A new norditerpenoid alkaloid has been isolated from the roots of Delphinium cuneatum. On the basis of 1H, 13C NMR, IR, and mass spectra, the structure of the alkaloid was established as 1,6,14-trimethoxy-7,8-dihydroxy-18-(2-methyl)succinylanthranoyloxyaconane (16-demethoxymethyllycaconitine). The roots of Delphinium cuneatum also contain the known alkaloid methyllycaconitine and N,N"-di(methoxycarbonyl)-3,4-diaminotoluene.  相似文献

The E ? Z photoisomerization of the title compound (UA) (a naturally occurring sunscreen) has been studied in aqueous solution. At a UA concentration of 6mM and using 313nm excitation, φE→z= 0.52, φZ→E= 0.47 and the photostationary state is 34% E. Under these conditions, loss of UA is minimal. Low energy triplet quenchers fail to impede the isomerization, but the reaction can be induced by several triplet sensitizers. The ET for UA is estimated to be approximately 55 kcal/mol.  相似文献

First principles spin-polarized electronic band structure calculations were carried out for three ordered spin states of CdVO3, and the strengths of its corner- and edge-sharing spin exchange interactions were estimated. To gain insight into why CdVO3 exhibits ferromagnetism while CaV2O5 does not despite their apparent structural similarity, the spin exchange interactions of CdVO3 and CaV2O5 were compared in terms of spin dimer analysis using extended Hückel tight binding calculations, and the local geometries of their V4+ ions were examined.  相似文献

Accurate G3(MP2) calculations of the enthalpies of formation (Delta(f)H298) of organic molecules permit replication and extension of calculations that were formerly dependent on experimental thermochemical results. A case in point is Kistiakowski's classical calculation of the total stabilization enthalpy of benzene relative to that of cyclohexene, called for many years the "resonance energy". This paper investigates extension of the classical calculation to substituted benzenes. Slight modification of the usual procedure for Delta(f)H298 determination permits exclusion of all empirical information, leaving a purely ab initio result. Stabilization enthalpies relative to the corresponding 4-substituted cyclohexenes are presented for benzene, toluene, aniline, phenol, phenylacetylene, styrene, ethylbenzene, and phenylhydrazine. In the process of calculating these stabilization enthalpies, we have also obtained 42 values of Delta(f)H298 for monosubstituted benzenes, cyclohexenes, and cyclohexanes, 24 of which are not in the standard reference literature. For the remaining 18 G3(MP2) results, the unsigned mean difference between calculated Delta(f)H298 values and experimental results is +/-0.91 kcal x mol(-1).  相似文献

An extensive study on the appearance of multi-electron features in the X-ray absorption spectra of several yttrium(III)-based compounds has been performed. The existence of a multi-electron transition of non-negligible intensity within the extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) region of the Y K-edge spectra has been proven. The impact of such features in the EXAFS analysis is made evident for aqueous solutions of YBr3 x 6H2O in liquid and glassy states in the concentration range 0.005-2.0 M, in which this transition induces an overestimation in the coordination numbers derived from EXAFS. We have performed theoretical computation of cross-sections for the double-electron processes at the K-edge of both Y and Br. These computations have been applied to the experimental EXAFS K-edge spectra of both Y and Br in several solids and in aqueous solutions. While in the case of Y K-edge spectra the presence of such multi-electron transitions was seen to seriously affect the standard EXAFS analysis, its influence in the case of Br K-edge spectra was determined to be negligible.  相似文献

By mapping the interactions of colloidal particles onto the problem of minimizing areas, the physics of foams can be used to understand the phase diagrams of both charged and fuzzy colloids. We extend this analogy to study the elastic properties of such colloidal crystals and consider the face-centered cubic, body-centered cubic and A15 lattices. We discuss two types of soft interparticle potentials corresponding to charged and fuzzy colloids, respectively, and we analyze the dependence of the elastic constants on density as well as on the parameters of the potential. We show that the bulk moduli of the three lattices are generally quite similar, and that the shear moduli of the two non-close-packed lattices are considerably smaller than in the face-centered cubic lattice. We find that in charged colloids, the elastic constants are the largest at a finite screening length, and we discuss a shear instability of the A15 lattice.  相似文献

Myristoylpeptides were synthesized in order to determine if a neutral loss of 210 Da, C14H26O (the mass of the myristoyl moiety), was universal and observable by both liquid chromatography electrospray ionization quadrupole ion trap (LC-ESI-QIT) and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight time-of-flight (MALDI-ToF/ToF) mass spectrometry. Myristoylation was successfully introduced on the N-terminus, internally on the amino group of lysine and arginine. Larger peptides and the arginine compounds needed elevated temperatures for myristoylation. To our knowledge, this is the first report of a chemically-synthesized myristoylated arginine in a peptide. Collision energy studies for the LC-ESI-QIT instrument showed that modified peptides and a loss of 210 Da could be detected under commonly used conditions (energy level between 30 and 42%) with picomole amounts of sample. The loss of myristoyl moiety is observed on the MALDI-Tof/Tof mass spectrometer as well. Due to the hydrophobic properties of the myristoyl moiety, it is not surprising that the modified peptides all formed at least dimers, and in some cases trimers. We were also able to distinguish a mixture of two mono-myristoylated peptides. MS3 data from the LC-ESI-QIT instrument on a di-myristoylated peptide indicates the loss of 210 Da at either the N-terminus or lysine. We were also able to analyze a mixture of modified and unmodified peptides on the MALDI-ToF/ToF instrument. The data presented in this paper demonstrates the constant neutral loss of the 210 Da, C14H26O, from both N-terminally and internally myristoylated peptides can be identified unambiguously using LC-ESI-QIT or MALDI-ToF/ToF mass spectrometers. This will be a useful tool in determining the myristoylation status of candidate proteins after enzyme digestion, and in elucidating the modification sites of internal myristoyl proteins.  相似文献

Bismuth (0–110 μg) is determined spectrophotometrically at 495 nm after its adsorptive extraction from dilute sulphuric acid as hexadecyltributylphosphonium tetraiodobismuthate(III) on microcystalline benzophenone and dissolution of the solid phase in carbon tetrachloride. The effects of acidity, diverse ions and masking studies are reported. The system is applied to the determination of bismuth in pharmaceutical samples.  相似文献

The polysaccharides of three cultivated varieties ofAlthea rosea have been investigated. The amounts of water-soluble polysaccharides and pectin substances in various organs of the plant have been determined. It has been shown that the maximum amount of water-soluble polysaccharides and pectin substances is present in the flowers. Their monosaccharide compositions have been studied.
