The oxidation of the recently synthesized Schiff base 3,6-bis((2-aminoethyl-5-Br-salicyliden)thio)pyridazine (PABST) with hydrogen peroxide was investigated using spectrophotometric studies. The reaction rate order and observed rate constant of the oxidation reaction was obtained in the mixture of N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF):water (30:70, v/v) at pH 10 using multivariate cure resolution alternative least squares (MCR-ALS) method and rank annihilation factor analysis (RAFA). The effective parameters on the oxidation rate constant such as percents of DMF, the effect of transition metals like Cu2+, Zn2+, Mn2+ and Hg2+ and the presence of surfactants were investigated. The keto-enol equilibria in DMF:water (30:70, v/v) solution at pH 7.6 was also investigated in the presence of surfactants. At concentrations above critical micelle concentration (cmc) of cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), the keto form was the predominant species, while at concentrations above cmc of anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), the enol form was the predominant species. The kinetic reaction order and the rate constant of tautomerization in micellar medium were obtained using MCR-ALS and RAFA. The results obtained by both the methods were in a good agreement with each other. Also the effect of different volume percents of DMF on the rate constant of tautomerization was investigated. The neutral surfactant (Triton X-100) had no effect on tautomerization equilibrium.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of dynamic allocation of bandwidth in a hierarchical transport platform comprised of both broadband (optical) and wideband (ATM) crossconnects. The crossconnect platforms will react to fluctuations of traffic on different time scales. The model developed in this paper will take advantage of both multi-service and multi-hour character of traffic profiles and includes off-line and on-line algorithms. The off-line model will generate the configuration of optical bearers and the routing of origin-destination paths in the network for each time interval. The on-line algorithms will adjust the capacity allocated to each path in accordance with the short-term fluctuations of demand to decrease blocking probability and maximize resource utilization. We formulate the problem of designing a minimum cost network for a multi-hour, multi-service traffic profile where the cost is a piecewise linear function of the maximum possible number of optical paths as well as a linear function of the number of ports and of the traffic flow through tandem nodes. The model is a large-scale mixed integer program. Further, we provide a second model to carry out the fine tuning necessary to cater for traffic fluctuations. The alternative versions of the second model are given, including a goal program that optimally matches the network capacity to the varying traffic requirements.  相似文献

This article attempts to study the stochastic coupled thermo-elasticity of thick hollow cylinders subjected to thermal shock loading considering uncertainty in mechanical properties. The thermo-elastic governing equations based on Green–Naghdi theory (without energy dissipation) are stochastically solved using a hybrid numerical method (combined Galerkin finite element and Newmark finite difference methods). The mechanical properties are considered as random variables with Gaussian distribution, which are generated using Monte Carlo simulation method with various coefficients of variations (COVs). The effects of uncertainty in mechanical properties with various coefficients of variations on thermo-elastic wave propagation are studied in detail. Also, the maximum, mean and variance of temperature, displacement and stresses are illustrated across thickness of cylinder in various times.  相似文献

A series of 2-substituted-4,6-diaminipyrimidine derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for their dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) inhibitory activity. Saturation transfer difference (STD) (1)H-NMR experiments were used to probe the binding characteristics of the compounds with human DHFR enzyme. The most potent molecules, 12 and 15, in enzyme assay study showed the best results in STD experiments indicating their intimate interaction with the receptor. The docking studies were followed to explain the structural basis for the observed interaction between the ligands and DHFR. All the compounds were also assayed in vitro for their growth inhibitory activity on MCF-7, HepG2, SKHep1, and Hela tumor cell lines. Compounds 16, 17, and 22 demonstrated the most potent in vitro anti-proliferative activity among the others.  相似文献

Humans actively stabilize the head-neck system based on vestibular, proprioceptive and visual information. Galvanic vestibular stimulation (GVS) has been used previously to demonstrate the role of vestibular feedback in standing balance. This study explores the effect of GVS on head-neck kinematics and evaluates the approach to investigate the vestibular contribution to head-neck stabilization. GVS was applied to 11 seated subjects using seven different stimuli (single sinusoids and multisines) at amplitudes of 0.5-2 mA and frequencies of 0.4-5.2 Hz using a bilateral bipolar configuration while 3-D head and torso kinematics were recorded using motion capture. System identification techniques were used evaluating coherence and frequency response functions (FRFs). GVS resulted in significant coherence in roll, yaw and lateral translation, consistent with effects of GVS while standing as reported in the literature. The gain of the FRFs varied with frequency and no modulation was observed across the stimulus amplitudes, indicating a linear system response for the stimulations considered. Compared to single sine stimulation, equivalent FRFs were observed during unpredictable multisine stimulation, suggesting the responses during both stimuli to be of a reflexive nature. These results demonstrate the potential of GVS to investigate the vestibular contribution to head-neck stabilization.  相似文献

In this work, the potential of modified multiwalled carbon nanotubes for separation and preconcentration of trace amounts of manganese ion is studied. Multiwalled carbon nanotubes were oxidized with concentrated HNO3 and then modified with loading 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphtol. Mn(II) ions could be quantitatively retained by modified multiwalled carbon nanotubes in the pH range of 8–9.5. Elution of the adsorbed manganese was carried out with 5.0 mL of 0.1 mol L?1 HNO3. Detection limit is 0.058 ng mL?1 and analytical curve is linear in the range of 0.1 ng mL?1–5.0 μg mL?1 in the initial solution with a correlation coefficient 0.9977 and the preconcentration factor is 100. Relative standard deviation for eight replicate determination of 0.5 μg mL?1 of manganese in the final solution is 0.41%. The effects of the experimental parameters, including the sample pH, flow rates of sample and eluent solution, eluent type, breakthrough volume and interference ions, were studied for preconcentration of Mn(II) ions in detail to optimize the conditions. The method was successfully applied for separation, preconcentration and determination of manganese in different samples.  相似文献

The transmission spectrum of linearly polarized visible light through double metal thin films perforated with nano-hole arrays is investigated and simulated by using the three dimensional finite-difference time-domain method. The results show that the transmission spectra can be controlled by changing the longitudinal interval G between films and, their lateral displacements Lx and Ly, which are parallel and perpendicular to the polarization direction of the incident light, respectively. We have two important peaks (due to guided mode and SP mode) in these spectrums. The variation in longitudinal distance results a wavelength shift in guided mode peak of transmission spectrum while the wavelength of SP mode peak remains fixed. The lateral displacement Lx leads to the higher transmission of the guided mode peak, while the lateral displacement Ly suppresses the transmission of this peak. Here we try to discuss the physical explanations of these spectral behaviours by surface plasmon waves on the metal films and by using the concepts of surface plasma (SP) and guided modes in our double metal structure.  相似文献
