Flight gate scheduling with respect to a reference schedule   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
This paper considers the problem of assigning flights to airport gates. We examine the general case in which an aircraft serving a flight may be assigned to different gates for arrival and departure processing and for optional intermediate parking. Restrictions to this assignment include gate closures and shadow restrictions, i.e., the situation where certain gate assignments may cause blocking of neighboring gates. The objectives include maximization of the total assignment preference score, a minimal number of unassigned flights during overload periods, minimization of the number of tows, maximization of a robustness measure as well as a minimal deviation from a given reference schedule. We show that in case of a one period time horizon this objective can easily be integrated into our existing model based on the Clique Partitioning Problem. Furthermore we present a heuristic algorithm to solve the problem for multiple periods.  相似文献

Consistent time and frequency domain formulations for a fully anisotropic, linear visco-elastic material model are presented. The finite element implementation leads to a complex valued stiffness matrix in the frequency domain. Nesterov suggested an SDP-based bound for the problem to minimize a quadratic form over the -ball. In this note, we introduce a tighter SDP-based bound, the so-called copositive bound, and illustrate the improvement by simulation results. The copositive bound has the additional advantage that it can be easily extended to the inhomogeneous case of quadratic objectives including a linear term. We also indicate some improvements of the eigenvalue bound for the quadratic optimization over the -ball with 1 < p < 2, at least for p close to one.  相似文献

We define Wieferich numbers to be those odd integers w≥3 that satisfy the congruence 2 φ(w)≡1 (mod  w 2). It is clear that the distribution of Wieferich numbers is closely related to the distribution of Wieferich primes, and we give some quantitative forms of this statement. We establish several unconditional asymptotic results about Wieferich numbers; analogous results for the set of Wieferich primes remain out of reach. Finally, we consider several modifications of the above definition and demonstrate that our methods apply to such sets of integers as well. A weighting of the edges of a hypergraph is called vertex‐coloring if the weighted degrees of the vertices yield a proper coloring of the graph, i.e. every edge contains at least two vertices with different weighted degrees. In this article, we show that such a weighting is possible from the weight set for all hypergraphs with maximum edge size and not containing edges solely consisting of identical vertices. We consider self-gravitating fluids in cosmological spacetimes with Gowdy symmetry on the torus T3 and, in this class, we solve the singular initial value problem for the Einstein–Euler system of general relativity, when an initial data set is prescribed on the hypersurface of singularity. We specify initial conditions for the geometric and matter variables and identify the asymptotic behavior of these variables near the cosmological singularity. Our analysis of this class of nonlinear and singular partial differential equations exhibits a condition on the sound speed, which leads us to the notion of sub-critical, critical, and super-critical regimes. Solutions to the Einstein–Euler systems when the fluid is governed by a linear equation of state are constructed in the first two regimes, while additional difficulties arise in the latter one. All previous studies on inhomogeneous spacetimes concerned vacuum cosmological spacetimes only.  相似文献
