Twelve compounds, including two new aristolochic acid analogues with a formyloxy moiety (9–10) and 10 known aristolochic acid derivates (1–8 and 11–12), were obtained from the roots of Aristolochia contorta. Their structures were elucidated using extensive spectroscopic methods. Their cytotoxic activity in human proximal tubular cells HK-2 was evaluated by the MTT method, which has been widely used to assess cell viability. Among these molecules, compounds 3 and 9 were found to be more cytotoxic. Furthermore, molecular modeling was used to evaluate, for the first time, the interactions of compounds 3 and 9 with the target protein organic anionic transporter 1 (OAT1) that plays a key role in mediating aristolochic acid nephropathy. Selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) are considered to be the new selenium supplement forms with high biological activity and low toxicity; however, the molecular mechanism by which SeNPs exert the biological function is unclear. Here, we reported that biocompatibility SeNPs possessed intrinsic oxidase-like activity. Using Na2SeO3 as a precursor and glutathione as a reductant, biocompatibility SeNPs were synthesized by the wet chemical reduction method in the presence of bovine serum albumin (BSA). The results of structure characterization revealed that synthesized SeNPs were amorphous red elementary selenium with spherical morphology, and ranged in size from 25 to 70 nm size with a narrow distribution (41.4 ± 6.7 nm). The oxidase-like activity of the as-synthesized SeNPs was tested with 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) as a substrate. The results indicated that SeNPs could catalyze the oxidization of TMB by dissolved oxygen. These SeNPs showed an optimum catalytic activity at pH 4 and 30 °C, and the oxidase-like activity was higher as the concentration of SeNPs increased and the size of SeNPs decreased. The Michaelis constant (K m) values and maximal reaction velocity (V max) of the SeNPs for TMB oxidation were 0.0083 mol/L and 3.042 μmol/L min, respectively. 相似文献

We consider the influence of the local squeezed vacuum fields on two initially entangled two-qubit system. By considering the upper bound of entanglement under time evolution, we find that the decay of the quantum entanglement shows different behavior for different time scales (t?max{(2βA)−1,(2βB)−1} and t?min{(2βA)−1,(2βB)−1}). The objective of this study was to investigate the potential of hydrogen peroxide‐generated oxygen gas‐based phase contrast imaging (PCI) for visualizing mouse hepatic portal veins. The O2 gas was made from the reaction between H2O2 and catalase. The gas production was imaged by PCI in real time. The H2O2 was injected into the enteric cavity of the lower sigmoid colon to produce O2 in the submucosal venous plexus. The generated O2 gas could be finally drained into hepatic portal veins. Absorption contrast imaging (ACI) and PCI of O2‐filled portal veins were performed and compared. PCI offers high resolution and real‐time visualization of the O2 gas production. Compared with O2‐based ACI, O2‐based PCI significantly enhanced the revealing of the portal vein in vivo. It is concluded that O2‐based PCI is a novel and promising imaging modality for future studies of portal venous disorders in mice models. 相似文献
