In this paper the thought on the uniform convergence of an empirical Bayes estimator or linear empirical Bayes (l.e.B.) estimator
is advanced. Under two different models the l.e.B. estimators of the parameter are constructed respectively. It is proved
that the convergence rates and uniform convergence rates of these l.e.B. estimators are all one with respect to the corresponding
prior families. It is shown that the uniform convergence rate one is the best, under mild assumptions imposed on the conditional

In this paper, a new vectorial boundary element method is introduced and applied to the modal analysis of dielectric waveguides with piecewise homogeneous refractive indexes. The procedure, which is free of spurious modes, determines the full field distribution from the longitudinal fields at the refractive index boundaries. Singular kernels are evaluated through series solutions while the electric field discontinuity at corners is accommodated through either a grid refinement technique or a semianalytic approach. Our formalism generates propagation constants and modal field distributions for several representative refractive index profiles with far higher accuracy than standard finite-difference or finite-element procedures. 相似文献

A series of dicarbazolyl derivatives bridged by various aromatic spacers and decorated with peripheral diarylamines were synthesized using Ullmann and Pd‐catalyzed C–N coupling procedures. These derivatives emit blue light in solution. In general, they possess high glass‐transition temperatures (Tg > 125 °C) which vary with the bridging segment and methyl substitution on the peripheral amine. Double‐layer organic light‐emitting devices were successfully fabricated using these molecules as hole‐transporting and emitting materials. Devices of the configuration ITO/HTL/TPBI/Mg:Ag (ITO: indium tin oxide; HTL: hole‐transporting layer; TPBI: 1,3,5‐tris(N‐phenylbenzimidazol‐2‐yl)benzene) display blue emission from the HTL layer. The EL spectra of these devices appear slightly distorted due to the exciplex formation at the interfaces. However, for the devices of the configuration ITO/HTL/Alq3/Mg:Ag (Alq3 = tris(8‐hydroxyquinoline)aluminum) a bright green light from the Alq3 layer was observed. This clearly demonstrates the facile hole‐transporting property of the materials described here. 相似文献

Herein a novel Dyadic Green's Function (DGF) is presented to calculate the field in ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC) chamber. Due to the difficulty of simulating the whole chamber environment, the analysis combines the DGF formulation and the FEM method, with the latter deals with the reflection from absorbers. With DGF formulation for infinite periodic array structures, this paper investigates electromagnetic field in chamber with truncated arrays. The reflection from the absorber serves as the virtual source contributing to the total field. Hence the whole chamber field calculation can be separated from the work of absorber model set-up. Practically the field homogeneity test and Normal Site Attenuation (NSA) test are carried out to evaluate the chamber performance. Based on the method in this paper, the simulation results agree well with the test, and predict successfully the victim frequency points of the chamber. 相似文献

We describe one convenient synthesis route to boron nitride (BN) nanotube by the reaction of boron powder, iron oxide, and ammonium chloride at 600 °C for 12 h. A new collectively fixed point theorem for a family of set-valued mappings defined on product spaces of non-compact topological spaces without linear structure is proved and some special cases are also discussed. As applications, some non-empty intersection theorems of sets with convex sections and equilibrium existence theorem of abstract economies are obtained under much weaker assumptions.
