Unreliable mobility values, and particularly greatly overestimated values and severely distorted temperature dependences, have recently hampered the development of the organic transistor field. Given that organic field‐effect transistors (OFETs) have been routinely used to evaluate mobility, precise parameter extraction using the electrical properties of OFETs is thus of primary importance. This review examines the origins of the various mobilities that must be determined for OFET applications, the relevant extraction methods, and the data selection limitations, which help in avoiding conceptual errors during mobility extraction. For increased precision, the review also discusses device fabrication considerations, calibration of both the specific gate‐dielectric capacitance and the threshold voltage, the contact effects, and the bias and temperature dependences, which must actually be handled with great care but have mostly been overlooked to date. This review serves as a systematic overview of the OFET mobility extraction process to ensure high precision and will also aid in improving future research. 相似文献

The development of very-low-sidelobe antennas raises the question of whether or not the planar-near-field method can be used to accurately measure these antennas. Previously, scientists at several organizations showed that data taken and processed with the planar-near-field methodology, including probe correction, can be used to accurately measure the sidelobes of very-low-sidelobe antennas. This can be done to levels of -55 dB to -60 dB, relative to the main-beam peak. The present paper highlights these results, including a comparison of the far field, from the planar-near-field method, with the far field, found on a far-field range. The vibration of a thin-walled cylindrical, compliant viscoelastic tube with internal turbulent flow due to an axisymmetric constriction is studied theoretically and experimentally. Vibration of the tube is considered with internal fluid coupling only, and with coupling to internal-flowing fluid and external stagnant fluid or external tissue-like viscoelastic material. The theoretical analysis includes the adaptation of a model for turbulence in the internal fluid and its vibratory excitation of and interaction with the tube wall and surrounding viscoelastic medium. Analytical predictions are compared with experimental measurements conducted on a flow model system using laser Doppler vibrometry to measure tube vibration and the vibration of the surrounding viscoelastic medium. Fluid pressure within the tube was measured with miniature hydrophones. Discrepancies between theory and experiment, as well as the coupled nature of the fluid-structure interaction, are described. This study is relevant to and may lead to further insight into the patency and mechanisms of vascular failure, as well as diagnostic techniques utilizing noninvasive acoustic measurements. 相似文献

Silicon photonic crystals offer new ways of controlling the propagation of light as well as new tools for the realization of high-density optical integration on monolithic substrates. However, silicon does not possess the strong nonlinearities that are commonly used in the dynamic control of optical devices. Such dynamic control is nevertheless essential if silicon is to provide the higher levels of functionality that are required for optical integration. We demonstrate that the combination of the refractive index change caused by the presence of photoexcited carriers, or so-called plasma dispersion, and photonic crystal properties such as photonic bandgaps, constitutes a powerful tool for active control of light in silicon integrated devices. We show close to 100% modulation depth near the photonic crystal band edge. 相似文献

Ultraviolet and infrared conical emissions were observed during the filamentation in air of powerful femtosecond laser pulses produced by a portable terawatt laser system. The broadband spectrum was measured from 200 nm up to 14 microm and covered the complete optical transmission window of the atmosphere. The angularly resolved spectrum showed some X-wave structure across the frequency range analyzed. However, we demonstrated that the strong conical emission observed in the mid- and far-infrared is mainly owing to the four-wave mixing between the pump pulse and its blueshifted conical emission. 相似文献

Fano effect in a T-shaped double quantum dot structure in the presence of Rashba spin-orbit coupling
The influence of Rashba spin-orbit coupling on the Fano lineshape of the conductance spectrum in a T-shaped double quantum dot structure is theoretically studied. By second-quantizing the electron Hamiltonian in this structure, it is found that the Rashba interaction brings about a spin-flip interdot hopping term. With the enhancement of the Rashba interaction, this term separates the two resonant peaks in the conductance spectrum from each other. More importantly, it causes the broadening of the narrow Fano peak, and the narrowing of the broader peak. Finally, the asymmetric Fano lineshape changes into a symmetric profile in the global conductance spectrum. 相似文献

This paper investigates the synchronization of complex systems with delay that are impulsively coupled at discrete instants only. Based on the comparison theorem of impulsive differential system, a distributed impulsive control scheme is proposed to achieve the synchronization for systems with delay. In the control strategy, the influence of all nodes to network synchronization relies on its weight. The proposed control scheme is applied to the chaotic delayed Hopfield neural networks and numerical simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. 相似文献

We investigate the cluster consensus problem in directed networks of nonlinearly coupled multi-agent systems by using pinning control. Depending on the community structure generated by the group partition of the underlying digraph, various clusters can be made coherently independent by applying feedback injections to a fraction of the agents. Sufficient conditions for cluster consensus are obtained using algebraic graph theory and matrix theory and some simulations results are included to illustrate the method. 相似文献

Electrostatic spring softening is an important characteristic of electrostatically actuated dual-axis micromirror, since it lowers the resonant frequencies. This paper presents an approach based on approximating the electrostatic forces by the first-order Taylor's series expansion to investigate this characteristic. The dual-axis micromirror studied in this paper has three motion modes, two torsional (about x- and y-axis, respectively) and one translational (about z-axis). The stiffnesses of all these modes are softened by a DC bias voltage applied to the mirror plate. The resonant frequencies are lowered with the increment of the bias voltage. The relationship of the bias voltage and the resonant frequencies of all the motion modes is derived. The analytical results show that the resonant frequency curves are affected by the capacitor geometries, i.e. the gap between the mirror plate and the electrodes and the electrodes size. The lowering curves drop slowly when the bias voltage is small. While for large bias voltage, the lowering curves drop rapidly. The experiment results are consistent with those obtained by the analytical approach. 相似文献
