数字电视NVOD下传解决方案

以广东省有线数字电视整体转换工作为范例，通过一个测试环境，进行数字电视NVOD（Near Video On Demand，准视频点播）下传测试，提出两种数字电视NVOD下传解决方案。     

High resistivity measurement of SiC wafers using different techniques

To establish fast, nondestructive, and inexpensive methods for resistivity measurements of SiC wafers, different resistivity-measurement techniques were tested for characterization of semi-insulating SiC wafers, namely, the four-point probe method with removable graphite contacts, the van der Pauw method with annealed metal and diffused contacts, the current-voltage (I-V) technique, and the contactless resistivity-measurement method. Comparison of different techniques is presented. The resistivity values of the semi-insulating SiC wafer measured using different techniques agree fairly well. As a result, application of removable graphite contacts is proposed for fast and nondestructive resistivity measurement of SiC wafers using the four-point probe method. High-temperature van der Pauw and room-temperature Hall characterization for the tested semi-insulating SiC wafer was also obtained and reported in this work.     

计算机网络安全系统设计

分析了现代计算机网络所面临的威胁和各种安全问题,同时提出了在设计一个有关网络系统时应该考虑的一些安全问题,如网络安全策略与技术、网络的访问控制、网络数据加密技术、信息隐藏技术等安全问题。     

固定电话终端创新

目前，移动通信正式成为电信运营市场的主体，固网传统通信业务正被移动通信业务所替代与分流。固网运营商如果要保持传统语音业务收入的持续增长，就需要不断地结合市场需求进行创新。由于固网短信（如家加E）业务推出后未能获得市场广泛的认同，导致该业务的发展不理想。因此固网终端创新应能够将网络平台上的多种通信业务终端化，并体现出智能化、“傻瓜”化特征，方便用户使用，才能获得更大的发展。同时，将固网终端向支付、娱乐等方向转移，也将成为今后的一个主要发展方向。     

An optimization model for placement of wavelength converters to minimize blocking probability in WDM networks

The introduction of wavelength converters in wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) networks can reduce the blocking probabilities of calls. In this paper, we study the problem of placing a given number of converters in a general topology WDM network such that the overall system blocking probability is minimized. The original contributions of this work are the following: 1) formulation of success probability in a network as a polynomial function of the locations of converters; 2) proposal of an optimization model of the converter placement problem as the minimization of a polynomial function of 0-1 variables under a linear constraint, so that standard optimization tools can be employed to solve the problem; and 3) design of a search algorithm that can efficiently find the optimal solution to the converter placement problem. Experiments have been conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model and the efficiency of the algorithm.     

基于支持向量机的缓存预估模型的设计与实现

采用支持向量机(SVM)对网络业务流数据进行预测估计，通过训练样本，从而获得样本以外数据的分布规律。在此基础上，设计了一种网络排队队列缓存的预估模型。实验表明，该模型具有较高的训练效率和很高的估计精确度。     

身份管理渐行其道

目前人们面临的网络安全问题越来越严峻，不仅包括计算机病毒、垃圾电子邮件等的挑战，对信息资源的有效存取保护要求也在提高。身份管理技术能对用户身份标识进行集中与简化管理，实现安全、简便登录等功能，不但削减了投入和维护成本，还提高了效率，因此近来得到迅速发展。2003年的调查显示，身份管理在安全产品市场增幅达45％；在各企业应用普及率已达到17.9％。但身份管理还需要解决提高单点登录安全性，实施多方可靠数字身份以及本身复杂性等问题。

激光水下成像技术及其进展

介绍了近年发展起来的三种主要的激光水下成像方法，即常规水下激光成像、高分辨率水下激光三维成像和偏振激光成像，分析了它们各自的工作原理、特点以及各自的发展状况。     

有线网络行业垄断性的改变及竞争形势分析

有线网络行业既具有自然垄断性,又具有行政垄断性.但随技术进步和国家政策的调整,其自然垄断性被削弱,行政垄断也被打破.在位的有线网络企业面临着两个层面的竞争：一是基于不同视频传输方式的竞争,二是同为有线网络传输方式的竞争,而后者是直接的竞争.对有线网络行业的竞争进行了SWOT分析.最后讨论了竞争形势下在位的有线网络运营商的应对思路.
