite (FeS) > reduced nontronite (iron-bearing smectite clay) > pyrite (FeS2) > siderite (FeCO3). Structural Fe2+ and dissolved O2 play critical roles in OH production from reduced iron minerals. OH production increases with decreasing pH, and Cl? has little effect on this process. More importantly, dissolved organic matter significantly enhances OH production, especially under O2 purging, highlighting the importance of this process in ambient environments. This sunlight-independent pathway in which OH forms during oxidation of reduced iron minerals is helpful for understanding the degradation and transformation of various inorganic and organic pollutants in the redox-fluctuation environments. 相似文献
