Photoacoustic Spectrometry Investigation and Determination of Rare Earth Ions Ho3+ and Nd3+ in a Solution

A home-made high sensitive photoacoustic transducer was used to determine the photoacoustic signal in a solution. The photoacoustic spectra of Ho in different solvents were measured and comparedwith its absorption spectrum. The affection factors of photoacousticsensitivity are discussed. The trivalent rare earth ions Ho3+ and Nd3+in an aqueous acetonitrile solution were determined. The detection limit is 5×10-8 mol/L for Ho3+ and 1.0 ×10-7 mol/L for Nd3+, and corresponds to the absorbance of 1.5×10 and 6.3×10-7.respectively.     

β-Bromodifluoromethyl β-enaminoketones: versatile synthetic intermediates for synthesis of CF2-containing compounds

A series of N-aryl β-bromodifluoromethyl β-enaminoketones were regioselectively synthesized in good yield by the reaction of N-aryl bromodifluoroacetimidoyl chlorides with methyl ketones. β-Bromodifluoromethyl β-enaminoketones smoothly cyclized to give a novel class of cyclic (2,2-difluoro-5-phenyl-furan-3-ylidene)-aryl-amines under basic condition. An intramolecular halophilic substitution mechanism was proposed.

Highly regioselective rearrangement of 2-substituted vinylepoxides catalyzed by gallium(III) triflate

Gallium(III) triflate catalyzed the rearrangement of 2-substituted vinylepoxides into beta,gamma-unsaturated carbonyl compounds with high regio- and chemoselectivity (>97/3) in low catalyst loading (1-5 mol %). The alkyl-substituted trimethylsilylvinyl epoxides gave beta,gamma-unsaturated ketone, but aryl-substituted vinylepoxides gave the aldehydes instead.     

Asymmetric synthesis of cis-5-tert-butylproline with metal carbenoid NH insertion

The highly stereoselective intramolecular metal carbenoid insertion reaction of sulfinimine-derived delta-amino alpha-diazoesters is used to prepare cis-5-tert-butylproline. A concerted or nearly concerted metal carbenoid N-H insertion reaction mechanism is proposed.     

A facile approach to surface graft vinyl acetate onto polyolefin articles

A facile and environment friendly approach was developed to graft vinyl acetate (VAc) onto plastic articles in an aqueous solution using tert‐butyl alcohol (TBA) as a compatiblizer and benzoyl peroxide (BPO) as an initiator. In a novel setup, excessive monomer suspended in a water phase, VAc could be conveniently grafted on the model substrate of low‐density polyethylene (LDPE) film and the graft percentage (GP) could be developed up to 7.3%. Reaction temperature could increase GP significantly, while adding monomer over a critical volume did not influence GP. By adding some paradioxybenzene, i.e. 0.06–0.08% in VAc phase, homopolymer PVAc could be avoided practically, while graft polymerization proceeded favorably in aqueous solutions. It was proved by attenuated total reflection‐infrared (ATR‐IR) spectroscopy that grafted VAc was located mainly at the surface of the LDPE film and hydrophilic nature of both grafted and alcoholyzed films were improved via contact angle measurements. 示差脉冲伏安法测定黄酒中的酪氨酸

本文研究了硼砂介质中镍与酪氨酸络合物的示差脉冲吸附伏安特性，实验了仪器参数对示差脉冲阴极吸附伏安法的影响，在最佳条件下络合物峰电流与酪氨酸浓度在２．０×１０＾－７～４．０×１０＾－５ｍｏｌ．Ｌ＾－１范围内有线性关系，并以此法测定了黄酒中酪氨酸的含量。     

含羟基的青蒿倍半萜内酯差向异构体的合成

本文报道以青蒿酸(2)为原料合成了一些含羟基的青蒿倍半萜内酯差向异构体9与10、11与12、13与14。其中9已从青蒿中分离到。     

THz spectroscopic investigation of 2,4-dinitrotoluene

We have investigated the terahertz (THz) spectrum of 2,4-DNT by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy in the 0.2–19.5 THz region. We also examined low-frequency intermolecular or phonon modes between 0.2 and 1.8 THz via THz time-domain spectroscopy. The extracted absorption coefficient and refractive index of an intermolecular band at 1.08 THz are 110 cm⁻¹ and 1.67, respectively. Density functional theory (DFT) was applied to obtain structure and vibrational frequencies of 2,4-DNT. The calculated results are in agreement with the experimental data. Observed vibrational frequencies have been interpreted using DFT. Two intermolecular or phonon modes were identified at 1.08 and 2.52 THz.     

Metal speciation using capillary electrophoresis--inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry and polytetrafluoroethylene capillaries

A capillary electrophoresis--inductively coupled plasma atomic-emission spectrometry (CE-ICP-AES) system using a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) capillary has been developed. The CE-ICP interface was a modified concentric nebulizer. The PTFE capillary (50 microm internal diameter) was used as the central capillary of the nebulizer. Using the PTFE capillaries, the solution flow rate induced by the carrier gas flow was smaller than that of glass capillary. Solution flow was mainly induced by the CE electric field. Baseline separation of Ba2+/Mg2+ ion pair using simple buffer solution of 0.014 M sodium acetate was reported. Separation and correlation of metal species in metallothioneins (MT-1 and MT-2 in MT) of rabbit liver using the CE-ICP system were also discussed.
